Ryan, the owner of Top Tree came out and gave me a quote for the services to be provided, he was prompt and very courteous. When I advised of when I needed the services done, he made the arrangements and we agreed. He provided me a written quote and he was by far the lowest of 8 other bids on the project. One of the bids I got was $3000 just for the weeping willow and roots to be cleaned up! Not only was he the lowest of the bids, the others didn't include removal of the roots, or the other 15 trees and stumps. I actually had one other gentleman tell me that Ryan wasn't going to make anything charging that little on the project. Ryan called me a day ahead of time to confirm that they were coming the following day to remove the trees. They came to remove all the trees on March 25, 2014 and then scheduled the stump grinding for the following day. Ryan called me later that night and indicated that the stump grinder had some issues and they were repairing it and asked if it would be possible to come the following Wednesday instead. I said no problem. Wednesday April 02, 2014, Ryan's crew came and began the stump grinding after having to remove a portion of my fence to get the grinder in the back yard. The gentleman was so nice and professional. He started to use the grinder and it messed up, so he called Ryan and he came over and they repaired it on site and finished the work. Over all the experience was very pleasant, the only thing that I wish I would have known about in the beginning was that with a stump that big it would leave ALOT of shavings, and big pieces of wood behind. I am going to have someone come and take away all that leftover stuff, but with the money that I saved, I am still a very happy person.

In and out in less than 4 hours, and if it wasn't for the missing tree tops, I wouldn't know they had been here. Owner checked back to make sure I was happy with the job. Cost was half of one of the estimates I had received. Use again if needed.

The crew came and cut down the tree then Ryan came by and ground up the stump. Ryan the owner of Top Tree Service is one of best people I have ever dealt with. They cleaned up ever thing after they were done. If you need tree service then call Ryan. This the secound time we have used there service and have been very pleased. Thanks Ryan

Did an on-site estimate - price was very reasonable. Finished in one afternoon - very efficient. Removed debris. Did extra trimming of some branches at no extra charge! No damage to lawn!

Overall I would recommend them for any tree service needed.

Due to varying circumstances caused by trees being blown over in the area, this job took nearly a month from Ryan coming to give me a bid to the actual work being done. I dealt with three different individuals and each person told me a little different story about how the trees and bushes should be trimmed. I was relying on them for their expertise and I found that a bit confusing. Both days the workers came there was a problem with timing. I would have appreciated a phone call and told them this. I do believe Ryan told the workers to work to make me happy and he told me he would make it up to me. This was not reflected in a discounted bill, so I am hoping it was in the quality of work they did. Overall, I am pleased with the appearance and will try them again. I will attempt clearer two-way communication next time.

They took down a tall black locust tree and hauled away debris, leaving the trunk in 14"-16" pieces as requested. They had to consider poles/lines, mailboxes, chainlink fence, pine tree and shrubs. They pruned a flowering cherry tree and had to consider a wooden fence, shrubs, chainlink fence, and pool storage shed and considered the neighbor's yard in the process. They picked up all debris and hauled it off. I was very pleased with the work accomplished in 1 1/2 hrs.

Ryan showed up to give an estimate right on time. He took his time to explain everything and gave his suggestions. When I called to schedule the work, he was on vacation and promptly called me back the day he said he would and scheduled for the following Friday. The crew was fairly punctual and came first thing in the morning as planned. They diligently went to work and they were done in about 4.5 hours, a much shorter time frame than I anticipated. This crew did a great job being safe and just working their tails off. And they did a great job cleaning up the tree debris. My only qualms were that they left several empty coffee cups and water bottles in our yard and left a few burned spots in the grass. As for the stump grinding, that is a totally different experience. Ryan had let me know that the stump grinding would occur the following Wed or Fri after the trees were removed. So when I didn't hear from anyone and didn't see anyone all morning on Wed, I figured they would come on Friday. Then, much to my surprise, I hear a lot of noise in my backyard around 1pm on Wed. A pair of workers had opened my RV gate and proceeded to drive on my lawn with the grinder without even a knock on my front door. I was shocked that someone had the gall to just go into my backyard without any notice whatsoever. What's more nerve wracking is that I work from home so that didn't make me feel very safe. Unfortunately, I was on a conference call when this was happening so by the time I could go outside to talk to them, they had already started working. It didn't seem safe to go out there with the debris flying around. Even when they were done and saw that I was home, they didn't come to the door to say they were all done and ask if I had any questions. Meanwhile, after my husband started working to clean up the mulch left behind, he saw they left large chunks of the root. They ground before and after some parts so it doesn't make any sense why there are still large chunks where they are. And they just left. I thought I remembered Ryan, the owner, saying that he usually comes by after to inspect the job but that didn't occur either. So while I was happy that the work was done within the time frame I had in mind, I felt it was very unprofessional that they entered my backyard without any notice and didn't come to the door after the work was complete to inspect and ensure I was happy with what they had done. I would suggest that anyone using them in the future request a notification call and ask to be given the opportunity to inspect prior to their leaving. Also, as a side note regarding the stump grinding, I was told that most customers don't want the mulch hauled away because they use it in the yard for various things but had I known the amount of work involved and amount of mulch that the sycamore they removed would leave, I would have paid to have it removed.

The arrived within the time scheduled and completed the work as requested with complete cleanup afterword. The team were professional and responsive to my feed back. I would definitely call Tree Top Services for future tree work.

Crew arrived around 9:00am on 8/8 and went to work. Instructions were spelled out on the work order. Asked me for a couple of clarifications. Finished work after we had left for the weekend. They cleaned up everything. Nice work.

The crew (3 young men) showed up on time and looked over the job. The crew leader had very good experience doing this kind of work and made sure the other 2 helpers knew what to do and how to do it. They were able to manuever their equipment into some very tight places and were very aware of an existing vineyard. They took down the trees safely and cut up the large stumps into firewood. Two things that people should be aware of. 1.) the firewood stumps were left in place where they were cut (not stacked neatly) 2.) the cleanup is of the large debris, not the small stuff (i.e. this is not a landscaping service) All of the crew were polite and overall did a very good job. I would use them again for another job.

Ryan was prompt with his estimate, accurate with the scheduling although they were a little late due to a previous job. Hauled all branches, leaves & twigs away. Replaced broken fence board from falling branch free of charge.

I had 4 trees needing trimming and pruning. two trees were slapping our house during wind storm and 2 trees needed to be cleaned out and pruned. They did an excellent job on all trees.

The fenceline tree surprised all of us...it had intense wire from the fence within the stump and a big rock as well....the tree grew around those...destroyed one of Ryan's workers (CJ's) saw blades...due to unforseen problems, this jacked up the quote a bit, totally understandable and Ryan was very fair in the offset amount, as he only charged another $75 for this. Prompt, courteous, professional, prepared and fair...sounds like a perfect score in my book. Thank you, Ryan and CJ!

Ryan Hone came to my home on the same day that I called him and gave me a price for the work I wanted done. I felt that the price was very fair because I had had a quote for another company which was considerably higher. We agreed on a day for the service to be performed. It fit my needs completely ( I needed it done by a certain time). The team arrived on time and were very fast in complete the job. At the same time, they were very thorogh in explaining what they were doing and why. They also answered the other questions I had about caring for my trees. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything clean and beautiful. Ryan followed up with a call to make sure we were happy with the service. Overall, I am really happy and have already recommended Top Tree Service to one of my friends.

The Owner -Ryan Returned my phone call for quote immediately. We scheduled an inspection and agreed on a price for the services. His crew performed the work as promised. A true "no hassle" "no drama" transaction. Quick note... called two others on "angiesList" ---they never returned my calls.

Top Tree Service LLC came in, and grinded my tree stumps. Most of the trees had already been chopped off, and were at least 5-10 years old. None of the trees were fully grown. He came in with a machine, and it took care of the tree stumps within minutes. He removed approximately 23 tree stumps on our property. I very much thank him for his service that was provided. He did an excellent job, and was gone within an hour. I thought it was amazing to watch, in how short a time he grinded those trees and got rid of them.I will use his service again as needed, and he did an amazing job. Thank you!

We called Top Tree Service for an estimate and they came out that day. Ryan was knowledgable and professional. He took the time to answer all our questions and give suggestions. He gave us estimates for two options to deal with this very large tree; to top and shape it or to remove it completely. We called him a few days later to schedule the tree removal with the request that it be removed before the leaves dropped. He was able to accommodate that request even tho his schedule was filling up. The crew was scheduled for 10/12 however, Ryan called a week before and asked if we could come one day earlier. The crew arrived on time, coordinated their jobs and went right to work. They used their time efficiently and professionally. They had to work around our chainlink fence and carry the limbs and logs up a steep hill to the chipper. The yard inside and outside the fenced area was clean and clear of all limbs and leaves when they left! Ryan called a few days later to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction and to answer any questions we had about treating the stump. We chose to kill the stump and all the roots during the winter so Top Tree Service can come back and chip out the stump next year. We were very happy with Top Tree Service.

Ryan is the owner of Top Tree Service, but he doesn't top trees. He took out several stumps, a pine tree, and crown restored a large tree. He stuck to prices quoted. He does stumps on Wednesday's with a machine using a remote control. He told my mother that Friday is his day off. The price seemed fair, but I really have nothing to compare it to. I wish the tree had been trimmed higher - but the job was completed by an outside crew when I was not home to express concerns. One stump was left undone when the crew left. We waited weeks before he got to our job. His business is based out of Richland - and it felt like having to come to Pasco was not desirable. We have 2 more large trees, one that really needs to be topped off. I decided to go to someone else simple because 1) I don't want to wait, 2) I am not happy with the first tree trimming, 3) I'd rather do business with someone who likes working in Pasco, and 4) I'd like a tree topped off.

The work went well and I'm pleased with the results.Ryan wasn't here the day that the crew did the trees and I observed a couple of work methods that I consider to be unsafe.I expressed concern to him about it. Since there isn't a "Safety" category, I addressed this as a lack of "Professionalism".

They are very fair and honest. They are real upfront, what you see is what you get. They offered a great price compared to other companies I looked at.
