Description of Work: Installed a 20'*20' Trex deck with a handicap ramp. Started out slow, but finished quickly. The material was good, but Trex didn't have long enough boards to go all the way across. If I knew they didn't, I would have planned on a little smaller deck or different design. The installer guaranteed the deck for 1 year.

+ 0 moreThey were fine. It was great. They had pretty much everything I needed. The people up there were good. Overall, my experience with Lowe's in general is good. We had our home in San Diego. We had a kitchen remodel done through Lowe's. We went through five contractors. In the end, Lowe's took care of everything. Price is about average. They're competitive. There is no great savings.
Description of Work: I bought all my stuff from them. We actually remodeled the house. I got everything. So bathroom tile, bathroom fixtures, paint, flooring. It was quite a bit of stuff.

+ -1 moreWent to Lowes to check out laminate flooring. They had what we wanted at the price we wanted. We ordered the product, and set up an install date. The installers were a delight to have around. The first day they ran into a problem. The floor in the living room that was supposed to have been fixed by a contractor was not done even close to correct. So we went ahead and hired the flooring installers to correct the problem. The problem was corrected within an hour maybe two at the most.Then they went ahead with the install of the laminate flooring. They finished on the second day. There was a little Lump in the laminate in the walkway they word right on the spot to come in and fix it. I was very pleased with the product and the install.

+ -1 moreIt looks like it is smudged all over. We moved here in December of 2010 and noticed it then. They wouldn't get anyone out to look at it, they just kept telling us what cleaner to use. They finally came out two weeks ago to check on it and the just told us again to use a certain kind of cleaner on it. I am sorely disappointed in them because this is a brand new house.
Description of Work: They sold us some laminate flooring that they will not honor the warranty on.

+ -1 moreWe did get estimates from other places but Lowe's had someone that they contract with to do the work. Overall they treated us right so I would rate them overall an A. We will use them again and they are conveniently located to us.
Description of Work: For roofing we used Lowe's. They were out about six to eight months ago.
