Description of Work: We have been a client for fire alarm for more than a decade. In that time, there has been no contact with the company to check on alarm status or system. When we discovered that the system was not working - we had no word from them that this was "down". We have so little confidence in the company we terminated the service well in advance of the end of our annual contract. They billed us anyway for the full $300, then when they did an internal connect -(obviously the left hand and right were not talking - further bolstering our lack of confidence) - billed us for the $25 that covered the time after our contract ended until they finally got around to stopping the service. When I complained, they said they had no way to stop the service unless we were on site to access the keypad - or we could pay for one of their techs to come up and do it. That was their problem. I clearly asked them to stop monitoring. Not my problem - that you could simply not use what we now call a computer to close the account and halt monitoring. Incompetence? Obsolete? We don't care! Archaic practices - all designed in my opinion to extend billing. Sent them the $25 check after they dunned me. Never use these clowns for anything .
