Ovation Restoration did a fantastic job on remodeling both our bathrooms!

I had my kitchen completely remodeled one year ago. It turned out so great, I now have a beautiful custom kitchen that I wouldn't have achieved without his design help. I wrote a review then but wanted to update it as I had to have Rick back over a small issue a week ago. He got right on it and it is fixed already. I am getting ready to have my bathroom remodeled and Ovations will be my contractor again.

Ovation manages client contracts and finances while Unique Interiors (Kris Tavares) crews do the work. Overall, the construction was of average quality, and am I generally satisfied with the results. Most workers were timely, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. However, there were a number of issues of missed timelines, demands for early payments (although the total paid was as agreed). Several of the subs or workers were problematic and callbacks from both Ovation and Unique were difficult. His work was often installed where other work was planned. As a result, his work needed redoing. Because he was rarely quickly available to fix his mistakes, these erred installations significantly increased the project duration. He rarely cleaned up after himself, leaving scraps, and construction debris left where he worked requiring other workers or the homeowner to clean-up. His worst mistake was drilling a 3 ½ in a hole in an array of standard 2X4s to accommodate a 2 in conduit to pass through. The result was that the involved wall required reconfiguring to ensure structural soundness. This event was complicated by his using brute force to remove a frozen stud in an electrical meter base, which then broke off. Instead of drilling out the broken stud, he ordered a new service, which necessitated a two-week period with no electricity to the house. Not only did this delay the project, if necessitated people living here to vacate during this time and required use of an extension cord from a neighbor to keep the refrigerator and freezer running. This alone was cause for a 3-week delay in the overall project. A number of other delays were the result of materials not ordered in a timely manner so that when workmen were assigned, instead of beginning work on the ordered materials, they had to go find what was needed at the store. In some cases, this required ordering materials that were back-ordered, adding to the delays. It must be said that this small project was originally projected to have an elapsed completion time of 1 month. In all, the project took over 4 months with many interim completion dates given and passed. These delays were complicated by two international trips the owners took, one of which I hired a person to oversee construction in my absence, the second because of problems in my first absence, I halted construction for 3.5 weeks while I was gone. The person hired to install cabinets, which were very nice quality, were hung in a very unprofessional manner with screw heads exposed inside the cabinets and many of these proud of the cabinet wall, which prevented me from using screw covers. About cabinet designs: I was presented a cabinet plan and pressured to approve it. We discussed the plan and made some agreements of the changes needed and I signed off. Unfortunately, all the changes we discussed were not followed and some original designs were ordered. This was my error for signing off to a plan without better documentation of the oral changes.Part of the plan was the installation of a shallow counter that needed custom fabrication. The finish material had to be repaired and this did not work so it was agreed to replace the counter as warranty work after the project was completed. The person who built this also undertook the redo. The final quality of the work was very poor. The counter was somewhere from ¼ to 1/8 inch away from the wall. He attempted to fill the gap with silicone and smeared it on both the wall and the counter. He left the redo in this condition without letting the owner know he was going. I reported this issue to both Ovation and Unique, without any response. I had to make the repair on the counter myself.

Rick Arnold and Ovation Restoration gave me a very successful customized remodeling of my entire home, including the gorgeous new kitchen and two bathrooms. My ideas and preferences were treated with respect by all the skilled workers involved, and Rick maintained his positive, professional, accommodating attitude throughout the process. He impresses me as a very fine fellow who really knows his stuff. I love my new home.

When ordering or picking tile allow 2 weeks! Didn't realize that getting the correct amount would delay this project. The ideas offered by the contact person and workmen were very sound! The completed project is functioning perfectly. Workmen were excellent.

We hired them to remodel our kitchen, bathroom, hallway, and living room. We are so very happy with the results!!! It looks like a model showroom. The staff were all polite, professional, and hard working. The company showed their commitment to customer satisfaction by regularly confirming with us that the product and project details were exactly what we wanted. Rick, the contractor visited the job once or twice daily to check in with us and with the staff. He did a great job making our vision a reality.

We recently had our 2 bathrooms renovated by Ovation Restoration. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. These guys do lots of custom work for high end customers and the initial quote was well outside our budget. Rick Arnold discussed with us several options to help reduce the cost. He recommended some big box store options for cabinetry and other fixtures while still allowing us to have some custom tile work done for the Jacuzzi bathtub surround and master shower. The final quote for the remodel was not the lowest we received but was very competitive. We encountered a few bumps in the road and the project ended up taking a little longer than expected. All of the delays were outside the control of Ovation. During the renovation we developed a leak with a water control manifold that could not be repaired or replaced. Rick immediately contacted a reputable plumber and coordinated with them to schedule a complete re-pipe of our home on short notice. The re-piping resulted in several holes being cut in the walls throughout the house. Rick ensured that the walls were repaired and re textured without an additional charge to us. We also had a delay because one of the big box stores managed to â loseâ one of our vanities and had to reorder. Through all the delays Rick still managed to ensure that things that could be done were being taken care of. The most pleasant surprise of the project was the interaction we had with all the workers doing the remodel. They were always on time, were very professional, and kept us updated on the progress. Many times they worked through the lunch hour. At the end of each day they cleaned up the area. We were impressed at the attention to detail each worker had and their desire for quality results. We would like to single out Josh (the demolition guy) and Jason. Josh in particular had great attention to detail and kept us continually updated of the progress. Jason is a master tile layer. His insight into helping us decide the layout for the shower and surround walls was paramount in our satisfaction with the final results. We will definitely contact Rick and Ovation Restoration for our next project. The final cost for the project matched the initial quote despite some minor modifications. Thank you Rick and all the folks at Ovation for transforming our bathrooms into something we are proud of!

They are amazing. They are by your side from start to finish and I will choose them again for any and all of of my house hold repairs. They make sure that you are satisfied with their work and are more than willing to make accommodations so you are. They have become more than just a team that you hire, they make you feel like part of the family.

Full kitchen remodel: I am extremely happy with Ovations - Their quality of work, their attention to detail; Quality professionals - each and every person involved was the best that I could have hoped for. My kitchen was completely remodeled. It went from a small cramped kitchen, which I hated with a passion, to the kitchen of my dreams.

Although satisfied with final outcome, it was very expensive.

We recently had an entire basement remodel completed. The outcome is phenomenal. We love the end results. The crew was great to work with and are true professionals. Outstanding contractor

This project was for remodeling 3 bathrooms and a total kitchen remodel. The construction workers were very skilled. They were very good about listening to our suggestions along the way. I would suggest that the construction foreman be present along with the salesman when the project is estimated so that technical issues and be better clarified. For example, we removed carpet and installed DVT vinyl flooring which resulted in different leveling issues. These issues could have been resolved early on rather than brainstorming solutions with the workers at the ends. The project was done on time as scheduled even though we added some changes along the way. The electrical subcontractor should have clarified options for wiring for the kitchen better. The only negative comment I can make is that we thought the cost was a little high, however the quality was very good. The final project is beautiful.

You can't go wrong if you hire this team. From Rick (our project manager/co-owner) to Josh (plumbing/co-owner) to John (who did the majority of the work) they have been our best experience with any contractor we have hired! All of them were more than happy to stop and answer any questions that we had. They all have amazing attention to detail. John was a very nice young man and went out of his way for us when he left and picked up our vanity after Home Depot cancelled our order by mistake. They completed the job 2 days faster than the minimum estimate we were given and that included our custom glass doors! Our bathroom is stunning, when we show friends pictures, they're first response is "Wow!" it's like walking into a spa every day and we couldn't be happier, it turned out exactly the way we wanted it to and we would hire them again if we need something done.

Medical issues forced an unplanned bathroom ADA remodel. Rick and crew did great job, on time, with complete satisfaction. Jason and Josh were super helpful with suggestions and solutions to unforseen circumstances. The doors had to be widened, the shower expanded and level floor for wheelchair access, toilet moved, sink and vanity changed, lighting upgraded, ramp built, grab bars installed. All completed in time. Knowledgeable friends rated the floor-to-ceiling tile installations as 95 out of 100. Love to shower now. Thanks

A major kitchen remodel can be a very stressful project, but Rick and his team made it as smooth and efficient as possible. Ricks attention to detail was impeccable - he consistently checked on the progress at all stages, making daily site visits - often multiple times per day. The work crew, especially the foreman Jason, were absolutely top notch. Again, the attention to quality and detail was what set these guys apart. The job was estimated to take 4 weeks and they came in just a hair over that simply due to drywall drying times near a weekend. We are beyond happy with our final finished kitchen. We had very high expectations and they were undoubtedly exceeded. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rick and Ovation Restoration and certainly plan on using them again in the future for other projects.

Added two rooms to our basement. Quality job, and professional workmanship!

First it was a chore to get people here to bid on our project. We originally hired Ovation Restoration to install a backyard deck expansion. Of the dozen contractors contacted they were one of the 3 that showed. We appreciated Rick's product knowledge and the emphasis on making it look as close to the existing deck as possible. We liked the plan and the bid and it was done within 2 weeks. That gave us the confidence to hire them back for a porch enclosure project including moving the front door and adding windows. Knowing that most creative plans are prone to change, it was refreshing to work with a group of people that have your best interest in mind. Especially when forks in the road occur. Rick's crew dealt with all of them with honesty, candor, and craftsmanship. I recommend them highly and they will be our go-to guys in the future.

They employees were all wonderful! The representative, Rick Arnold, knew the products we were interested in & answered our questions. Additionally he arranged for an installation date. Two young men came the day before with the flooring & the installers came the next day . Ricck also came (probably to check to see if everything was going right.....which it very much was) . they remodeled kitchen, dining room &laundry room/pantry we have a 1930 ish home so everything is not exactly square they did the best they could on some stuff which is ok but other stuff they wanted to just cover up and we had to insist that they fix it ex. could you just caulk those holes. What happen to the customer is always right! all we love our new rooms even thou it was a little spendy so 4 stars is all i can give them
