Description of Work: Andy Asmus came to my house and gave an estimate for trimming a large maple tree in my backyard. I had some specific things I wanted trimmed for safety around my home, which he did. He also trimmed, even the tallest portions of the tree, all of the dead areas off of the tree to help with growth. Professional and competent, and respectful of personal property around the home.

Description of Work: They pruned my young trees for shape, which I would only have done by a certified arborist. They also thinned branches in a large Douglas-fir, and delivered wood chips and milled wood. They're very efficient and knowledgeable, and did a great job of cleanup. Very nice to work with! They tend to be busy, so work may have to be scheduled in advance.

+ -1 moreAndy is knowledgable and careful and has the best interests of the trees at heart. (If you want a more brutal pruning, he is probably not the arborist for you.) He works on training future growth as well as just trimming, for example away from the gutters and roof. He and Kirk climb up into the trees to assess and perform the work.

Andy is one of five arborist companies that are certified by the City of Walla Walla to do tree service in the city owned park strips. Using a combination of hand tools and chain saws, Andy and his partner Kirk climbed the trees and expertly removed dead and dangerous branches, thinned the limbs creating a healthy, open, sturdy form. The trees are beautiful. It is a spectacle watching Andy's team; take the day off and watch the pros work!I feel previleged having Home Orchard and Tree Care work on our trees. We will have them back again for regular maintenance to preserve the remaining life of our beautiful Silver Maples. Glenn and Kristine HillWalla Walla

+ -1 moreHe's an excellent arborist. He's well known in the area for being the best. He's an excellent climber. He brings the tree down little by little so it doesn't hit the house. His specialty is maintaining trees. He takes care of a lot of the orchards in the area.
