+ -1 moreI have been a faithful customer of Grassi’s for 5+ years. They’ve installed 3 systems for me and serviced 4. I am a small business owner in town and don’t take negative reviews lightly. As of today, Grassi has lost me as a loyal customer. Over the past 6 months we’ve had consistent issues with a couple systems (5+ call outs to 2 properties). To their credit, since the units are under warranty they say they will warranty the parts. Even still we are at $1,700+ costs thus far. Today, our tenant was cold and turned on the heater. It is 60 degrees outside. Grassi is charging for another callout as the units that they worked on within the month threw another code. Their technician, Cody, called us and told us that this is an operator error, blaming our tenant for their machine malfunction, as these are “not designed to heat when the temperature outside is above 60”. These are the only heat source for the house as recommended and installed by Grassi. What is our tenant supposed to do? I don’t believe this is an engineering issue as I have more faith in Carrier (the brand installed) or my tenant, who deserves to be comfortable. My take is that this was either poorly installed or poorly recommended. When asking more questions Cody, the technician, told us that we knew nothing about refrigeration and hung up on us.

+ -1 moreInstallers did an outstanding job! We love the new system and it does all that we expected it to do in the way of filtering the air, cooling, and heating. We now have balanced air flow and temperature both upstairs and downstairs. Alas, their office staff was NOT up to the high quality level of the installers. They totally screwed up the invoice and the Lennox rebate process.

Description of Work: Provider took way to long to complete service. Also not having commercial equipment when coming to work on top of a building. Blame the customer for not having a tall enough ladder? The provider came to give a quote and should have known as a professional what type of equipment was needed for the job they were paid for.

+ -1 moreBoth the receptionist and service technician were first rate. Excellent communication and service. Would not look elsewhere for future work.
Description of Work: Repaired two broken gas stoves (30-40,000 BTUs) and performed routine maintenance on the same. Did some electronic magic to enable use of an Internet-based thermostat on one stove's previous micro-watt thermostat. Service another, non-vented stove. Replace shoddy exhaust duct work with safer and higher quality materials with a vented stove.

+ -1 moreAir conditioner stopped working and was concerned with havinv my parents in house with no air, since weather was suppose to be over 100 degrees. Called at 9 am this morning and service man was here at 10. Found problem right away and already had part in truck, everything was done within 15 minutes. GREAT SERVICE. THANKS GRASSI REFRIGERATION
