The installers were never on time and often not there when scheduled. My kitchen was torn apart for 10 days before the job was finished. even though I put 60% down, I had to entirely pay for 2 of the 3 areas before they would finish my kitchen. He never did finish the caulking of the first area nor repair the damage caused when he cut the fireplace for the granite. The damage to the walls was over an above what I expected. We increased the height of the backsplashes and wrap arounds because we expected those areas to show damage. There was a corner broken on the vanity mirror caused by removal of the original backsplash, the walls were scuffed during installation and the sheetrock was torn above the new backsplash , wall corners were also damaged. Debroeck owner said the home owner should expect this. When he did the estimates The owner said if we did all three areas at one time he would do a 15 year treat - according to the invoices he did that on the first two areas and decided not to on the kitchen, without telling us that The owner made his problems the customers problems. He made mention that he was not making money on the job and wanted to charge us for damage they did in their shop. If the install would have been done the day it was scheduled this would not have happened , its not the homeowners responsibility for damage to granite that was not even delivered yet. He blamed this on us because he said we were indecisive on the sink mount but I have a text that said we could go either way at the time of install. He invoiced us for this but after I disputed it he removed the charge as well as another charge for something he did not do. I am also not happy with the undermounted sinks in the bathroom , instead of being flush with the granite there is at least a 1/2 inch overhang where germs can grow. The kitchen sink does not have this overhang it is flush.
