I called West Coast Resurfacing today with a few questions re: our fire pit and retaining wall. The structure of each were built out of cinder block and we're looking to hand trowel the surface/s with a pigmented cement. I was not looking for a bid, but James was very kind to answer all of my questions and make some recommendations. He even told me who to call and how to ask for the product. Thank you James!

I set up an appointment for them to come out today at 10am. However, no one showed up or called.

James was prompt from beginning to end. He was professional in his information and bidding process and had plenty of references to back up his experience. His bid was not the lowest, but he did negotiate the price to where we felt comfortable. He and his helper worked until the job was finished to our satisfaction. They completed the job within the time estimated. They went the extra mile on every detail. We would have them back again!!

Jesse and Bo came over in the morning to meet with me to look over our basement concrete floor. They both exuded a lot of energy and enthusiasm and were not shy to point out that they are the best in this business. They asked what the square footage was in our basement and I told them the number another contractor had provided. They wrote up a quick quote with a number that fell in the middle based on 3 bids we had so far. I asked them if they could come back again and meet with my husband since we both have met the other contractors together and I would prefer that he meets them as well. They obliged and agreed to come back in the evening (this was much appreciated). As promised, Jesse and Bo came back in the evening and met with my husband. They brought a video showcasing some outdoor concrete work which was very informative. My husband asked them to measure our basement and their measurement actually came out less than the other contractor's. Jesse and Bo sent us another bid which had more detail describing all the work they would do. Overall, Jesse and Bo were very accommodating with our requests and we really liked them. However, when comparing the bids we decided on a bid that was a little bit more expensive than theirs but had a lot more detail. When my husband sent them an email to inform our decision, he received the following response: "I'm here to inform you that your inteligence has led you to an improper decision, good luck!" We were quite surprised and disappointed to get this response since we really liked them and had discussed how they would be great to do concrete work on our exterior project in the future.

The service went great. Other than overlay of new concrete, he knew how to make the floor look really good. They had the best price of all the companies I checked with for this service.
