I called and spoke to Warren (President) at We Clean Everything, and was glad to hear that he could accommodate my schedule. I showed up to the house just as the cleaning crew (two nice ladies) were finishing up. Everything seemed in order during my brief walkthrough after they left, although I did take some photos showing that they had failed to clean the windows properly. It wasn't a large enough concern, however, to make a big deal about, and I planned to pay the bill and simply forward the photos to Warren for his future reference. A couple of weeks later, I went to the home to pick up final payment from the homeowner, and she showed me that they had not cleaned out any of the cabinets throughout the home -- we had replaced her kitchen cabinets, laundry cabinets, and vanities in three bathrooms. This was a much bigger issue. When Warren reached out to me for payment a few days earlier (e-mail), I replied I asked him to call me to discuss the issues I had. He never got back to me. A week went by, and he reached out to me again, asking why he hadn't received a check. I told him it was because he still had not contacted me to discuss the issues with the clean. He threatened to take me to small claims court. I suggested that he send his crew back to the house to complete the clean, and that I would split that extra cost with him. He declined with a simple 'No thank you.' I told him he should come up with another solution, then, because it was unreasonable to expect full payment for a job partially done. His response was 'See you I court.' I don't have time to go stand in small claims court for something this trivial (the fact that he does might say something...) so I'm sending a check for full payment today, and will credit my customer so that they can clean the cabinets themselves, or hire another company.
Description of Work: I am a contractor, and I needed a house cleaned that we had completed a large remodel on. My normal cleaners had to reschedule, but, due to the customers' timeline, I needed someone immediately.
