He arrived promptly, we left the house, the work was completed in our absence and the carpets looked just great when we returned 1 week later.

I was SO IMPRESSED with James. He not only was very thorough in his response time but also his quality of work. He did a fantastic job and was very professional. I am asking him to come back and complete the rest of my job. I thought his prices were very reasonable.

James Marsh called the night before the appointment to confirm. He took care around our grand piano and glass/wood china cabinet in the living room, so as not to mark the wood finish. Jim arrived on time and was very pleasant and courteous. At one point I asked him to add a service which would have cost me more money and he told me it was not needed. He did a great job and the children were upset that he left. He was able to get me in the day after I called and still managed to get there on time.

The carpets always look EXCELLENT when he leaves. His price is middle-of-the-road, that is not the cheapest and not the most expensive. Price is only one part of the consideration and his are not out of line. What is more important is that his work is like his company's name, Top Notch. You won't be disappointed.

James Marsh showed up when he said he would and completed the job to my satisfaction in the amount of time he stated. He was knowledgeable and friendly telling me if there were any problems to please call and let him know. There were none.

When we called him he was very friendly and listened to what we wanted. We made an appointment with James at 12 on a Monday. He was very good about working around our schedule. He called a little after 11 and asked if it was alright to come a few minutes early. When he arrived, he looked professional and was very friendly. After talking with me about the job, he got right to work. After the job was done, he cleaned up and was on his way. He did take the time to answer my questions about the carpet and maintenance of it. Overall, this was the best experience I have ever had with a service like this. He has a customer for life - I recommend James most highly.

I called James, and he gave me an estimate over the phone, and since his was $20 less than the other companies I called, I made an appointment with him. He stayed with his price, even though I had called him back to inform him that the room was larger than I had originally stated. The house was empty, so I left a key under the mat for him. This was my only key, and he assured me that he would return it to its proper spot. I was so pleased with the results. I called James to tell him. At that time, he warned me that when the carpet dried, some of the stains might come back and to call him. Sure enough, some stains did come back. I called him. He came right away and remedied the situation. The carpets look wonderful.

Very well. The work was done on time. Everything was well organized and looked great when completed. Expressed eagerness to return if we had any problems with the work - which we don't.

Courteous, efficient. He prefaced his work with his general success rates with pet stains, so I had a realistic idea of what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything turned out.

On only one day's notice, James washed and extracted our living room and dining room carpets. The dining room had to be one of the worst pet-urine challenges he ever faced, recently soaked by a large dog. As soon as James came in and took a whiff he said, "You'll never get rid of all of this." He saturated the dining room with anti-urine solution, then washed and double-extracted. He warned me the smell would be masked by fragrance for a while and then would get worse before it got better. This was exactly what happened. After six days of humid weather with the heat on 85 degrees much of the time and exhaust fans blowing, the dining room carpet is finally almost dry. The residual smell in the pad and flooring is not noticeable if you don't bend down! We may take up carpet and replace pad after the holidays, but with the help of a fan-type plug-in deodorizer (also suggested by James), I think we can make it through all the holiday company that's about to descend upon us.

James arrived on time. When he arrived the electricity had gone off in the area but that didn't stop him, he had to clean the stairs by flashlight and still he did a good job. He was very exuberant and had a good attitude. I had more to do then what he and I had determined on the phone. He was going to charge me the quoted price anyway, but I let him know that it was more than what we had discussed so it cost about $30 for the extra cleaning which was very reasonable and fair. I would use him again. I just moved to Oregon from the East Coast and I was concerned because he only had about 9 feedbacks on Angie's list but he was half the price of other carpet cleaners and he could come sooner than some of the other people. Also, I asked him about using a sealant and although he could have made extra money on spraying a coating he didn't recommend it for what I have in my house.

He took care of the necessary treatments, and was informative and helpful in his approach to the cleaning job. Not only did he charge exactly what he said he would, but he returned two times to re-treat carpet stains and pet odors. He provided me with extra stain remover and pet odor treatment fluids at no extra charge. All together, James provided an ''over-the-top,'' ''going the extra mile,'' service, with a cheerful attitude! We would unconditionally recommend his services, and will use him again.

James gave me an estimate over the phone & we set up a date/time. He arrived when he said he would. Explained options on cleaning couch & carpet. Gave recommendation on cleaning, which I approved. Warned me before spraying carpet with cleaner so I could keep our dog off. He was concerned that if she licked the cleaner off her paws she might get sick. I very much appreciated the warning as I had not thought of that. He was very professional but friendly & did not push me to buy additional services. Would hire him again in a heart beat.
