Top Notch Carpet Cleaning

Awesome service. The thing I liked the best about his service is that he made it easy. I called, we talked price, we talked date and time and that was it. Job was done on time, per the terms and nothing else was needed to be dicussed. No extra charges, no extra explaining this or that, he was just on top of it 100%. Will use him again.

This is the second time I've hired Top Notch Carpet Cleaning. As in the last time, he did an excellent job for a great price. I will hire him again. James let me know that prepping in advance will save time and cost less. I removed all light things from the rooms and created a clear path. He was able to complete the job in about two hours. The house was mostly dry by evening and dry enough to return items to their places next day.

James was fast, thorough and did a great job. We asked more of him than I had originally asked and the added price was very reasonable. We picked up all the furniture we wanted moved and small stuff so he had only to clean. He likes it that way and that is what we wanted too. He did a very nice job.

I called James to make an appointment and received his voice mail. I left a message of what I would like done and he called back with an estimate later that afternoon. I went ahead at that time and scheduled him to come in approximately 1 week later. He arrived within his estimated time. I showed him around and then he got to work. We had one room that was heavily soiled, but he said he had seen worse and seemed confident he could clean everything. When he left it all seemed good. By the next morning as the carpet dried I no longer felt that way. I had stains now where we did not have stains before and my stairs looked dirtier than before. I called James back the next day which was a weekend and left a message that I would like him to come back. He called on Monday and came back on Tuesday. Once again when he left all looked good. Until the next day. Once again, more new stains that weren't there before and the ones that he had tried to fix looked worse. At this point I decided I would have someone else come out and fix them. I called James up and asked him for my money back. He took my information and sent me a check for the full amount within a couple days. James is a very nice guy, but will not be using him again for carpet cleaning. I have since had someone else come out and redo the spots. Most of them are now gone, the ones that aren't are significantly better.

James arrived as scheduled, very efficiently cleaned the carpets. He was friendly and professional.

Owner/operator arrived on time and immediately began putting cleaning solution on the stains, especially the large coffee stain which precipitated the need to shampoo at all. He then brought in his heavy duty equipment and began shampooing. He instructed us on what to do until the carpet dried and how long it was expected to take to dry. He presented the bill and after receiving payment left. He was here an hour.

James arrived on time. He was cheerful, he worked hard, and he was careful. He finished about when he said he would.

It went superbly and I would recommend him to everyone. I had had some very bad experiences with carpet cleaners.I really can't tell you much but suffice it to say that because it went so well that I have little to say.

I called them on the Tuesday after Easter and they just happened to have a cancellation on that Friday. He went above and beyond the call of duty. My husband is very picky and he was not only pleased with the job, he said the carpet had not looked this good in a long time. He was very friendly, professional and did a great job. He charged us exactly what was advertised in the monthly magazine.

They were wonderful. They cleaned the carpets in my living room, dining room, hallway and 2 bedrooms. I have no complaints at all. The staff that came was very nice. The quality of work they did was excellent. They were very professional and did a great job. They told me everything that I had to do.

He(James Marsh, owner)arrived on time. Good entrance & greeting, estimated work to be done. Gave quote. Accepted. Immediately went to work. Warned me ahead of time he did not move large furniture. Cleaned all in 1 & 1/3 hour.

I called Top Notch after reading good reviews on Angie's List. The owner was able to fit me in the next day. He was on-time, extremely friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. He made sure to ask about the type of rug I have to make sure he could clean it safely. The price was more than reasonable. I've had my rug cleaned numerous times and it has never looked this good. Outstanding!

I did some research on Angie's List and we chose Top Notch. They were very reasonably priced- cheaper than the competitors. He did a very good job and was unobtrusive. I am quite happy with the way the carpet looks. It was clear that he took pride in having a good rating on Angie's List.

I called and spoke to James immediately. He gave me a quote over the phone of $180 for the areas I'd like cleaned. He said he'd never go over the verbal estimate, but sometimes charges less once he sees the spaces. I wanted my carpets cleaned 2 days later and he was able to fit me in his schedule. He arrived on time and didn't charge more when I asked him to use environmentally friendly cleaners. He said they may not work as well, but I still chose them...and glad I did since there was absolutely no odor in my house when he finished and my carpets look great. It took him 2 hrs. and upon leaving he told me that if there were any areas I was unsatisfied with once dry, to call him and he'd come back free of charge to clean them again. We will absolutely utilize his services in the future.

It was great, he was very professional (and my dog LOVED him!) and went straight to work. He was concerned about his hoses getting our carpet dirty, so he ran them through a window instead. He spent a bunch of time trying to get the smell out, and cleaned the other surfaces of the sofa as well. He warned me that the smell might not come all the way out, but that he would be happy to come back and fix whatever hadn't worked. He was very nice and polite. Also when I told him it was urgent, he arranged to come the next morning. He showed up late, but called to tell me that he was going to be late, so that was fine.

My wife has been wanting to get the carpets cleaned. I had a day off and started to head for the yellow pages and then I remembered "Angie's list". I reviewed several of the businesses ratings and I called James based upon his Angie's list profile. We were able to schedule for the next day. My wife was concerned because the estimate was so reasonable and that there were so many A ratings on Angie's list. Too good to be true? All of the A ratings are deserved. James was timely, conscientious and had good equipment. We got a great start on 2009 with carpet that looks new! James did a great job and made me a hero. Thanks James and Angie's list.

It was a GREAT experience, especially as compared to my last one with a smooth-talking guy who had a booth at a home show(must not get referrals). Anyway, Top Notch lives up to it's name! Nice guy too. He gave us a choice of "green" cleaners or regular, saying the regular might work better. We choose the green cleaners and were perfectly satisfied. BTW, we had our carpets cleaned in order to sell our house, and it sold in 2 days for full price! 'Nuff said!

We will most definitely hire this young man and his company again. He was the perfect service provider: arrived on time, surveyed the job, estimated the time and cost (we added an extra room) and went to work. He then wrapped things up and was on his way. We would highly recommend him and have another job for him in mind!

Called up the company and he could come over the next day. Came over and finished the job quickly (1.5 hours) far faster than we could have done ourselves and gave us a guarantee if any of the stains came back, he would re-clean the carpet for free. The carpet looked excellent when he was done. Would use again and again.

He was punctual, courteous. He did the best cleaning job on my carpets. I've had them cleaned 4 other times and he was the best. He got all the spots out.

Through his hard work, that carpet was cleaned as well as it could be. The spots are stains, but are now not objectionable.

James came to our home and made our floors look new again. It's been 2 years with 4 little people running a muck on those carpets. There were toothpaste spills, maple syrup spills, vomit, marker, you name it on those carpets. He took his time and got the spots out. In the past all of the other companies have given me a quote and took one look at my carpets and would tell me that it would take more solution to get out the stains. Yet James said he could get them out and if any of them came back just give him a call and he'd come out for free.

He was able to remove most of the stains that have been there for years. My carpets look like new! Very professional service. I will use him again and refer him to my friends and family.

They were great. They showed up on time & did good work. They were extremely friendly. They didn't leave a mess around my home during and after the service job.
