Excellent service - quick - professional. Not to mention a great guy.

I found them on Angie's List. He was polite and honest. There were some marks on the carpets and he told me that they had used something too strong and there was nothing he could do about it. There was one carpet that was really dirty in one room. He cleaned it first and let it dry while he cleaned other carpets. Then he went back a second time and re-cleaned it and finished the rest of the house. He tried cleaning it for a third time with the strongest cleaner that he had. It didn't come clean and he didn't charge me for the room because he felt bad about it. I saw him try all three times and there are no hard feelings there. He did everything that he could. There were no complications with them and everything is looking absolutely fine. We are selling the house and he is going to be the one to clean the carpets there.

Arrived on time. Was very friendly. Did an awesome job cleaning all our carpet and getting all the spots out. The carpet looks great! I will definitely use this company for all our carpet cleaning in the future.

James from Top Notch showed up right on time. He cleaned a bedroom carpet that smelled like dog. It smells great now. The dog smell is totally gone. He also cleaned a family room carpet that was really dirty and stained. All the stains are gone and the room looks awesome! Last but not least, he cleaned a white chair that is the favorite of one of the dogs. I cannot believe how good it looks! I will definetly call Top Notch when my carpets need their next cleaning.

James Marsh was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process of having our carpets and upholstery cleaned. He responded to telephone enquiries immediately - I never had to call him back or even leave a message. After discussing the work to be done, we set a date for within a week. James showed up bang on time, and got stuck into his work immediately. Some of our furniture is heavy and difficult to move, but what pieces we were unable to move ahead of time, he moved himself - quickly and without complaint. Although James worked quickly, he was extremely thorough, and made what I thought would be an ordeal seem like cocktail hour. He was so relaxed and personable - a super nice guy. And he made it all so easy as he worked from room to room, very organized, very professional, and without even freaking out the cats. The reason we had called him in the first place was that, with seven rescue cats domiciled in our house, our carpets and sofas had over time become badly stained with feline vomit, droolings, 'puddings' of unknown nature, and the occasional remains of small rodents. Not to mention urine stains and territorial spray. Not having had our carpets and upholstery cleaned for a shamefully long time, we did not really expect much of this to be successfully removed. But James performed an unexpected miracle. I still don't know how he managed to remove one especially egregious urine stain, which had actually discolored a sofa, and return this item back to its original state - and color; but he did. The cherry on the cake is that James wore the little booties in our house, keeping the floors from being tracked; and he also cleaned up thoroughly and moved all of the furniture back into place. We didn't have to lift a single arthritic finger. His price for all of the work he did was extremely reasonable, and we would welcome him back into our home any time.

Vendor was on time and professional. Did a good job on carpets (didn't move big furniture, but that was stated in Big Deal).

Jim was on time and simply cleaned our carpet like a pro. Everything was easy with Top-Notch, and the price was much less than we had been paying to get the same carpet cleaned.

This is the second time we've used Top Notch Carpet Cleaning. Jim is so thorough, efficient and professional. You can tell he really cares about his customers and wants to establish long term relations with them. The carpets were cleaned and deodorized. His machine picks up so much moisture the the carpets dry really quickly. We highly recommend Top Notch and will continue to use him year after year.

James worked me in at a time convenient to me, arrived on time, and started to work. I have a small house and do dog hospice, so the carpets were awful. It took him 3 hours, but he again worked a miracle and they looked great. The doggie odor was gone, and I could have guests again. Friends were amazed and pronounced him a miracle-worker. I don't know how he does it. He's always patient with me, kind to the dogs, and has a sense of humor too. It is amazing; he's honest, profession, great at what he does, and the best value around!

James gave us his usual prompt, punctual service. I think he does as good a job as anyone can, in our circumstances. The challenge with our job is always pet urine -- the past two times we have had carpet cleaning done, James has had to deal with 1) cat urine and 2) dog urine. He is candid about the impossibility of completely ridding the carpet of odor without lifting it from the floor, I had pre-treated the cat urine area with enzyme pet odor solution, and the dog urine area with enzyme pet odor solution and repeated applications of vinegar solutions. On this occasion, I asked James to give the cat urine area a thorough rinse. Last visit, he had used a sickeningly fragrant cleaning solution and despite numerous rinses since then, the odor has never completely dissipated. It is quite unpleasant. (He said he no longer uses that solution or fragrance.) This visit, he rinsed the old smelly area thoroughly. Now that it has dried I can still smell that perfumey fragrance but it is within tolerable bounds. (I think I will use a vinegar rinse on that area too -- can't hurt.) The dog urine area is noticeably improved. James suggested that we cut out that area of carpet and replace with tile. He also shared the fact that he has no carpet at all in his own home where he has numerous pets, which I thought was pretty amusing.

When we called James and explained the job, He quoted a set price of $ 180.00. When he arrived, on time, we asked him to also do two easy chairs which he agreed to do for $ 30.00 each. He spent about three hours cleaning everything. The results were great. Got rid of lots of spots and the carpets and chairs look great.

James showed up on time. Very pleasant and hard worker. Did a very good job except missed some places behind doors. If I had of noticed it before he left I'm sure he would have set back up and cleaned those areas. I will use him again next time. Great value for the work he did!

James deserves all the "A's" in the required report fields. I will definitely employ him again.

The carpets of the house we just purchased were heavily stained and smelled horribly of pet urine. Some areas of the cream colored carpet were almost black. James was able to get out almost all of the stains. The difference was remarkable and I was thrilled with the results. Unfortunately after a few days the pet urine odor came back so we have decided to go ahead and replace the carpets. This doesn't reflect poorly on James, he did an excellent job, it's just that we had a bigger problem on our hands than we thought. I would hire Top Notch again in a heart-beat. James was on time, professional, friendly, and great at what he does. His price was less than other competitors I looked into but he stands by the quality of his work. He will always be my first choice for carpet cleaning in the future.

The coupon deal was for a certain amount of sq feet - they did the family room and the stairs and threw in the upstairs hall. I was very happy with the work and I will hire them again.

They cleaned a 2200 sqft house. They were fabulous and did a marvelous job. They were reasonably priced and I loved their job. I will continue to use them in future.

Mr. Marsh, who cleaned the carpets, is the owner/operator of the company. He was very thorough, used a deodorant on the carpets with no extra charge, and gave us a very good price. Absolutely no complaints at all. Very pleased.

He did a good job the first time that we had him come back again. We spent $90 for the whole house this time and $150 the first time for the other because it is bigger. We thought that his pricing was very fair and very good. We called him on very short notice and his fan was actually in the shop because it was over a weekend, but he called back very promptly on a Saturday afternoon because his truck got done ahead of time, so he went straight out there on Sunday. He did a very good job and we were very surprised that they were able to get some of the stuff out of carpet.

James arrived exactly on time and made quick friends with our Yellow Labrador who was basically responsible for our needing a carpet cleaning. He did an excellent job of pre-treating and deodorizing the carpet. After thoroughly cleaning and extracting the moisture, he walked us through the house to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely be using this service again.

Great experience! I was fearful of having my upstairs carpet cleaned because it always seems to change the feel and attract more dirt. So I dragged my feet for several years until I finally felt I had to get it cleaned. James gave a super bid. Showed up as promised and took care to make sure that all of the hardwoods downstairs were protected from all the water and hoses. He was finished in about an hour and even cleaned the hall runner downstairs at no charge. One small snafu in the deal... my carpet is a different variety, very dense and it held some of the spot cleaner, even though it was only a small amount. Initially I was terrified as I saw the carpet telescope when it was drying... and becoming crispy. Yikes...I was worried that I was going to have to replace it. Decided to wait until the next day to judge. Sure enough everything dried and was flat...except it was still crispy feeling on my bare feet. I was really worried that he may want to charge to come back. I called James in a panic and he said he could come over that day...he suspected that he knew what the problem was. Since I had some company coming into town, I asked if he could wait a couple of weeks or so. When he came over he re-rinsed the entire carpet and stairs and explained that many carpets telescope as they're drying...but ultimately dry flat. Of course he was right on that, and the second rinse did the trick. The carpet looks brand new and feels exactly as it did when it was installed 15 years ago. It's been several months and still clean and doesn't seem to be attracting new dirt. Sometimes mistakes happen or you just can't judge a carpet's individual personality ... depending on how expensive or not...or the type of nap. James apologized, made good, no attitude except helpful and didn't charge for the second visit. I could have just written him off as a poor carpet cleaner and not called about the problem...or ever used him again. When companies "make it right" they've proven their customer comes first...and James did.

Top Notch arrived exactly on time. I walked him through the house describing what I wanted cleaned and where the problem areas were. He doubled checked the area rug material and clarified the possible risks for hot steam cleaning. I decided to go ahead and have him clean them lightly with only warm water. They turned out just great! The entire job took about an hour. Everything looks wonderful. I would definitely use them again.
