Top Notch Carpet Cleaning

James and Nick cleaned both a large carpet and stairs. They were friendly, called ahead and actually arrived earlier than had been mentioned at time of appointment which was great. They did a great job on both. There were numerous pet marking areas which were spot treated and the odor which was noticeable at times before, has been removed. I had originally just requested the large carpet to be done, but James just asked if I wanted to do the stairs, no hard sell, and I decided to go ahead for a fair extra charge. They moved a few pieces to complete all areas of the cleaning, and left them on sponge blocks so there would be no rust stains from the metal caps on the legs. After this experience, I would have no reason to use anyone else.

The owner was fast and efficient, cut me a deal on the stairs ("they're smaller") and left me some "booties" to keep the carpet clean if I needed to cross it before it was dry. The carpet looks brand new; it is nine years old, never been cleaned, and has had three kids, their friends and three to five pets on it at any one time, as well as multiple family get togethers. It looks great!

The cleaning went well and we would use them again (had we not moved). We were happy with the quality of their work, especially since we had some pet stains.

James arrive on time. He did an excellent job. The carpets are still beautiful and the pet orders are gone!

We had stains that had reoccured after our carpets were previously professionally cleaned. James got all of them out. We removed all furniture except beds, dressers, bookcases, and couches. James moved the couches back in place after cleaning under them. When he finished our hardwood floors were clean and dry. He didn't leave a mess and always wore shoe covers in our home. By the next morning our carpets were dry so we could put everything back. We'll use James' service again.

James and his son - unlike other carpet cleaners - adjusted his busy schedule to come over and take care of my challenged carpet. James also (unlike the competitor I had called) was able to inform me by phone as to an approximate price that it would cost me. He and his son were prompt, super friendly, speedy, informative - I got straight forward answers to my questions, and amazingly effective!!!!! My carpet did not look as clean as they got it when I moved into my house nearly a year ago. The prior owner had 2 cats and 3 dogs and there were stains from her animals (which I had cleaned before I moved in, however, they did not disappear and/or they returned) and my 2 dogs had had several accidents that I had cleaned up but stains remained. I can hardly believe what these 2 did to my carpet - all the stains are gone, it smells fresh, and no stains have returned. I find them and their work magical. His card is on my frig and I am delighted to have James as a significant resource for my home.

The service went great. They did exactly what the deal stated. They cleaned bedrooms and a living room area. The technicians did a nice job and got the carpets cleaned. Two people came out for the service and I no difficulties with scheduling.

James called the morning on the appointment to confirm the time, and then he and his son showed up right on time. They were only on site about one hour, and did an excellent job. James and his son were very friendly, professional and obvioulsy knew what they were doing.We are very pleased with the job, and will definetely use them again in the future - as needed.

Carpet looks and smells great. We had short deadline and he changed his schedule to fit us in. He was on time and got right to work. Very friendly. Also, offered to come back free of charge for possible stain issues. Really appreciated this even though we didn't need that additional service. Price very reasonable.

We have had our carpet cleaned in the past by another reputable company with just OK results. Our carpeting is light beige in color; as a result, dirt and traffic patterns are very noticeable in certain areas. Previously, we saw only minor improvements We read reviews on Angie's list of several highly-rated companies and chose to go with James Marsh, owner of Top Notch Carpet Cleaning. He was responsive to our telephone calls, accommodating to our scheduling requirements, punctual, and--above all--did a fantastic job of cleaning our carpet. He was particularly attentive to those areas of heavy traffic problems. Bottom line, our carpet has not looked this nice for years. James did all the work himself. It is obvious that he takes pride in his work and certainly offers "Top Notch Carpet Cleaning". His price was reasonable. In the future, we intend to have him clean our carpet every year.

Great from start to finish.

Cleaning was very good, had a large stained spot that came up with no problems and the area rug was surprising in its return to normal. Cost was good, timeliness was fine, we have used James 2x before and will again in the future. Very satisfied with his work.

Did a good job; carpet had many little spots; he took some care with them and they came out. I had originally wanted to include Scotch-guard, but he doesn't use the branded product, so I wasn't sure. I Googled the one he does use and decided not to bother with it and that maybe I didn't need to put a treatment on it because while it helps prevent stains it also causes the carpet to get dirty faster.

They were wonderful. He was very good, very thorough, he always took my call. I think he has his cell phone so no matter when I called him, even when he was in the middle of another job he took my call. There was a special on Angies List. I think he did an excellent job, and he was right on time, he was very punctual. He did get the smell out of the carpet and he did exactly what he said he would do and he was always available. He has a bit of a speech impediment but let it worry you about that because he is very good at what he does. He was very communicative with me. I have actually recommended him to other people.

James did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets. He's prompt, professional and always does a great job getting the carpets clean! I use him for my personal home and refer him out to my clients as well?he's the only carpet cleaner I trust.

It was okay. I saw it on Angie's List and they had a special or something. There was some water and stuff left on my hardwood floor. It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty good.

James was fantastic. He showed up on time and was enthusiastic. He walked with me through the house so I could show him the areas of particular concern. We had just bought the home and wanted the carpets cleaned before moving in. The home has off-white carpet and shows dirt and stains easily. There were a number of large stains in the house and countless small ones. James worked wonders on the carpet and left it looking brand new. We were thrilled! James did such a great job, we had him clean the carpet in our rental home and will definitely use him for all of our carpet cleaning needs in the future.
