I have been using THE CLEANING AUTHORITY for 3+ years. They are great about the schedule should I ever need to change dates.. Erica, Tonya and Summer do excellent work whenever they clean my home. They are professional, courteous and their attention to detail is exceptional.... I love having the ladies come to my home, they NEVER disappoint me.

They would come and be done in an hour, I was suppose to get 2 hours, and sometimes they would have 2 people out, they might work 45 minutes. When I complained they told me that it was like getting 2 hours because I got 2 people. Eventually I just stopped using them. Price was really competitive. They were very professional when they were here.

They lady that first came interest me, maybe it was her business...I don't know. She has other young girls come to work. She didn't...she just came a little bit to supervise and then left. I wasn't impressed with their work. They were very professional, very nice, ?the girls were very nice but, I don't know...she was in my bathroom for about an hour and I thought wow when she come out of my bathroom it's going to be...it was like the same; I saw no difference. I was like what was she doing in here? There would have been a second appointment, I guess to...and then maybe ongoing; but I stopped because I wasn't thrilled. I saw no difference. I don't want to pay for anything I saw no difference. It's the quality, that's what I'm talking about.

They performed very professionally.

Well. Trust their teams to come in my house when I am not home. Have had a couple of nic nacs broken, but they respond with apologies and credit my account for the value with no issue. Accidents happen.

Reliable thoroughness, although some weeks are shockingly great, while others are only ok.

Great! They are awesome. I have been using them for many years and have been very happy with them. I used to have every other week service but sadly had to cut down to once a month.

Consistently bad. This company uses a rotating team, with each team specializing in one deep clean area. The initial two cleanings were impressive, and then the team approach began. This is where we ran into issues, like whole areas being left uncleaned, lights consistently left burning, garage door left up when they left, front door left unlocked when they left, furniture and furnishings left in consistent disarray, etc. Each complaint was met with scorn and always an excuse was given, rather than a simple: "okay, I'll let that team know, and we'll work on it."

Not great? For a deep clean, they completely missed most window sills (there were still bugs on them). And they completely scratched all of our sinks. While I appreciated their desire to clean the sinks thoroughly, clearly they used abrasive chemicals or tools which they failed to mention on the initial visit. I will say, that they did fix all of the sinks that they could and replaced the last sink that was not fixable with no cost to us. It was a hassle and they did not once call me about the issues (everything was handled by email). With this experience my main complaints are 1) if your staff make a mistake, let the homeowner know rather than hope they don't find it, and 2) If there is a significant problem, while email is convenient, it is nice to actually talk to someone and apologize. I would never recommend nor use this service ever again.

For very basic cleaning they are ok. they do not do what is detailed in their plan. The corners are often left unswept. Several times the door to our house was left unlocked. The main problem is the cleaners are made to clean as fast as possible, its typically two people and they do my small house in less than an hour.

Where I was frustrated is that I have had housekeepers for 10 years. I figured I'd give them a try. In the very beginning they came in and did a very good job, they were starting off with a great note. Half way through the time that I used them I started noticing mold in my shower. I should not have mold in my shower, if you get cleanings every other week. On the weeks that they didn't, I didn't clean the shower. I just let be. How am I getting mold in my shower? I called and complained and they sent someone out and they sprayed it down with a bleach spray bottle. I thought they were watching it after a while, but after a while, how am I having mold in my shower? It just seemed like any complaint I did they just sent another bottle out. That's not what the point was, I need you guys to watch this on a regular basis now that mold formed. I've had house keepers for 10 years and this never happened until your watch. When I called to let them go, I got the automated service, left the information and never did get a call back saying how can we win your service. Everything was, "well I can send a bottle of bleach out." Okay you're fired that's great. Well I guess I meant a lot to you guys there. It was a little disappointing. It was funny when they increased my rates, all the sudden I didn't get a notice and they leave a note every other week saying what was cleaned. Never did they say anything that my rates were going up. They just sent an email. If you are going to raise rates, make sure you actually get a hold of that person and let them know. All they said was that my check was below the amount, and I was like whoa! I wouldn't rate them very highly. I am glad I am away from them. The teams that came out were always very professional.

Very well. People always arrived prompting, cleaned and left the place spotless. I hired them before I had double knee replacements. We cancelled their service because we are both retired now and can clean our own house. Miss them though!

We have been very pleased with their services. They arrive on time and do a very thorough job.

Well done; clean neat polite helpful. They use rotating 'focus areas'. EG/ every 4th visit they work very h****** kitchen counters, oven, microwave and stove. PLEASE NOTE THE CLEANING AUTHORITY IS A FRANCHISE. THE ONE THAT SERVICES ME IS IN WOODBURN OR. I LIVE IN LAKE OSWEGO OR I PRESUME VANCOUVER IS A DIFFERENT FRANCHISE

I would not use there services, I had to have them come back at two different times to repeat cleaning what they were to have cleaned in the first place. I used there service for approximately two months, and I had to be at home to make sure they competed the jobs that were asked of them. One visit I had another appointment and could not be at home, my husband would be there, When I returned they had been paid and had left our home ,I couldn't believe what they had not cleaned the dusting had not been done nor the floors and they were two of the things that were asked that they clean each visit.

It started off rocky, but I kept with them for three months. In the interview, I asked them not to wear shoes in my house. On the first visit I returned and noticed they all had their shoes on. I wrote a note for the next visit. On their second visit they didn't show up at all. After I called, I got someone in Maryland who took a message. I got a call back later and was told that they got a flat tire. (Very possible) I mentioned that it would be nice if they run into trouble to let me know that they weren't going to be able to make it. I also told them again not to wear shoes in my home. On their next visit, yes - shoes again. So I started to think there was a problem with communication between their management and the team that came out to my house, I left a note to take off their shoes and they did. In general the cleaning was acceptable, but not outstanding. I have had cleaners that were less expensive, but I was hoping that with the larger company I would have some better consistency, but I ended up getting less. I used them for three months, and wanted it to work out, more because I dislike shopping around for cleaners and as I said the cleaning was acceptable. They work on a schedule where they do a "deeper" clean in different areas of the house every three visits. I let a few things go when it wasn't that areas deep clean (bathroom sink faucet not cleaned, dust on the floor, beds not made, put garbage bag in wrong). The third strike for me came on a kitchen deep-clean day and it was obvious that the countertops were wiped, but not cleaned. Some oil that splattered from breakfast eggs was smeared all over the countertop. Not what I call "deep-clean". To be honest there were times when the cleaning was fine. However, it was like there were three or four different crews that would come out and not talk with each other. One crew would do well, but the next few times level of cleanliness would suffer. I just didn't want to have to wonder if I would get lucky and get the good crew this time.

Each time, my house is left sparkling. The company is very responsive when i have had to reschedule or rearrange around my schedule. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We are very pleased with the cleaning.

The first cleaning was excellent, but after that, the quality wasn't nearly as good. Most of the time I didn't do anything about it because I was extremely busy, unless it was really obvious stuff. In the instances where I did call, they did fix the issue, either by cleaning again or not charging for a cleaning, etc. , were responsive, and nearly always returned calls within 24 hours. They broke the shower door retainers in each bathroom twice (four in all)! But fixing this sort of thing is not in their contract, so they don't do anything about it. I'm guessing they are probably as good as their competition.

used them for nearly two years to do monthly house cleaning. I got disappointed a few times and decided to try other companies. To my surprise, their overall quality, professionalism, and pricing ended up comparing better than most others. - I found some of the other companies were resting on their previously earned reputations, but getting too large or focused on money and ratings instead of service.

excellent cleaning service. best we have tried. I think we fund a long-term service for our home.

We have been working with this franchise of the cleaning authority for almost a year. They have been doing a fantastic job! Most of the time the same two women come. They know our home and take good care of things. We had one small picture frame get broken and the person who broke it left a note on the table with the broken frame and clear instructions about how to go about getting reimbursed for it. It was handled professionally and quickly. That was MONTHS ago and we haven't had anything broken since. We suspended service when we were out of town and they were happy to accommodate us. We are often home when they arrive and as we leave they are friendly and are working quickly. They rotate areas of deep cleaning so I always feel that they keep out house very clean. The showers sparkle like never before and they evenchange the sheets on our bed when we leave folded clean sheets on it. I love that our home doesn't smell like chemicals when we come home on cleaning day. It smells fresh and clean. We are very happy with their service both in person and over the phone. They have been a joy to work with.
