Talbot Remodeling

Based on the references I called, I selected Talbot to do our kitchen remodel, even though his bid was the highest. In fact, the references that I called said that he was their highest bid also, but the quality of the work was worth it. And they have had him do multiple jobs for them. The kitchen remodel came in on budget and on time, which I understand is rare. All through the process, Tom Talbot fussed about the details. Everything had to be perfect. The subcontractors had the same attitude about perfection, because they wanted to keep his business. The result was a beautiful kitchen, of the highest quality workmanship. We couldn't be happier. So we decided to remodel the bathrooms, and never once thought about seeking bids. We called Tom, because we knew the job would be done right. We are half-way through and can see the desire for perfection in everyone who has been here.

Awesome job. Took care of us the entire time. Cost came in as promised and he finished two weeks earlier than he said.

They quote was outrageous and did not stay with in the numbers we asked for. The quote was not broken down like he said he would. We were not satisfied in the way they said they would. They were on time. I would not use them in the future.

He was very responsive. I spent $75000 on that work. He was excellent. He showed up every day to monitor the work. He was very upset when things were not quite upto his standards and did everything to make it right. Overall he did a great job.

They were great. They were on time, organized, and very professional.

We chose not to do the work with them because their estimate was high. It seemed to be more based on what we could pay instead of what the job would require.

He has done a very large list of work for me. He is very prompt and detailed. If he says that he will be out at a certain time he is always out or right on the phone to change the time. He is very meticulous about his work. He always does the work right the first time. I have been very pleased with the work that he has come out to do. I think that he is a little bit higher than other companies, however I do not mind because I know that I am paying for the quality work.

WITHOUT THEIR HELP, WE MIGHT HAVE GONE A HEAD AND DONE THE WORK INCORRECTLY, ONLY TO BE REQUIRED TO FIX OUR LEAD PROBLEM AND RE-DO THE WORK AGAIN. THEY WERE VERY THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY DELAYED, AND RISKED CANCELLATION OF, A MUCH LARGER PROJECT TO MAKE SURE WE WERE MEETING ALL OUR REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. THEIR APPROACH PROBABLY SAVED US A LOT OF HEADACHE DOWN THE ROAD.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS NICE, THE PEOPLE WERE PROS. THEY HAD THE OLD FLOOR OUT IN A FLASH AND WERE WELL ON THEIR WAY TO HAVING THE TILE DONE THE SAME DAY. GREAT WORK !!
