They told me upfront the work would take most of the day, which I appreciated knowing so I could plan to be there all day (with projects to do instead of hanging around wasting time). Victor showed up right on time and immediately went to work. He put down blankets and plastic to protect other items in the bathroom. When the job was done he covered how to take care of the new tub and when we could use it again. Additionally, he said to call if there were any problems. After letting the new surface dry, I found a couple rough spots. When I called the store, they were more than happy to come out the next day and make the tub exactly how I wanted it (I tend to be very detail oriented). Reuben came out the next day and took care of the problem and was very happy to do the work. I am very pleased with the work and enjoyed their excellent service. I will be using them again in the near future to re-finish my bathroom sinks and have already recommended them to my friends.

They were amazing! Their company representative called back promptly, they were extremely polite and honest about the scheduling. They even called a few days prior because they had an opening in their schedule and wanted to offer that to us! They called to confirm the day before, arrived promptly on time. The workers were polite and jovial. They were very respectful of our animals (which we put away due to the fumes), and kept the exterior doors closed as long as they could. During the process their supervisor stopped by to see how the process was going, and seemed very grateful for our business. They called the next day to schedule a visit to replace the grout and rehang the bathroom door. They were great about dealing with our schedules (we work nights), and were prompt. The tub looks BEAUTIFUL. They did a great job, it looks like it has never been used! I would refer anyone to use them. I heard about them through a friend, and intend to pass along the favor!

I was totally pleased with the work. They worked me into their schedule to accommodate my spring break and honored a $25 Angie's List coupon. The technician was on time, experienced and made sure that all surfaces (new tile and new granite counter tops) were protected. The areas which were patched are almost impossible to detect and the finish is beautiful.

They did a nice job. There was more work than anyone would have guessed and they still did the work without charging us a lot more.

This was a great experience. Jose is extremely careful and quite the craftsman. He was on time and ensured that my concerns were addressed. He carefully explained what he was going to do, and then did it. Although the resurfacing material was very stinky, the smell left after a day. Either way, the tub is now glossy and shiny and considering the other contractors we have hired for other jobs around the house, I will say this was the best company we've worked with to-date. I am happy to recommend Stanley Avenue Tub Co.

Jose the employee was on time. Had already come in a couple of weeks ahead to assess feasibility of project. Very nice and polite. Magnificent work done on tub. Like new. Only issue is the smell after word. Wish had been given information on effects (e.g. with infant in house) and safety of staying in the house.

We were satisfied with the work. The tub looks great and the person who did the work was careful and pleasant to have in our home. At first I thought the job was over priced. When I saw how long it took I could better understand the cost. He gave good advice about removing the drain from an old tub and the plumbing problems that might possibly occur. This information influenced our decision about replacement. The person doing our work was experienced and the clean up was immaculate. I appreciated that the company followed up with a call to see if we were satisfied with the work. They were customer oriented and I would recommend them. The tub looks fabulous and he did a nice job re-caulking. They were on time, professional and I would recommend their work.

The work was very nice. They were prompt, very accommodating and professional. They have a service oriented business ethic and all my conversations with them over the phone have been extremely pleasant.

They came promptly and were polite and careful. After the two workers left I noticed some pooling of the finish; thicker in some areas then in others. I phoned the office and they had a second person come out several days later (they would have come sooner but it did not work with my schedule). This person listened to my concerns carefully, attempted to sand the surface smooth, then had his supervisor come to evaluate the tub. They ended up refinishing the whole tub again and explained why the pooling may have occurred. The final outcome is very nice. The tub looks great!

Ruben is a master at his craft. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable ad he gave me the best deal in town. I don't usually write reviews for companies but this one deserves it. I will recommend and I will be back if I need any other work done.

The company was exceptional. They quickly scheduled an appointment, came when they said they would and performed the service they said they would. Our tub looks like new. We are very pleased with the end results.

Good. The tech came out as scheduled but told me he could not fix the tub until I had the leaky faucet repaired as the water would damage the surfacing. I rescheduled for three days later after a plumber repaired the fixture. The process took a day and a half. The technician was helpful and courteous. The tub looks great. My quote was $500 but they gave me $25 off with the Angie's List coupon.

Timely, excellent quality and service.

They were on time, quick, the job looks beautiful and they helped me work out a problem with the drain and stopper pieces. The ones in the tub were nicked and rusted but they were solid brass and old enough that finding a true replacement was going to be hard. I feared that I might have to hold off on the whole project until I could figure out what to do about this drain piece. They managed to remove the piece -- not an easy task -- and told me about a place that would re-plate it. The re-plating folks did a great job so now I'm able to have the original brass fixture back in the tub where it fits perfectly and works great. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about refinishing a tub.

THE REFINISHER WAS METICULOUS AND A VERY HARD WORKER. OVERALL VERY SATISFIED, THOUGH WE WEREN'T PREPARED FOR THE STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR THAT LASTED SEVERAL DAYS.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAD A GOOD TWO WEEK TURN AROUND TIME. THEY HELPED UNLOAD THE TUB AND THEY PROMISED TO HAVE IT DONE WHEN THEY SAID.
