Overall everything went very well from start to finish from the energy audit to the installation of the ductwork and the insulation. We also received help with the rebates from energy trust and from state and federal taxes.

Revial Energy had a special listed as : Spray foam insulation, energy audit, etc for $149.00 dollars, which was regularly priced at $500 dollars. I purchased the package because I needed spray foam insualation. They came up on the search for "insulation" as highly rated. After I purchased the package, I was told that it was for an energy audit only. I explained that I just needed spray insulation in my attic, but was told they had to do an energy audit. To their credit, they made an appoitment, but were confused with the address and I did not call them back. I feel very deceived, however, I have been told that they are a great company. I should have read the special perhaps more carefully. It leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth that I paid for insulation and receieved no service.

Ben came out to perform the energy audit including blower door test and infrared camera evaluation. He was able to explain the results and answer my questions using a comprehensive report and infrared pictures showing areas of heat loss. The teams that performed the attic sealing and duct replacement were prompt, efficient, and respectful of my home and contents. I felt comfortable having them here over the three days. They took extra steps to ensure a complete job, even added an additional door with weather stripping to an existing crawl space door on a closet wall. Once work was complete, Revival took care of filling out and submitting all necessary rebate forms to the Oregon Energy Trust. I received the complete rebate (more than expected) several weeks later. I am very please with the final results and the improvement it has made in the comfort level in my home. My sister will be having Revival do similar improvements next week.

Too long ago to remember! A team of two individuals arrived promptly at the scheduled time, explained the process and what they required from us, and set off to take measurements inside and outside the house, do a blower test to see where air flowed, and provided suggestions on how to make improvements. They both acted very professionally and were very friendly and helpful.

A pleasant gentleman came out & felt there was too much asbestos tape on our ducts to perform the full procedure. Nothing was done & our money was refunded.

I had Revival out to do the energy audit and found I definitely had leaks(knew I did have some) They did whole house and over winter I noticed heat went on less(house stayed warmer longer). also as of this summer/fall which has been very warm keeps cool air for a much greater period of time. In short electric bills are reflecting these changes. Also a super company to deal with, very professional and hardworking. Was worth the money spent.

Robert was very nice and professional. He gave us awesome insight as to what our home needed and ALL of the options available to correct the issues. I can't recommend them enough. They do a fantastic job and I actually learned a lot.

The representative answered all my questions, which I had a lot of. He even gave me a couple pieces of advice for small things I could easily do myself to improve performance of my water heater and HVAC. They provided me information on what improvements I could make that would be likely to result in the biggest energy savings. It was all plugged into a piece of software that gave reasonably analytical results. I had no equipment problems, so the recommendations were mostly different levels of insulation and air sealing in the basement, main house, and the attic. I had done some research before they came and it all made sense. They provided me estimates for several packages for doing the work which seemed pretty reasonable based on the projected savings. The only thing I would have done differently in hindsight is to wait until I had lived here for a full year so I would have a full year of electricity and gas bills to be sure his savings estimates were accurate. I was very satisfied and would highly recommend their services.

I had Revival Energy perform work in my home and I couldn?t be more pleased with the result. Initially, a technician from Revival came out to my home to perform an energy audit. The energy audit was an interesting process and brought many issue to my attention that I had not really considered previously. http://www.revivalenergygroup.com/home-comfort-assessment After the energy audit was complete, the technician presented me with a very clean and easy to understand report outlining what work Revival recommended to do on the house as well has a price break-down for each item. When I selected the work that I wanted done, Revival was able to schedule the work quickly. My wife was home during the work was being done and was very impressed with the crew of people that did the work. Revival got all of the work done in a short amount of time and the work that they did is very well done, not to mention that they cleaned up after themselves very well, and on a daily basis. I have an early 80?s ranch home, there was not much insulation and the house was miserable on hot days and we had electric wall heaters that ran almost all winter long. I had Revival add attic and floor insulation as well as perform air sealing around the house, add more roof ventilation and install a ductless heat pump. The difference inside the house is amazing. The house temperature has been very stable and comfortable, even in the hot weather. The inside temperature is so comfortable that the heat pump has had little work to do. I am very happy that I chose Revival Energy to do the work, this is a solid company with good communication and great employees.

I looked on Angie's list, contacted Revival by email. We were put on the schedule almost immediately, and then I bought the Angie's list coupon. We worked with Susan Scott in the front office over email, who was quite helpful in understanding the process. Ben Fish came out and performed the audit (took about an hour for a ~2000 sq. ft. home). We looked at the infrared pictures of the house under load to see where gaps existed in the walls and joints of the home. The proposal prepared had three different levels of remediation for making our home more energy efficient. Ben was very good at explaining the benefits. And even though the energy software gave a "best" option, Ben pointed out the dollar for dollar reasons why the "better" option made the most sense energy-wise. A few months later (September) we contracted the work to be done (not done yet), including sealing our heating/cooling ductwork, installing bathroom fans, sealing gaps in our attic space and blowing in insulation to bring us up to code.

Both gentlemen were very personable and professional. They took the time to explain (in layman's terms) what steps we needed to take in order to get the house properly insulated, and also where the insulation would be most effective, and what sort of insulation to use. They were both courteous and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again for any other home energy efficiency inquiries.

He did an energy audit on our 1960's ranch style house.He examined everything from the doors and windows sealing ability to the furnace and air conditioning units, gas water heater and dryer and from the attic to crawl space. Extremely thorough and helpful by completely explaining the what, why, and wheres of the process. He did a draw down test to check the ventilation systems performance and checked all interior walls, corners, ceiling and floor for heat and cooling loss with an infrared camera and equipment. After a very thorough calculating process, He broke down into different categories , our options to remedy the situations that exist. Gave us various optional quotes depending entirely on what we may decide to have done. Explained the most value options, along with the most healthful options. We were very pleased with the process, professionalism, honesty and his straight forwardness. We would definitely use them again and probably will.

Excellent. The technician worked independently and quickly, was unobtrusive and put most things back the way they were found. I received a detailed report on my house and my questions were answered thoroughly.

EXCEPTIONAL! I was extremely impressed with the depth of the audit and the subsequent report, all as part of an Angie's List "Big Deal". The analysis, clearly explained to me, provided a number of energy efficiency improvement alternatives data-driven (incuding thermal imaging).

He was phenomenal. I can not say enough nice things. He spent at least two hours with me explaining and showing me what was going on. He took his time and showed me what I did and did not need. He was considerate to what I could afford. I it was wonderful experience. I intend to go to them for all my energy improvements and will recommend them to all my friend. It was very comforting and my trust level is very with him and the company.

I had a pleasant conversation, explaining what I was looking for. Jim indicated that I probably was not looking for his firm's services but offered to provide information if I wished. It was a pleasure to speak with someone who is honest and interested in providing fair response instead of selling something I did not need.

They completed all of the paperwork beforehand. They cleaned up everything very well afterwards, and they did such a great job with the audit. Ultimately, because of what they found, I was able to stop allergy shots for dust mites, and my energy bill went down as well. I would highly, highly recommend them! I’m a single female home-owner, and I was treated exactly the way I want to be treated.

Revival Energy LLC was perfect. Their price, quality, and professionalism are great. Their team came out in the morning, discussed what they planned to do to the house in detail, then the 4 members of the team spread out around the house, in the attic, basement, inside and sealed up all air leakage points reported by the infrared scanner photos with foam, tapes, flaps, etc. They worked diligently, all day, then in the afternoon, performed another blower test on the house, yielding results that very closely matched the target "safe" level of house sealing that Robert's tests had indicated. The guys did a great job - above and beyond the call of duty. I was pleased at how much interest they took in sealing things up so thoroughly, and the look of victory during the final blower test said it all - grins all around.

Robert came to our house to do the energy audit. He was thorough, able to answer all my questions, and was highly professional. He didn't scare us into needing any work done right away, but just offered suggestions on how we could save some money. He actually made that very clear.... this company does offer a proposal for work with the report they provide from the audit, but he wanted to make sure we knew, this is all suggestions. We will most likely get some of the work done they suggested and will be calling them to do the work.

I hand an energy audit done on my 100 year old home by Revival Energy Group, and then had the improvement work done that was recommended by them. I ended up spending about $12,000, and am happy for every single penny I spent. Each and every one of the team members was absolutely fantastic to work with. My house is old and delicate, so I am always slightly worried when having work done, but these guys took as much care and caution as they would if it were their own home. I can?t speak highly enough of them, and truly wish they provide more services so that I could work with them again. Jim was the first person I was in contact with, and he talked me through the scheduling, and the process. Throughout having the work done he was the person I could always go to ask questions, and always got a response very quickly if leaving a message. I had already scheduled to have a new heat and AC system installed, but before my scheduled date, my 20+ year old forced air heat stopped working. Jim and team shifted schedules around so that they could start work on my house right away, and get me heat again. Jim was always so pleasant to talk with, and helped me through the payment options as well. Ben is the analyst who performed the energy audit. He showed up on time, with a smile, and willingness to let me tag along, and watch all he was doing throughout the home. He was knowledgeable, and helpful in giving me information to understand my home better. He used a thermal camera, and showed me all the different spots in the house where insulation had sagged, there was no insulation at all, or there were big gaps where air was leaking. In the end, it turned out that I had the equivalent of a 17in by 17in window open due to all the leaks. He recommended a total home sealing which would fix all of these gaps, as well as a new heat pump to replace my baseboard heaters and forced air heat which was working as efficiently as a giant hair dryer; no wonder I had electric bills around $350! He also showed me where my energy money was going throughout the house, and how the energy updates could help. Financing the improvement would be about $100 a month, but it would save me about $90 a month, so it was a no brainer to have the work done. In addition, he worked with me to design the duct work and vents so that it flowed nicely with the shape and space in my home. Robert was my contact while the work was going on. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and I had absolutely no qualms about handing him my house key to get the work done while I was at work. Given his background in home improvement, he was extremely helpful in bouncing ideas off of for all things energy related, as well as some other miscellaneous questions I had about my home. He was present for the electrical inspection, and made sure everything worked smoothly. He worked with me on the type of bathroom fan I wanted, upgraded my thermostat, and gave me many good tips on how to keep the house comfortable, and be the most efficient with the heat settings. He made sure every detail was covered with quality work. He even filled out my rebate paperwork so I can get rebates for the energy improvements. Meng, Kurt and the rest of the team were always professional and courteous when I was around. They carefully cut through the layers of lath and plaster ceiling, and original hard wood floors to avoid damage to the old house. They cleaned up every bit of dust when finished, and I am pretty certain my house was cleaner when they left than when they started! The vents blend nicely with surfaces they are on, so they don?t stand out or look out of place. I know they have a dirty job sealing up all the leaks in the house, basement, and attic, but it is very much appreciated! I am sure I am missing some of the details, but all in all, they were just fantastic to work with, and did an excellent job on my home! I am not really good about writing reviews, and when I do, they are usually pretty short, but I felt these guys deserved my time and focus because they gave me so much. My electric bill before the work was $350, and my last bill after having the work done was $99. I am also so much more comfortable in my home. Thank you guys!
