They guy who did the inspection was very professional. When I had the work done, they were here for two hours and seemed efficient. I can see the vents that they installed in the exterior of the roof, but until someone gets up there to look at it I wouldn't know how the work turned out.

Great. The report was very thorough and helped us make decisions moving forward with home improvement.

This was the second time they came back. Since then, there have been no further problems. I think this second time around they addressed the problem fully. We were not charged for this visit. The man that came was a senior member of the team. He knew something about the experience level of the man that did the work the first time. He admitted that it was a very complicated process. He said the guy was good and was learning, but did not have quite enough experience to do that job right the first time. He just wasn?t experienced enough to fix the job completely that time.

We had a bit of a problem and that's why they came back. We were having some condensation issues. They came and did an analysis of the problem. They decided we needed some additional ventilation work and insulation in the attic. However, after they left, we continued to have problems with the condensation and we had to have them back. Clearly this first time, they didn't do everything they should've done. They were very personable people on site. They were very easy to work with. Because of the nature of what they did, they had to get into the attic and climb on the roof. They were here for some time. They did some extensive work. All of that time, they had 2-3 employees that were here. They were all fine and we had a good rapport with them. When they were here on site, everything was fine. We didn't realize there was a problem until they had left and we had a recurrence of the issue.

The bad air in that room has been a problem since I moved into the house and it has been hard to diagnose the problem. I am very grateful to Jim and Robert for their perseverance in figuring out how to approach this. The solution proved to be adding both the HRV and new thermostat, as well as adjusting the heat ducting. Now the air quality is very much improved and the heat is balanced throughout the house, where before it was either too hot or too cold upstairs. Robert is indeed a heating expert who also provided excellent tips for efficient operation of my furnace.

Ben is an incredible communicator! He broke down some of the more complex heating and energy concepts by using a familiar 'every day' analogy that I could understand. NEVER ONCE did he try to 'sell' me on ANYTHING, he gave me a TON of information not just about the issues my home has but also what to look out for when choosing a service professional to perform the necessary work. I CANNOT say ENOUGH about this young man's professionalism, depth of knowledge, and communication skills. I got an EDUCATION and an ACTION PLAN out of this deal!

Very professional job. The work was explained in a manner we could understand. We did not feel pressured at any time to have contractor do any further work. We received the audit reports over night along with suggested fixes and the estimated cost that we had discussed while he was here.

Ben arrived on time and seemed friendly, professional and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, after few weeks, we feel he was more of a salesman than anything. Which is fine, really, as that's what his job was. But, he said that he could save us a few hundred dollars by not having a professional mold analyzer come out as he could see we had "white and black mold". We had a mold remediation contractor come out and he said that it was actually illegal to label something as "white and black mold" and felt that that was a scare tactic. Apparently, only when it is analyzed, can that determination be made. "Black mold" is a misnomer, and some that appear black are actually harmless. While we do have visible mold, we now feel he should not have used the terms he did, and possibly he said that just to get us to sign us with his company quickly.In addition, Ben said to please ask any questions, and while he was responsive for a few questions, he answers dwindled down to one line of "Sounds like a plan" when that didn't answer my question at all. So, I wrote again, with several questions on the 17th, and never heard back. Yes, there was a holiday, so I gave him extra time to answer, but still nothing. So, I switched professionalism and responsiveness from As to Ds due to the above and we won't be using Revival.

Best spent money ever! I had Ben Fish, one of their Building Analysts, come to my house; he arrived right on time. I was blown away by how knowledgeable and willing to explain things he was. Throughout the whole process he was very personable, professional, and best of all, HONEST. After we did a walk through, he explained the procedure in detail. Very soon into the process he detected the cause of my problems, a very simple fix that corrected everything (for 0 dollars). Given my ignorance on the topic, he could have easily had me believe I needed an expensive system to get hot air upstairs, but he didn't, and instead he took the time to explain how the whole system works, and why I was having issues. Even though he detected the problem early on during the inspection, and knowing that my house would not require any additional services, he conducted the whole inspection (which took about 2 hours) only to confirm that my house did not need anything else. By the way, the inspection is really cool, and you get to see if you have any leaky spots anywhere in your house. In summary, all I can only say is that, if I ever have any problem with my AC, furnace, insulation, etc., I will not hesitate to call them... professional and honest service. Thanks Ben!!!

Very well - they were professional, on time, and went above and beyond what a $49 inspection should buy in terms of answering my questions and suggesting ways to save money on future work.

Being new to the North West, we relied on the contractor to make recommendations regarding the work to be done. Surprisingly, they said our A/C and furnace were OK. I had them replace they A/C system anyway because it was old. They told me that whole house fans were not used in this location and suggested that we could cheaply add an outside air intake to our existing system, which they did. They were thorough and professional. We were very satisfied with the product and the service.

They screwed my email address up for some reason. I was supposed to get an estimate for putting in a second zone in my house. They guy was getting ready to go into knee surgery and promised me he would get me an estimate before he went into surgery, but never did. When I finally called the company back three weeks later they had screwed up my email address. He didn't get the bid done in time. They did try to email me after he did get it done but had the wrong email address, that was frustrating.

They were the experts, I think it helped the house. They were very professional, very nice, and they got it done in a day. I thought they did very well. I hope that they know what they were doing because I don't know. But they seemed to be very confident and it did help the house this summer. I don't know weather it is helping this winter, as far as energy savings. I know they added insulation up there and more insulation. I think that it needed to be done and have not had any problems. The price was high. They did do a lot a work though. They were very much so on professionalism. There wasn't anything to dislike. I was happy with them.

I couldn't have been more impressed with Revival. First of all, we got three bids and theirs was the most affordable by quite a bit. Normally, this would concern me about quality, but I had nothing to worry about. They were responsive and prompt leading up to the installation process, easy to work with on scheduling, and when it came time to install their team was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and fast. The best, though, came well after the job was done and paid. When we were having a problem with the heat distribution months later, Robert came over personally and promptly, spending over two hours to get things corrected. Then--almost a year after the installation--a tree branch came down in a storm, damaging the outside unit on a Saturday during an ice storm. Despite the continued challenges of the storm, Robert came out that day to diagnose the problem; brought us space heaters to tide us over; and had the unit replaced and running by Monday. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Everything went as planned. They were in & out in the allotted time. They were really good at explaining everything to me.

Ben was very professional and seemingly frank. His manner was great , knowledgeable customer service. No pressured sales pitches while pointing issues to be addressed.

We were in a bind with no A/C and the 95 degree days so Jim at Revival gave me some things to try to get it working and scheduled a time to fit us in before their workday. When we found we needed new equipment, he fit us in within a couple of days. He made us feel that we were their top priority.

The crew was timely, respectful and efficient. repeat radon measurements are undetectable. Very pleased!

Revival performed the work flawlessly and left no messes behind. Our home smelled and felt 10x better immediately. We moved into an old home with some unhealthy crawl space issues and inefficient/non-working HVAC system. I needed a plan to fix many different issues without spending too much money and every contractor I talked to tried to sell me an expensive solution that didn't hit all of my problem areas. Ben Fish came out twice, worked through my questions and helped create a plan that we felt comfortable with. Jim Ballman answered all my (probably excessive) emails and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. They treated us the same when we started as a small job as they did when we piled on the work but didn't try to sell us on expensive things we didn't need. This is an ethical, professional and technically skilled group that I would recommend to anyone.

I bought this deal from Angie's special for Attic Inspection Plus an Insulation and Ventilation Analysis from Revival Energy LLC. They sent Ben Fish to come out to do the job. Here are some issues: [1] He came ill-prepared bringing just a 3ft ladder which can't reach our ceiling attic door, our home it’s a 9ft ceiling, so I had to go down to my garage and brought up my 8ft ladder for him to use. [2] After he went up into the attic, I followed behind and take a peak into my attic standing from my ladder. I saw a dead bird within my reach. So I went downstairs to put on my latex gloves and grabbed a plastic bag. I headed back upstairs and Ben was already came down from the attic and closing the door behind him. He didn’t give me a chance or offer me if I wanted to clean up a dead bird. Did he thought that I was just going to leave the dead bird in my attic? So I climbed up to remove the dead bird. [3] Ben gave me a final analysis on my attic insulation and said that the area closest to the attic door has 12” of insulation and the area on the furthest corner of the house has only 4” of insulation. I asked him if I should hire his company or someone to add more insulation to meet spec. He replied that I won’t be qualified from the state incentive credit because the area is too small. To me, I wasn’t concern about that; I was more concerned about lack of insulation in my attic, creating heat loss in the winter. I did mention he saw a bird nest with a live bird at the furthest corner of my house and there’s an opening in my attic that allows bird to nest in my attic. He said he’s not a pest control, hence he won’t be able to help me, and that’s understandable, I don’t expect him to, coz not his job. [4] Next I asked him, if he’s going to inspect my crawl space? He replied “If you want me too?” I thought the deal was to do entire house both in attic and crawl space and to give me overview of my an Insulation and Ventilation Analysis? Although he went down into my crawlspace but he didn’t go far any more than 15 ft. and rest of the time just stand there and beamed his flashlight around entire crawlspace. No recommendation needed he said. The following week, I hired a contractor to go up in my attic to get rid of the bird nest and closed the hole to prevent future bird entry. The contractor told me that he noticed a good size area of 8’x10’ in my attic (furthest corner of the house) doesn’t have any insulation at all. He said he can see bare wood in that area. Then I recalled Ben from Revival Energy said that area should have 4” of insulation. I wasn’t sure who’s right?. So I went up to the attic to see for myself, and sure enough, I can see and touch the bare wood with no insulation in that area. This is totally the builder’s fault when they built my home in 1999. This explained why that room below in that area gets so cold in the winter and so hot in the summer because of no insulation. Ben also quoted me the cost of $730 to install a manual damper at the main furnace to control the air flow between upstairs and downstairs at my request. Few days later, I found Able Heating and Cooling [*** Link removed ***] to install the damper for less than $250 included labor by a tech named Nick. Overall, I was very disappointed with Revival Energy LCC analysis visit. I felt I did not get my money worth and getting deceptive information. I would not recommend this company.

For the roofing, I think it was a little bit expensive. They charged extra because my roof is a little bigger and also they charge for fixing some stuff on it. There was loose tile. They put some kind of lock in thing. They charge extra. I don't mind they charge extra. They are responsive but on a condition. Somehow I believe he was the working guy, Angie's List didn't leave him a number. I was waiting for them to come but they didn't. I had to call them but after my phone call they were really responsive.
