They performed a home energy audit. They determined that insulating the attic would not provide a great enough ROI to warrant the cost. They focused mainly on the attic and pointed out places that needed to be caulked and sealed. They gave me a quote for various items in my attic.

He was very thorough, looking at every space in the house; testing the furnaces, water heaters and ductwork for leaks. He calculated the energy cost of each category of energy use. He took infrared photos all over the house to show air loss and temperature changes, and went into great detail explaining the current energy standards. I was very pleased with the service, and would use his company for energy related issues in the future.

Interesting results. Some suggestions were obvious (new windows, subfloor insulation), at least one far-fetched (ripping out perfectly good insulation to seal cracks in the ceiling and then replace insulation for minimal percentage of efficiency) but it was explained that all scenarios would be presented for a full picture of possible improvements. My one regret is that the blower door test was on my most leaky (front) door and therefore the efficiency of that door wasn't assessed. But all in all I received great information about the energy efficiency of my home.

The estimator was very nice and didn't pressure me to sign up for more extensive work that I didn't want. The deal was only good for the more comprehensive package so it didn't work out for me.

They were good. I think they did what they said. They also did the paper work that got me a $1000 rebate back form the government. I was happy with them. They were really professional and a very committed and passionate team.

good info, but the service provided was later rec'd for another building from another company for free. Costs of repairs recommended were on the high side, too.

After I bought the deal for 300 feet of blown-in insulation, I'd didn't hear from the vendor. I wrote a bad review and got a sincerely apologetic call from Jim Ballman of Revival. I was impressed by his sincerity, so agreed to have a survey of the house and attic done, to prepare a quote. The rep was punctual and courteous. he found that I had 1142 feet in excess of the deal's 300. He suggested that the existing insulation was adequate, and I didn't NEED to spend the money. I think the green, steel roof gives off a lot of heat, so I agreed to take the Deal. The two-man installation crew arrived on the dot, and were very considerate. they covered everything in the closet where the attic access is. It was much more involved than a blow-and-go. They installed dams to avoid blocking aeration vents, and installed rulers to know when they hit the fill level. They were cautious of my things, and put padding where the corrugated hose might rub the door trim or window sill. Overall, I was quite impressed, top to bottom.

Great job. Robert knows his stuff and was very friendly. Provided a report the same day with recommendations. Thermostat works as advertised. Probably paid for itself already.

Did not use there services, used different provider

It turned out great. I did end up paying more than the big deal. They were prompt and on time. I was very satisfied with them.

Despite the many issues with missed test this service provider demonstrated a high degree of customer service and flexibility by offering a full refund - therefore the high grade.

It was awesome! Very interesting to watch the auditor and learn how the process works, what to look for in the house and what needs to be changed to make my house more energy efficient!

Ben's inspection was quite valuable to me. I had just purchased a 37 year old house. I had assumptions as to what had to be replaced, what had to be repaired, and what didn't need attention. I also had assumptions as to how to best prioritize these "upgrades" in a manner that was most economical in the long run. My assumptions turned out to be way off after he finished his analysis. Two examples: I had thought my metal framed windows were a top priority for replacement, his analysis was that repairing the leaks in my heating ducts would save more energy at a small fraction of the cost & hassle of replacing windows. I had thought that when it came time to replace my gas furnace, I should do so with a model of similar capacity. Ben discovered that my present furnace (original equipment) had 3X the capacity my house presently needs. These two discoveries ( and several others that he provided ) completely rearranged my priorities for capital improvements to my home over the next few years. It is now going to be an investment decision based on hard data.

It went well. They came out right on schedule after I setup a date for them. They were very professional. I like the person that came out, Robert. He was a great guy. He explained everything to me. It was a really good service and very thorough report. I would recommend to anybody. They seem to be a good outfit. The quality was topnotch.

Very nice people but they wanted me to do more than I was able to do prior to them providing the service as well as their wanting me to buy more services than I could afford.

Overall we were very happy with the service. Bob and his team (and Ming Lee who did the actual work for the sealing) did an excellent job. We are satisfied with the work and will revert for future projects

Signed up for deal, paid??, never heard a thing?

My experience overall went very well. They were very friendly and professional. They were highly in their field and I am using them again here shortly. The pricing is reasonable. I would recommend this company to others.

We were looking to get our home insulated and buy a new furnace & water heater. Revival Energy performed the audit, and were punctual & professional, but we ended up going with another company in the end (and purchased insulation & a furnace but decided to wait on a water heater). Revival's estimate lacked detail & did not break down the services or reveal the brand of furnace/water heater that would be used. The company we ended up going with provided a very detailed estimate and broke it down for us into several scenarios. They also stated exactly which furnace & water heater would be used if they performed the job.

Everything went well. The gentleman was incredibly thorough with the energy assessment and did a good job with the installation. He also did a good job of following up with the assessment results and ensuring that there was nothing else that he could do.

Robert is very informative and very helpful plan to use him for additional work in near future

I had purchased the Big Deal offer for this service and my experience with them was great. They were very prompt they did an awesome job and my house is nice and cool now. The $99 that I paid for the Big Deal purchase covers only for 400 sq ft and I had more like 750 sq ft and they also had me put some additional put a couple additional roof dense to keep the ventilation adequate up there. I think I spend around $800. It was very convenient that they can filled out all the paper for all the energy rebate so you don’t have to do that at all they just do it for you. Price wise, I did not price it out with anybody else so it is difficult to compare. But it seemed reasonable.
