Revival Energy LLC

I am very happy with this company (Revival Energy LLC). They are honest, and they are good to help customers. They sent a tech, whose name is Ben. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. The only issue is that my idea is to find somebody to check the moisture level on the wall and ceiling, but it is not the trade of their company. So they agreed to give me the refund.

The person who conducted the initial assessment ($49), arrived on time, inspected the attic area of my concern as well as the rest of the attic space, gave me his assessment with complete explanation of his findings. My concern was an area that had not been properly insulated and issues with venting on a house that I purchased. I asked for a proposal to do the work which included the missing insulation and the addition of three to four new vents to the roof, fixing vents that had only been going into the attic. The work was scheduled for later in the week (I really like fast service!) and completed in about four hours by two very professional gentlemen. I am very happy with Revival Energy LLC.

They scheduled us with a 30 minute window and Ben showed up right on time with a whole trunk full of equipment. Our concern was a lack of air reaching our master. He found 2 air ducts disconnected in the attic! How'd the home inspector miss that one?! He let us know about other issues, some bigger, some DIY. Really glad to have all of this information our first year in our home. Ben was great with all of the info he provided and there was 0 sales pressure, which I had suspected there would be given the price of the audit (netted out at $0!). It actually costs $150 but Energy Trust of Oregon has a $150 rebate for this service, and Revival completes and sends in the paperwork for you! The only way you lose $ is not calling Revival!

Revival Energy used lots of specialized equipment to diagnose our homes energy consumption in relation to insulation, air leaks, ac and heater output and capacity and much much more. They put our mind at ease and gave us confidence that our house is giving us the most it can in a most efficient way. I highly recommend their professional and personalized services.

It was great. Ben spent a couple of hours in our home investigate areas of air leakage and insulation deficiencies. He also checked our appliances, basement, HVAC ducting and flow and various other things I had never thought of to give us a good idea of where we were losing energy and had opportunities for making improvements. At the end of the service he put together a comprehensive report and reviewed all of the conclusions and recommendations, including a prioritized list of work with estimated costs and estimated energy savings. Bet of all, the whole service was free after they processed the Oregon Energy rebate for me. I plan to call them again when we're ready to tackle some of the improvements.

I think they were overwhelmed by business at the time and did not follow up well.

Robert Brierley did a thorough energy audit of the house and provided us with a list of prioritized recommendations for insulating our home. This enabled us to decide which work would provide the most results for the least cost. He was very professional and informed us of different options for materials and processes. We decided to do attic ventilation ($455), attic air sealing ($1485), 2 bathroom exhaust fans ($887) and attic insulation ($1552), In the future, we plan to add floor insulation. Revival Energy assisted us with obtaining our energy rebates also. The work was done very promptly and efficiently, and they left no mess behind. Afterward, they repeated the energy audit and demonstrated the effectiveness of the work.

The liquidation was good and the service warranty was good. I would say their liquidation was better companies to other companies like Costco.

Not bad, but nothing special

It was fine. They were helpful. We moved so we didn't do any of the follow up that they suggested. They were knowledgeable.

Revival did a wonderful job on installing the new split system heat pump and repairing the walls! Our Dad's condo home was heated with electric baseboard heaters and they were costing him up to $200 a month to operate. The new heat pump is so energy efficient that the bill went down to $50 a month after the installation. It is so amazingly quiet both inside AND outside, that you hardly know it's running. The installer located the heat pump so that it circulates the air so well that it even heats the bedrooms and bathroom down the hallway. Essentially it heats (and cools!) the entire 900 sq. ft. condo with hardly a sound. We are very pleased with not only the installation, but also the heat pump and all its wonderful energy saving benefits! Revival even noted the front door had a gap at the bottom of it, and installed a door sweep for us to help save even more energy. We would highly recommend Revival Energy.

Ben, our Energy Auditor was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was also very thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions. We have already made some of the improvements suggested and plan to do more in the near future.

Went smoothly. Used a $99 Angies List coupon. Good value for the coupon.

The tech showed up and spent the whole day measuring air flows, taking IR images, and crawling in attic and crawl space. In the end he delivered a very thorough document detailing possible actions and their cost and payoff estimate. Our house did better than we had expected, so we decided not to pursue any upgrades just yet.

He came with wanting to do the package that I had payed for, but after it was explained to me, I decided I did not want it and he was a little taken back, but he went with my wishes and gave me the estimate anyway to do the attic and floor insulation. He was very professional, but I did not feel like using this company.

It turned out excellent. It was a very comprehensive testing. He tested for leakage to show what type of leakage the house had. He also tested for heating sensing throughout the house. It was well priced for the big deal. The gentleman was very professional and I really appreciated that.

I purchased a Big Deal, which included an energy audit with a proposal for work needed. The guys arrived promptly and did a thorough assessment of our heat loss, etc. They were very professional and pleasant to deal with. However, the cost for the work needed was too high for our budget at the time.

They were great. We have been putting things in the crawl space for thirty years so this work was long over due. They found places where the ducts were poorly installed, and in one case, not connected at all. We had been heating the crawl space making it a welcome home for mice!

Did not buy the suggested repairs which was estimated to be around $5,000.

Ben was very thorough in the energy audit he provided. He was clear and answered all questions that I had. Communication was prompt throughout the process. Further, the audit was eligible for a rebate that made it, in effect, free. The quoted repairs and improvements recommended after the audit were somewhat expensive, but expected given the scope. I have not yet decided whether to continue with this project, as it is currently out of my budget, but if I do, I will definitely consider Revival's services.
