Description of Work: I was very satisfied with Pioneer's response and resolution of a mouse problem this winter. The service technician was courteous and knowledgeable. I will continue to use Pioneer Pest Management in the future.

Description of Work: Assessed situation and made recommendations. Did not think I needed service I originally called about... And that impressed me. Service person and person answering the phone and scheduling were very helpful. I'll call again when needed.

Description of Work: They serviced our crawl space and put traps down there for pests. They also put traps outside for us. They come out annually and spray.

Description of Work: They showed up when they said they would. He was very professional. He knew what to look for. We had an ant problem and he described what kink of ants they were, how they moved and where they live. I was impressed with his knowledge! The price was up there a little $300, but if the ants are dead, it's worth it!!! I would recommend. Very cool trucks btw!

Description of Work: We have had Pioneer come out on a few occasions for random issues. The first two times they took a look & let us know what we should watch for/what we could do if we saw further activity, all for no charge. This last time we had seen a couple of rats in our yard so decided to bait for them in hopes to get them to go away/control them. Mick came out, on time as usual, and was very good about answering my novice pest control questions. He set up baiting stations and they will be back to monitor them as we need it, he suggested quarterly. The setup cost was $169 & each time they come back it will be & $69. We will see how it goes, but in talking with Mick, I felt confident that this would help. Pioneer has been great to work with thus far & I would recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Monday we noticed a 'squirrel without hair on its tail' at our bird feeders with the squirrels. Yikes! Rats! We were shocked as we've been feeding birds/squirrels for years with no problems. We called Pioneer Tuesday morning and they had Jake at our house by Wednesday. We had taken photos of the critters, so Jake easily identified them and got to work. He thorougly inspected our grounds and enclosed crawl/storage space and explained what he found and what he can do. We were pleased not only with how well he explained his findings but also with the fairness of the estimates for present and future work. We gave him the go-ahead and he got started right then. We also notified all of our neighbors and gave them Jake's card so they can be proactive. Obviously, we highly recommend Pioneer and are planning to follow through with them.

Description of Work: 2 men came out the first time and one the second. They were courteous, professional, and seemed to know all they needed to explain the problem and begin to take care of it. It involved going into and around the crawl space and the basement to check for extent of rat infestation. They found another entry point we didn`t see, plugged holes, set traps, and explained how to deal with the problem which will probably require several more visits. We feel confident that the problem is being dealt with and that they will come out at any time there is more evidence of activity. We agreed to a one year contract involving 3 more visits which we will pay for additionally. Jake in particular was a very professional and courteous/conscientious worker. We will not know how well the eradication process goes at first as these critters normally try to check back and settle in again if they can. Cost seems in line with what others charge but we don`t know the field. Many companies we checked on don`t have a lot of reporting on rat control rather than ants and other insects.

Description of Work: This report is related to a follow up on a guarantee. I had them deal with squirrels in the attic last year. They returned some months ago and I called them back. They have been very willing to solve the problem and have had people here setting traps and trying to solve the problem for weeks. Their folks have been very easy to work with to try to solve the problem. They caught a number of animals and sealed probable entrances, all at no cost to me. They restore my confidence in contractors and deeserve a gold star.

Description of Work: I had a severe problem with carpenter ants in my home. I called and received prompt service. After spraying, there was actually an increase in the number of ants, but they disappeared altogether within 2 weeks.
