Great. Show up on time for both the estimate and the repair. The written estimate was actually less than the ballpark estimate I was given on the spot. The mess and odor that you have to deal with with mold removal was completly contained.

Pete was unable to keep our first appointment. He came out a few days later and looked at our mold problem. He said he would email us a bid. We didn't hear back from him. We were very surprised after seeing all the positive reviews. UPDATE- We received his bid 5 days later. The mold was spreading quickly so we used another company.

Pete returned my call in a very reasonable time, and came out the very next morning to take a look at our mold issue. He was obviously quite knowledgable and was very professional. He talked about the positive attributes of his company and the fact that he uses non-toxic products in the home. He said he would provide a bid via email later that same date, or the following morning, which ended being a couple of days. However, to his credit, he was closer to his promised timeframe than any of the other contractors I interviewed (3 total). Same with a requested modified bid - but again, he was quicker than the others (some took weeks, after promising the following date, with no follow-up or explanation). Aside from Angie's List reviews, I requested (and contacted) a few references he provided - each had very positive things to say, while providing a balance between comments ranging from "very accommodating" and "very willing to do things right the first time," to some honest, minor criticisms which would not have deterred me from using his services. I can't stress enough that Pete was a professional and I'm confident would have done a great job, which is why I felt it was only right to write favorable review, even if based only upon first impressions in the bidding process. He was patient with questions, and didn't mind my asking questions from info I had gained from the Internet, to self-educated myself about the daunting mold remediation process. As earlier stated, the ONLY reason we did not go with NW Mold Removal was because we just didn't have the time/energy to attempt to sub out the flooring we had elected to change after the mold remediation, plus some additional duct work we needed to do, to address the original problem. Pete is a 1st Class guy, and if the proper situation arose (hopefully not due to any future mold problems though), we would not hesitate to choose Pete to do the job.

Had an excellent experience. The bid process was done quickly, the prices they gave were competitive and more importantly, they really gave me a lot of confidence that the job was going to be done right. In the course of the bid process, I informed them that I was planning to do other renovations to the house, which were unrelated to the mold issue. They asked if I'd be willing to consider a bid on the other work from a partner that they work with, and I agreed. The partner, Adin, again came back with competitive pricing, and when I met him in person, all of my worries about the situation entirely subsided. Ultimately, the whole experience, both the mold remediation and the work done with the partner Adin was really excellent. The quality of the job was really great, the prices were extremely fair, and they were able to get everything done on my timeline -- which was very tight. They put in time over the weekend to make sure they were able to get it done in time, and I'm very pleased with the final product. And it was great to work through just one provider (and the partner) to get everything done, rather than having to coordinate multiple contractors' schedules. Definitely recommend them again, and will definitely use them again for future home renovation needs.

Pete came out to give us a bid and it matched what our contractor believed to be the issue completely. A job that someone else might take advantage of the owner, NW Mold saw as an easier fix and not as involved as we were led to believe by another mold removal service. Pete made an appointment to come back and complete the job, knowing we were getting ready to put the house on the market, and worked to get this job completed in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the results.
