Description of Work: I used Angies List to find Mr.Bs Recliner Repair. I called and after it was |determined my chairs could be repaired we set up an appointment. I have 2 |Barcalounger recliners that are 15 years old. The mechanisms of both needed |repair. Mr.B REALLY knows recliners. He had the chairs apart in short order |and told me he would send the parts out for rebuilding and they would be done in 30 days. The leather on the chairs was still excellent but the fabric on the bottom of the seat cushions and the cording needed repair. He recommended a very very good upholstery man and I took the cushions to him. 30 days later Mr. B was back at my house with new mechanisms and my |repaired cushions. He put the chairs back together and with the |refurbished the cushions I believe the chairs are as good as new or better |than new. I was EXTREMELY satisfied with this service. Highest marks for |honesty, quality, and price. |

Description of Work: Mr. Bilden is a nice gentleman. He was very personable during his visit to look at my malfunctioning motorized recliner. He did tell me before his visit that his business is now a sideline as he now has a "day job". This became apparent during his visit as he did not seem very engaged in the process and could not figure out how to make his digital camera work so that he could take a picture of my chairs mechanism so that he could check availability. He made a simple drawing instead with some measurements. He assured me that he would check on the availability of the mechanism and get back to me. Over the next few weeks I did not hear from him. I called him several times; leaving messages, along with a couple of e-mails. I asked for an update so that I would know whether to wait or check with somebody else. After the 3rd call he called me to tell me that he was unable to help me. As I said this is a very nice gentleman, but I think he could have responded quicker, and feel that his attention to his customers may not be as important to him now.

Description of Work: Don replace two springs and added padding to the seat cushion for a recliner chair. Cost was reasonable enough as he came to the house and fixed the chair. Don was excellent to work with and very pleasant.

Description of Work: Our 20-year old leather recliner would not recline, nor would the footrest go up. Don rebuilt the frame and he installed new steel fittings. He knew exactly what was wrong and his explanation matched our visual assessment. He dismantled the chair in about 3 minutes and took the half in need of repair to his shop. Also, there was a piece missing, and he replaced it when he returned the chair. We have no experience with other chair repairs so I have no cost comparisons. The chair is 20 years old and the cost of the repairs was certainly cheaper than buying a new one. I hope we can enjoy it for another 20 years.

Description of Work: One of the seat springs on our new recliner came off the frame and needed to be reattached. I also had a problem with a recently moved sectional having a loose back support.

Description of Work: Don repaired two recliners--one which had a broken bolt that holds the back of the recliner in place.

Description of Work: Replace broken bolts in 2 recliners and add additional padding to 1 recliner.
