Description of Work: I have a Honda Harmony lawnmower that starts fine but full throttle engine speed is not constant and stops at idle. Tom checked everything and found some water in the fuel tank. He attempted to service the carburetor and although the engine speed improved he has to replace the carburetor due to low speed issues. Now runs like now. RPM set to spec. He also lubed wheel clutches. I'm impressed at the professionalism of this company, starting with a very competent response to my request for service and followed by the handling of the appointment, the punctuality and the quality of the service. This company sets up a benchmark for other companies to match. Kudos to Victoria and Tom!

Description of Work: Tom totally serviced my Husqvarna riding lawnmower. Prior to his arrival, he requested the model and product number of my mower and so when he came to our house he was completely prepared to service our mower. He even brought a set of blades with him in case there was a need for replacement. He checked the oil, grease fittings, air filter, blades, adjusted the deck, tire pressure, and steering mechanism. His work truck appeared to be fully equipped and organized with the necessary tools to do the job. So it went very well. The lawnmower is working great. I AM A HAPPY GUY. Thanks Tom.

Description of Work: I needed to have the front wheel drive transmission and shaft bearings replaced on my lawnmower. I had purchased the parts, but I didn't have the proper tools or training to complete the job. Mobile Lawnmower Doctor looked like a good choice to do the work. I made an appointment for April 7th or sooner. They called last Friday and had an opening for today at 9 AM. Tom arrived 15 minutes early and was ready to go to work. He removed the old parts and installed the new ones in less than an hour and the mower works great now. Tom was very nice, efficient and he knew what he was doing. If I need work done in the future, I will call them right away.

Description of Work: My lawnmower was spitting and sputtering. My lawn was getting taller and there wasn't money in the budget for a new one. The ease and convenience of having this mobile service come to my home was what convinced me at first but then the owner was able to arrive earlier than planned (His wonderful wife called first to confirm that it was OK) and hew not only got the machine started, gave it a complete tune-up and gave me valuable information about how to keep it running. It still starts on a dime and runs like a top 2 years later. You bet I will use them again and tell anyone who wants their lawnmower repaired or tuned to give him a call.

 + -1 moreI have a 22-year old lawnmower that still runs well, but it needed an oil change and the blade sharpened. I changed the air filter myself but I could not get the oil drain plug off the bottom. After comparing prices with lawnmower service shops, the convenience of the Mobile Lawnmower Doctor who makes house calls was very competitive. If I had to pay a bit more, it would be worth it not to have to wrestle the lawnmower in and out of the back of the car. I e-mailed Tom on Friday and got an appointment for Monday within a two-hour time period. Tom arrived during the block of time he had said he would come. He performed the lawnmower tune-up in my driveway while I watched. Tom has a fixed price for labor plus the cost of parts, which in my case was a spark plug, oil drain plug and oil.
Description of Work: Tom came to my house and performed a Walk-Behind Lawnmower Tune-up: changed oil, replaced spark plug, sharpened blade, checked, lubed and adjusted controls and wheels, scraped the deck and used an air compressor to blow dirt out of the cooling system. Tom listened to the engine and determined that my lawnmower did not need a carburetor adjustment.
