It went OK I think. They did a decent job. The tape they used bubbled and came off. It's okay because it was in the garage, but it would have been nice if they had done a better job. Pricing was OK. I waited all day for them to come and when I had called them she had lost my address and phone number. If I hadn't called her we'd still be waiting.

Janie came out and was confident that what I feared would be a big repair could be easily fixed. The work was scheduled for a specific day in about two weeks, and that is when the work was done. I left for work with a leaky shower, a smallish area of moldy-looking wall, and cracked trim on the corner. I came home to a beautifully grouted shower that sealed the leak, a beautiful touch-up paint job, and new trim. It looks great, and six weeks later-no leaks! Janie was very easy to work with. I would definitely call her and Mike again.

I want to apologize for the negative review I gave this service a day ot two ago. I had not receive the expected bid for the work I wanted done. As it turned out, they had sent the bid, BUT, it went somewhere else. One letter wrong in an address is the result. I spoke with Janie today & we discovered the error. Thought they will be doing the job this time, I would absolutely call them in the future. Joanne

I tried to identify someone who is located near my neighborhood because I think handyman services can be not too excited about small jobs like this. They were willing to do these tasks provided they weren't too high up for them to reach. It turned out they were able to do them without a problem. They were able to come just a few days after I first called and got the job done quickly. They repainted the spots where the TV antenna had been with some house paint I had left over. They are REALLY NICE people. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. I am so happy to have found someone who I can call when I have things like this I need help on, and be able to count on them doing a good job.

Provider was in neighborhood when called for help so came by same day at precise time set. Helper Mike did the work and Janie gave me ideas and did a bid on removing pop corn ceilings throughout my house. She also will be providing bid on painting interior of my house. She is aware my husband and I are handicapped now so she will be planning work where we do not have to move furniture. They will move things to do the work. Janie is very knowledgeable, compassionate and a pleasure to work with. Mike's Handyman, Janie and her husband Mike, did extensive remodel work for us over 20 years ago and all work was excellent. It has stood the test of time and use extremely well. Janie helped me choose neutral colors that still look good today. My kitchen and bath floors are still in great shape. My carpet has worn well. I am planning on using Mike's Handyman for future remodel work.

It went superbly well. Took 3 days and the work is impeccable. Contractor was always on time. Very fair pricing. Work required removal of 7 posts sunk in concrete and then covered with 1 foot of dirt. The posts were replaced properly by sinking in gravel to the top of the soil line.

New toilet and flooring. Including some dry rot.

Really was looking forward to talking to them because of their good ratings, but they never gave me a call back. It might have been everyone is busy now so they just couldn't take on any more customers. Didn't want to give them an "F" as I can't really say.

arrived on time, finished on time, ran into an unexpected problem, solved it very quickly and refused to charge more because of the unforeseen problem. quoted one day cycle time and hit it!

We are selling our home and needed some repair work done that normally we would do ourselves but did not have time to complete on the shortened timeline. I called Mike's Handyman Service (on a Sunday) and received a call back the next day. Janie was very professional and friendly on the phone. She made time to come out at the end of her workday and give us an estimate. She caught a couple of extra repairs that needed to be done that the inspector had missed! She was able to do the work the next day and they did a wonderful job for a very fair price. I will be hiring them to come out and do a few repairs on our new home when we move.

I am extremely satisfied with the work performed by Mike's Handyman Services. Janie came to my home prior to doing the work, and gave me an estimate that ended up being only a couple of dollars different than the actual price -- I appreciated her accuracy and knowledge about what it would take to do the job. She picked up all of the needed parts on her own time, which greatly helped me. She and her assistant were prompt, respectful, efficient and cleaned up after the work was completed. I will gladly use their services again, and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for great a great handyman/woman.

They have been very helpful and friendly. I had purchased a piece of furniture and they were also willing to come out and put that together as well. They did an excellent job with a great deal of professionalism and humor. The floor looks great and the furniture is great as well. I feel very comfortable with them.

We got 6 bids for our project. There were a couple bids that were very low and a couple that were extremely high. We didn't have enough confidence in the ones who came in very low so we chose Mike's Handyman Services. When we met Janie, she impressed us with her knowledge of the project. Janie is very personable and professional. She worked very hard and barely took a break. She also helped us with a design for the tile and the end result looks perfect!!! She also didn't seem to mind all the dogs we had here who thought it was their job to supervise the work. For all the work she did, I felt the price was fair. All in all, the finished product looks terrific and I'm glad that we chose Mike's Handyman Services.. We definitely will hire them again.

The upstairs master bedroon window had a broken track that prevented the windown from sliding up and down in the track. This made the windown completely unuseable. I called them on a thursday and explained what the problem was. The wife came out and looked at the windown, took measurements, and model numbers. The following Tuesday she called back and then came out to replace the damaged section of window,She arrived when she said she would! None of this "Some time in the morning or afternoon" crap. She gave me a time and she was here AT THE APPOINTED TIME. It took her about an hour to remove and replace the bad parks and install new parts. The window now works absolutely fine. I would cheerfully and with great confidance reccommend Mikes Handyman to anyone needing repairs, or such. I have no doubt that they can do what they say, and when they say they will do it.

We were happy with their work and they cleaned up well. They were prompt and did what they say they were going to do. I think the price was reasonable. We have been happy with Mike before, so we just went with Mike. They were on time. We trust them so much that we go away and let them work in the house while we're gone.

Very well. Very immediate response--estimate given ---on time work done--finished when I was told it would--the final bill came in a little under the estimate. The ceiling looks great--very nice woman who did the work.

My six year old son and I were in our attic preparing items to take down for our upcoming move, he at one end and me at the other. I turned my back on him for a second and heard a crunching sound. When we got down, I looked in the office and sure enough--he had stepped off the plywood flooring and through the ceiling! Thank The Lord he didn't fall completely through but he stepped through enough to need repairing. I thought it would be a simple inexpensive fix. Well, it was for Janie%2! She meticulously completed the job practically to the original estimated minute! What's better is that upon touring the house after we were all moved out, our landlord --a former real east ate agent -- said that she couldn't even tell where the repair had been made!

Everything Janie did was done swiftly and with precision. It all looks great! I would also like to note in several cases she went above and beyond what was needed; like when fixing the toilet, she cleaned the epoxy that had been stuck to the toilet lid since we bought the house (I figured some day we'd just replace the lid but hadn't gotten around to it yet). She was also extremely friendly and personable. I really can't say enough about Mike's Handyman Services; I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing work done around the home or office.

I had the plan. He had the skill to make it happen! Outstanding execution of the ideas that I had to create a family friendly space from our garage for children to play, and for family to gather for fun. The best craftsman we have ever worked with!

The entire experience from first contact to final completion was problem free. The quality of the work was excellent. And it was performed on time at a reasonable cost. Absolutely no complaints. I will use Mike's services again.

We'd hired them on several occasions and will undoubtedly hire them again.

The work is done properly and I am satisfied with that. However they refused honor the coupon which is on their angie's list page.
