I don't think they know how to fix, the guy that came out, I don't think he knows anything about heat pumps.? I mean, they put the heat pump in, but they didn't answer any of my questions on it so I was bummed.? The cost was fair. It was more than I wanted.? What was good about them was I able to get an appointment and they came out when they said they were going to.? To make the service better they could've listened to what my concern was.? I don't feel they listened at all.? I think they were focused on just cleaning it.? I think that's the only thing that they were planning on doing.? He did what he planned on doing.? I'm going to be looking for someone else.

The Technician identified a Run Capacitor as the issue. He told me he had one on the truck but it would be $168 for the part. I had several questions, which he answered. Since I'm not an expert on air conditioners, I agreed to have him service the run capacitor. Talking with my wife, it took just a few minutes to repair that part. Our AC did not need anything else. AC works great now, so that was the issue. When I got home from work, I found the old Run Capacitor - not the biggest part, and I was confused why something like this would cost $168. I did some searching, and the MOST expensive 55/5 run capacitor I could find was $26. I called back and asked if they had mis-charged me for the part, and I guess that includes the labor... For $168 I would have changed it out myself (looks like 3 wires). I get paying for such a specialized service, but $315 to swap out a little part seems a little unfair.

I've been using them for 28 years. If they could improve on one thing it would be to not cancel when you have an appointment.

They did fine. We had a bunch of rebates to use.

They really are thorough and if something needs done they explain it and do it. We don't have trouble during the year. They keep the area clean while working.

I still use them for tuneups. I would use them in a heartbeat. When they replaced the heat pump two guys came out and they had it done in a couple hours. Responsive, clean, good job and I didn't have to call them back out.

They've been servicing our house since the house was built. They were the original installers of the heating and cooling system and we just, they send out, They do the annual maintenance on the system and they know the units, they know the house so we just use them because of their longevity and their knowledge with our heating and cooling system. When you schedule they're pretty prompt, the guys are knowledgeable, they're very clean, they're very conscientious when they come through the house, they'll put booties on to make sure they don't drag dirt in. I would recommend them to others as well.

The heater was not repaired properly by Metfab. As a result, Area Heating and Cooling had to come out and replace the control board. The control board showed bad limits. Also, a piece was broken by Metfab when repairing the heater. The most disturbing thing is my 85 year old mom said the Metfab repairman wanted to take a picture of her. My mom later told me the picture made her feel uncomfortable. A call to Metfab did nothing to resolve the issue of the heater not being repaired. Also, Metfab said they would look into the issue of the picture taking but didn't even bother to call back to say what had happened.

We called on a Monday morning and in spite of ongoing hot weather, Doug was able to come out again that day . He had used his only circuit board that he had in stock with another customer so he came back the same day with another and installed it after 5PM Once again we were really relieved and appreciative that we didn't have to replace this heat pump we have had since 1998.

We called. They were swamped with calls due to the weather. Doug was able to get out within 24 hours and much to our relief was able to fix it right away -- we were expecting the worst (new heat pump and big delay). Doug was very nice and helpful and we were very grateful!

The technician Gary, arrived on time, and ready to begin work. He inspected the system, performed routine maintenance and cleaning. No repairs were needed. He was polite and informative about what was needed to keep the system healthy. I would definitely request this technician again. An added bonus, there was a discount on the work since I was able to schedule the maintenance on a day when the technician was in the area. I thought the price was very reasonable and I have no qualms about using MetFab Heating, Inc. in the future.

They were out quick, on time, did everything we needed and didn't try to sell us a bunch of extra stuff we didn't need. Very professional.

As always, very professional and showed up on time. They made sure they covered the carpet areas where they were working. The first person that showed up to prep everything for removal. Later two more guys showed up to remove the old system and helped install the new system. They completed the work ahead of schedule, made sure they cleaned up after themselves. Showed me the new and very much improved air handler system. The new system is much more quite and puts out higher air flow. Once again, and very happy customer.

They seem to know what they are doing. We have never had any problems that they did not foresee, look into and take care.

Called to make appointment for a service call and while discussing the problem was told there is another call and put on hold. Am ok with that so the new call can be answered and then they are put on hold while finishing up with me. Am not ok with being kept on an extended hold.....Finally gave up and hung up.

I have used their services several times. They are very reliable. I've had a good experience with them. Their quality is very good. I would use them again in the future.
