Linton's Carpet Cleaning

Linton and his wife were very friendly and polite. They cleaned an area rug that had numerous pet soiled areas but unfortunately the pre-treatment they used had a very strong perfume smell. I get migraine headaches and I got one after the rug was in my house overnight. Linton kindly removed the rug and tried to clean it again, flushing it with water to remove the fragrance. I know he tried but the rug held the odor. I had it re-cleaned by someone else but it still smelled like bad perfume. I also let the carpet air out in a friend's garage for 6 months and the odor remains. Linton did refund my money for the service but unfortunately, I will not be able to use the rug again. It was an expensive Karastan carpet. I think he should not use this product again or ask if people are sensitive to smells before he cleans the carpets. Although Linton was very polite and tried his best, I would not use his company again because of the products he uses. I recently had someone clean my carpets and they pre-treated with a pet treatment and I couldn't smell a thing - not a trace of fragrance nor was there any lingering pet odor.

The best experience we've ever had with a carpet cleaning company. We're moving out and wanted to make sure that the carpets were in great shape for the next residents. We have pets and wanted the carpets cleaned and sanitized. We'd had an area rug in the living room that was held in place with gorilla brand double faced tape. When we rolled up the rug the residue remained and we needed it removed. Linton came out on a Friday and the amount of residue was more than our explanation could have portrayed. He worked on a section of it to make sure it would come up and it did. He needed more product than he had with him and needed to get from an out of town supplier. We rescheduled for him to come back on Monday. Before he left though he cleaned my husband's office so he could be back at work on Monday while they did the rest of the house. Linton & his wife work together and they are hard working & a team who understand what great customer service means. Every corner was covered with a safety cone, they placed towels underneath the connections on their hoses and repeatedly check to make sure everything was ok. And they made sure my hardwoods and anywhere they worked was cleaned up afterwards too. They used a circular scrubber on my carpets with 5 vacuum hoses so the amount of water left after cleaning was minimal. Carpets were dry the same evening. The work on the residue was time consuming but their charge to do the work was reasonable. Given the quality I consider the work done to be a great deal! I consider Linton's to be the gold standard for carpeting cleaning. I won't waste my time or my money on other services that do ok. I want clean carpets and Linton & Nila deliver the clean carpets you want to lay down on.

They did such an excellent job. They came to my home to pick up the rugs. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. I called and left a message and they called back within a couple of hours. They were always on time since we split the service into 2 appointments. The rugs had stains due to having pets and the rugs came back brighter, softer and are in wonderful shape. They also have excellent pricing too. This is a husband and wife business and I have even told my family about them.

They were very efficient and on time in fact a little early. They came through and did a very good job. They were a little reluctant to take my 10% off coupon. They did take it but wasn’t happy about it and informed me that I should have mentioned it at the beginning though I wonder why that was. They did an excellent job of the carpet so as far as I know it seemed good. They put little rubber things in the corner so they wouldn’t scratch or scruff up anything as well. They did what needed to be done.

They (husband and wife team) arrived a little early and got right to work. Linton listened to my concerns, addressed them and completed the whole process in a timely manner, including an excellent small carpet repair. You can't even see where it was fixed even though it was a new carpet piece in a high traffic area!!! While the price seemed a bit higher than most other quotes, it was well worth it because of the quality of the cleaning and repair work. I will most certainly use them again.

My husband and I were very pleased with the service. We were contacted the day before to confirm the appointment. We were called the next morning to confirm the time. My carpets look brand new when they finished cleaning them. I plan to hire them the next time my carpets need cleaning. Very friendly and informative. I will recommend them to my friends and relatives.

VERY friendly,I was able to get the appointment within my time frame,they called to remind the day before,then called the morning of cleaning,were early which was great,came in went right to work,and checked in with me all during cleaning,Linton and his wife did the job and I have a pet who had really created a messy spot,they did a great job! I will have them back in future to do bedrooms.This is one of the first services I have used from Angies list and made me glad I signed up!

They arrived promptly & immediate went to work. They put drop cloths down in the hallway & bumpers on wall corners. They were completely professional , thorough & efficient. The carpets look amazing. I have already referred them to our neighbors & friends.

Arrived on time, moved necessary furniture. Performed contracted service quickly and efficiently. Very friendly and nice people. Explained fee prior to beginning work (charge by sq. ft.). jointly measured work area and agreed on fee prior to commencing work.

This is at least the 3rd or 4th time I have use Linton's Carpet Cleaning. They always answer or return my call promptly and show up when they say they will. The carpets looks great when their finished having removed spots that I didn't think would come out. Their friendly, honest, and do an incredible job. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! The husband and wife team cleaned our carpet in the living room after we had a new fire place insert installed and the installing company got soot on light tan (cream color) carpet. They were prompt and on time with their service.

Clinton and his wife came a few hours early which I really appreciated due to company arriving in a couple days. They were fast and efficient and left the carpets cleaner and drier than any other carpet cleaner I've used. I would definitely use them again.

Linton and his wife were awesome to work with. I am so pleased with how my carpets look/smell/feel. Linton called me back immediately, showed up to my house exactly when he said he would for my estimate and for the cleaning. I plan to use his company again to stretch my bedroom carpet (as soon as I can find time to move my huge bed) and in the future!

All went very well. My wife and I have used Linton for more than 12 years. Linton always does excellent work. Linton knows carpets. Nila, Linton's wife, works closely with him and they are an excellent and effective team. We have always been very pleased with their work. If Linton has had to work on a particularly difficult spot, he asks us to call him and let him know if it has returned. We have done so on a couple of occasions and he has always taken care of it... at no charge. I have had to wrestle with him to take my money. His fees are very reasonable and fair. Linton and Nila are friendly, courteous, professional and both have an especially refreshing sense of humor. You will will have made the right decision when you choose Linton and Nils to take care of your carpets.

Linton is GREAT! This is the second house I've had him clean. The first was a rental back in Oct 2011 and the carpets were 20 years old. They were as clean as new carpets with NO residue on them. I was amazed. He took out stains I thought would be there forever. The April 2013 cleaning was in my new home after a new puppy. The carpets came out clean, smelled great, and, surprisingly, as soft as the original new carpet. Thoroughly impressed. No one will ever clean my carpets other than Linton's. HIghly recommend him.

Linton and his wife did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional and thorough. They were able to remove several stubborn stains and got my carpet looking terrific. I highly recommend this company.

They were excellent. Their cleaning method was very unique. They turn your oriental rug over onto a grate and used what's called a badger and it goes over the back and it just takes all of the dirt off. They also bring in the bag of soil to show you. They're awesome. They picked them all up and delivered them with no charge. Their cost was great and they were easy to work with. He worked with us on holding them until we needed them, but there was a point where he needed more room. It's just him and his wife and there's so many expensive places in Portland, but I just said, no, I'm going with this guy and I'm going local and was extremely pleased. They really went over and above and are always in communication with me about any bleeding issues that they found or if they were going to have a problem and would explain which one. When he came out here he knew and told us which ones might be a problem and showed us why and honestly there were no problems at all. I worked specifically with them and for them to come where we live is a 45 minute drive and they did everything. What sold me was that they have a video where you can see the process. In our garage area even though we have commercial doors the wind would push a lot of dirt in and we vacuumed, but what they pulled out of them was amazing and I would totally trust them with my orientals.

They were very prompt in responding to my request for an estimate, and their prices were very reasonable. They were on time and did a great job cleaning our carpets. We would definitely use them again.

I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fast and friendly. The price was extremely friendly too! The rugs turned out beautiful. No chemical smells or stiffness. You could tell they had been cleaned with care.

Linton and his crew repaired and cleaned the carpet of our newly purchased short salel home. I never in my willdest dreams thought the carpet would come out as wonderful as it didi!!
