We began as a telecommunications company in 2015, partnering with Frontier Communications, AT&T, Brinks Home Security, and many others through 20 different states. This laid the path for our group to completely revamp into Infinity Solar USA, with years of experience contracting on complex projects.
Our team saw the increasing need for an alternative energy solar company that could understand the struggles related to dealing with third parties. Infinity decided to bring communication, transparency, and quality service to in-house solutions for the industry.
When we noticed that solar is the future — we couldn’t help but join the wave. Whether you’re looking for a grid-tied, or grid-hybrid, we can custom fit an excellent system to suit your needs. Technology in this industry has advanced dramatically and we can offer your home a cutting-edge setup that won’t let you down. Trust our pros to bring you the very best from one of the top solar companies in AZ, TX, WA, and OR.

Would not recommend. Our experience was typical of a bad contractor: great salesman that sold us a white glove service level followed up with an invasive construction process with seemingly no one in charge. Each step in the process was a surprise and we never found the bottom of how much we weren’t made aware of the process along the way. Our salesman left the company and we felt treated like another job with a contractor that had more work than they could perform. There was no project manager, just remote customer service agents to try and track down. From the roofers working until 8:00PM, taking off and leaving a trailer parked in our driveway for four days after leaving behind a large mess and damaging our neighbors house, to having a new contract document stuck in front of us with no explanation behind it, no visibility into the steps in the process (turns out we had to be home for an entire day to wait for a city inspection. Again, would have been OK had we known to expect it) and unfulfilled representations to follow-up and provide customer service. Each person at the company was pleasant to deal with, there was just no follow through, and expectations were consistently set and then not met. Typical of a contractor that has too much work and is on fire moving from one job to the next. If this were a product that could be returned, I would have done so. I would not recommend Infinity Solar.

Update December 9, 2023 Can I take away the one lonely star I gave them? I prefer all communication with them to be in writing after having to involve a lawyer. They haven’t responded now to either text or email. Sarah, who for a while gave me hope, is no longer responding. They promised to reimburse me for several months of my loan and have yet to do so. I filled out the tax form (twice). I had a messaged from accounting indicating they knew how much they owed me. When I tried contacting them several weeks later, silence. Update August 26, 2022 I think my system is finally running. It took 10 months. At one point I told four or five people at infinity that I thought there was a problem with the system and each person blew me off and told me everything was fine and functional. Except it wasn’t, as confirmed by PGE. At this point I’d was beyond frustrated and called a lawyer. I still need to follow up about the money they owe me due to the extensive delays. Hopefully that’ll go smoothly and I can put this nightmare behind me. June 2022 My initial installation was done quickly last November (2021) after signing the paperwork in October. It’s now June 2022 and I’m waiting for Washington county to approve an error Infinity Solar made on the paperwork. I get it. People make mistakes and it’s taking the county a long time to approve permits. However, Infinity provides zero communication about the status and my impression was that they didn’t think it was a big deal. After the inspection was rejected in March 2022 due to the Infinite paperwork error (why don’t they have checks in place for paperwork errors?), I heard nothing from them until I called a couple weeks later, in early April, to ask about the resolution. They didn’t bother to let me know they’d corrected the paperwork and sent it back to the county. Unless I send them messages to check, I can only assume it’s still with the county. As far as I know, the approval is complete and it’s sitting on a desk in the Infinity office, being ignored. Would it really be that difficult to send a text message every couple of weeks to let their customers know they’re keeping an eye on it? I dread the thought of anything going wrong with the system in the future considering the lack of customer service already demonstrated. I give them only one star because their error has cost several hundred dollars in lost credits by now and because they don’t seem to think either that or communication are important.

Installers were very nice. However, the panels were put on wrong. We missed out on several months of key energy time. Good luck getting hold of them for reimbursement. It’s been months. They are very quick to sell the system, not so much to service. Their software to monitor doesn’t work well either.

Up front they're responsive and they will get the system installed quickly. They are not so good at filing paperwork timely and if anything is wrong with your system, don't expect them to actually respond or fix it in any reasonable amount of time. We're 5 months post-install and only producing 3/4 of what is expected based on our contract. On top of that, we've missed out on key sunny summer months where we expected to build up a surplus of credits to get us through the winter. I've contacted them over a dozen times and cannot get anyone out to fix the system that I paid a lot of money for. I have filed a complaint with BBB as well.

We hired them to install solar panels. They first installed them the day before Thanksgiving. As of August 10, 2022 they are still not up and working. They had to be reinstalled once because they put them in the wrong place. They broke two which they forgot to replace for months. Still are missing the delay, which they should know they needed to have. Now we have to claim the reimbursement, because of their incompetency, because we have been paying our bank and electric bill. They said they would be done before the first bill came due…almost a year later.

We were very satisfied. From the initial sales contact, to the proposal for our home, the inspections and installation went without a hitch. We appreciated they were local (Redmond) and the Infinity folks coordinated well with the City for inspections and the State for tax deductions. The sales person knew what he was talking about, accounting was quick to answer questions and installers were on time, informative and efficient. We paid cash, but the financing proposal would have kept our electricity cost at its current level. Now our normal winter bill of $50-60 per month is $10. We are expecting the same over summer - our $90-100 will be $10 or so.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Infinity Solar. They installed a 5.4 kw solar panel system on my roof and its already generating more power than I am using in February. The project was completed in a timely and professional manner. Big thanks to Tyler Pellum for his straight forward and honest approach to getting my project started and helping me decide the appropriately sized system for my power needs. All of my house’s appliances run on electricity so I had considered solar panels as a way to cut my utility costs. Infinity Solar was going around offering quotes for solar panels so I took them up on their offer. The following day Tyler Pellum came out to my house with a quote and we talked about the appropriate system size for my power needs. This was the first quote I received for solar panels so I decided to shop around a bit. Tyler told me it was unlikely I would find a lower bid for my project and he turned out to be right. All the other quotes I received were about $5k more for a similar sized solar panel system. One of the other companies I received a quote from had a lot of negative things to say about Infinity Solar, which in my experience was completely unfounded. I did a lot of research so that I could compare apples to apples with these quotes and came to the conclusion that Infinity was offering a lower cost for the same quality solar panel system as its competitors so I took them up on their offer. Once we got the ball rolling, the process went very smoothly. My project manager was very helpful and timely in scheduling different stages of the install and inspection process. It only took about a half day to install the panels and do all of the necessary electrical wiring to hook up the system to my power meter. The install crew was friendly and professional and did neat quality work. The brackets that hold up the solar panels are surprisingly low profile and they install water guards to prevent the supports from causing any leaks in your roof. The installers also set me up with a monitoring system that allows you to see how the panels are preforming so you can tell how much energy you are producing. Its only February so the sun is still low in the sky but my panels are already producing more energy than I use on sunny days, which we get a lot of in Central Oregon. I uploaded a screen shot of my monitoring system and you can see the day that it was turned on and the power spikes up significantly. Once the panels are installed, the township has to inspect them and the power utility needs to come out to reprogram the meter so it tracks how much power is being fed into the grid. Both of these steps need to be completed before your solar panel system can be turned on. From scheduling the panel install to my system being operational took about 3 weeks. Big thanks to all the people at Infinity Solar who helped me get this project completed and cut my power bill to zero!
