IBEX Roof

I needed my roof replaced on a deadline. They met the deadline, did a fine job. They caught several areas that needed repair and performed the repairs. They kept the garden clear of debris and there was nothing damaged - this was very important to me as the garden is fully established and has multiple layers of plantings. They came back and inspected the work, completed one small thing that had not been done yet. Very professional, very fast and very tidy. More expensive than some services but well worth it, the quality is extremely high. They took the time to explain the various features, and there was no pressure for the sale. I'm very pleased with their work and their crew.

They did a good job and the roof is really nice. They communicated well throughout the process. There was a delay in when they were able to come, but it wasn't that big of a deal for us. They fixed an area where we were still getting water coming through, even though it wasn't due to their work--we realized our patio had an issue, but they still fixed it so that water wasn't getting through. They were great to work with. Kurt and Pedro were awesome.

I had a superb experience with Ibex Roof throughout the entire process. Kurt came out to bid on my re-roof job and was knowledgeable, friendly and punctual. He listened to my concerns and we discussed thoroughly what I expected. He gave a good bid and my gut said to go with Ibex and I'm so glad I did! Any questions I had throughout the entire process were answered quickly. Great communication throughout, Felicia was always accessible, helpful and kept in touch with updates until the project end. Derek showed up bright and early on the day of my job and was professional and knowledgeable. He kept me in the loop during the re-roof process which took a day to tear off and replace. The entire crew was great, hard-working and skilled professionals. They take pride in their work and rightly so because they performed miracles on my roof! My roof needed major repairs, they did such an amazing job and I'm completely satisfied with the work. The clean-up after the project was impeccable, I think my house looked a 100 times better after they left. I can't sing their praises enough. I would recommend them to everyone!

The crews communicated well and let us know that the ridge cap needed replacement. We agreed to the scope of work. It took three trips to get the moss taken care of. Each of these was scheduled well and when delays occurred, we were notified promptly. There are definitely cheaper companies around, but the quality of service is also lower.

Crew was great. Unfortunately they got stuck having to reroof during the 100 degree days we had but toughed it out and did a great job. Should have taken a day or 2 but a third day was needed due to the heat they cut out early to limit there exposure to the heat which I was good with. They did a great job.

This was easily one of the best contractor experiences we've had. Everything from the high quality workmanship to cleanliness to punctuality to attitudes were perfect!

Kurt knowledgeable & generous. On time during building process - many questions answered before I asked them. Crew on time both days & worked hard. Jesus, foreman, very good at his job. Much care taken of my garden, including carrying small debris loads toward dragging tarp loads through narrow pathways. Discount given when certain materials were not needed.

They were higher in price than everybody. They had a good presentation and sat down and gave me a quote that was too expensive. Very through and complete, they show you what they would do with products and materials. The estimate was not realistic for the price. They never got back to me after I questioned them on the price. They need follow up when they said they would do so.

The entire process, from coming out to show us colors, to re-roofing and cleaning up was fantastic. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly.

Kirk wrote me back immediately, we chatted and he sent me a refund right away. He was professional & very kind. I just wanted to make sure my previous "F" grade was changed to a much deserved "A" in terms of responsiveness, promptness and professionalism. Thanks!

After several estimates decided to go with IBEX. From the very beginning the process was straight forward and clear. Everyone that I dealt with made sure I knew what to expect from the job, Kurt was easy to discuss things with and gave a thorough estimate, which was exactly what I paid when the job was complete. Jesus and crew were a pleasure to work with and answered all questions, ripped off 3 layers and installed new roof in under 1.5 days! Perfect quality start to finish. Highly recommend!

Utterly smoothly. Kurt came to bid: professional, well-informed, generous with time. Felicia kept in contact about scheduling and other matters. Challenging layout of lot for removing debris from old roof; Jesus, excellent foreman, changed approach and had debris hand-carried in small loads to protect the garden. There was some inadvertent damage to a stone wall--one stone came loose--but they owned up to it and said without my asking that it would be repaired on them. Ibex had the whole job done in a day and 1/2, with steady work 7:30-6 the first day, and thorough clean-up by 2 the following day, including use of a magnet to remove errant nails.

They were quick and efficient, with a very competitive price compared to other bids.

i received several bids to have our house re-roofed but chose IBEX because Kurt came out and answered my questions, gave me solutions and options for me to choose from. There was no aggressive sales pitch or the sky is falling scenario . Kurt was professional and honest he laid out the process and the material that would be used. I asked Kurt to check numerous areas of the roof, chimney, and attic there was always a positive " can do " attitude. The foreman of the job was Jesus, the job was to be completed in 1 day. Jesus was early to the job and wanted to meet me because i needed to leave for work. He was a very inspiring individual he gave me his background and experience on roofing, walked me through what he was going to do and assured me he would take pride and care of my home. He said he would personally make sure my wife and i would be impressed when we returned from work. I left for work knowing my house was in good hands. The roof look great when finished, Jesus went over all aspects of what they did, the clean up was like they were never there. I was very impressed with IBEX from the estimate to the final walk thru . This company communicates with you every step of the way.

Kirk was very professional and helpful in all aspects. While visiting to make the estimate he found an active leak. While unable to stop the leak, he placed a kitchen bowl in the ceiling crawlspace to catch the drips. His follow-up after completion of the work was helpful and timely. The work crew headed by Jesus was efficient and effective in completing the work on schedule while experiencing spring rain and hail storms. They were very conscientious in cleaning up the mess created from removing the old cedar shakes.

The IBEX people were on time, friendly, reasonably priced and very complete in their clean up. They even cleaned out a plugged water spout- no extra charge. We are very pleased!

Kirk (owner) came out to give an estimate the day after I called. His estimate was slightly lower than the other 2 bids.Also, I did not feel like I was on the receiving end of a high pressure sales job. His team arrived promptly on the day agreed upon, swarmed all over our roof and did a great job on both the flat and sloping portions of our unwieldy house. Every day I got to talk with someone in charge or Kirk to keep me up to speed. Jesus and Ben were 2 of the guys that really seemed to be invested in how the job turned out. Our yard looked better at the end of the job than before they started! Then, without prompting, Kirk arranged a follow up visit to make sure we were satisfied. I hope I never have to replace a roof again, but I absolutely know who I will call for the job if I do.

IBEX roof did an exceptional job from start to finish. Kirk, the owner, was always prompt, straightforward and professional. His team did an exceptional job, finishing in one long day. Thorough clean-up. Excellent communication. My roof looks terrific. Highly recommend IBEX!

While we did not hire IBEX because their quote was much higher than others, their customer service is exemplary! When they realized they hadn't immediately responded to a question I had about the quote, they apologized for the delay and went so far above the normal response that I was flabbergasted. I would recommend IBEX to anyone/everyone. Seriously, their customer service is so good that I felt really bad about not hiring them!

After checking with 4 roofers, IBEX was very informative and explained everything from start to finish.

The crew arrived on the day promised, completed the job in one day. The foreman answered questions and was professional. They took care to safeguard my property and cleaned up adequately.

I am questioning what exactly did I get for $279? I feel I paid for an inspection and estimate that are normally free through any roofing company. I'm not happy about that. I feel I paid for 5-6 , maybe 8 shingles out of that $279 and I feel that is overpriced. Responsiveness initially was great. Originally I was told it would be the end of April before someone could come out and take a look. Felicia was able to move it up and I do appreciate that. Ben was scheduled to come out but the appointment got cancelled as his wife went into labor. Ben did come out a few days later, albeit a little later than the agreed upon time. He completed an inspection of my roof (using my ladder) and told me it really couldn't be repaired. I asked him to send me an estimate to replace the roof and he said he would send to me over the weekend. I didn't receive the estimate or a requested credit application until I sent a message through Angies List. Additionally, I questioned in the same message what exactly was I getting for my $279. A few days after that, Felicia sent the credit app, Ben sent the estimate and he also called me and stated that he would be replacing some shingles. This Friday 4/7 unbeknownst to me until I stepped outside the door that morning; Brendon/Brandon (?) arrived and I guess was sent to replace the 5-6 missing shingles and some items on the ridgecap. I had no idea he was coming out. He said he would only be a few minutes. I felt it was too dangerous for anyone to be on any roof at that time as the wind was blowing quite strongly. In fact it blew his ladder over. I came outside and put the ladder upright so he could get off the roof. Later that morning, I noticed he left shingle material by my front door. Why? Shouldn't he have asked where he should dispose of it or take it away himself? The Ibex estimate itself was in line with other roofing company estimates I received. However; I didn't have to pay the other roofing companies for an inspection and estimate. Also there are some specific items needed for my roof type that were not addressed by Ben during his inspection and were not included in his estimate. These items were discussed with me and part of the estimate provided by another roofing company. I would respectfully request at least $200 of the $279 be refunded to me.
