I have used them for over 3 years. It has been a struggle. They never show up when they are supposed to and do not stay the time amount that I pay for. When I recently challenged a poor job where the owner's workers said they were at my home for over 2 1/2 hours but were there an hour and a half (I know this because my boys were home), she sent me a text saying her crew could not clean for me anymore because they could not please me. This is the first time I made her come back an clean over. Her workers lied to her about doors being locked (our bedroom doors don't lock) and they could not clean those rooms. I was appalled when I checked on here that her overall grade was an F. Do not hire them.

Good Arm has cleaned for me two times. I was on the schedule for 8:15 the morning of November 18. I rearranged my morning so that I could make sure to be home for them when they arrived. I hurried home from dropping off my son at school and asked my eldest son to let them in if they arrived before me. I got home and was surprised that they were not at my house. I waited and waited and waited. I figured they were just running late. I was surprised they had not called to let me know they were running late. Finally, at the one hour mark, I called Maria (the owner) to find out what was going on. She did not answer, nor did she call me back. I sent her a text to follow up and she did not reply. I thought this was really unprofessional and disappointing. I was frustrated because I had wasted my entire morning waiting for them to arrive. I finally decided to call again but oddly, the second time I called, my call didn't ring the same number of rings...as if I got sent to voicemail deliberately. I felt like Maria was avoiding answering my calls. I called again and left a voicemail letting her know that my time too was important and that I had spent an entire morning waiting for them to come. Around 11:00, Maria returned my call to tell me that the girls refused to come because I was "too hard to please" and that the girls didn't like that I checked their work which I thought to be odd considering that it is MY house and I'm paying someone to provide a service. Why should I be made to feel like I am doing something wrong if I want to take a peak at their quality of service? And, if they are doing everything they are supposed to, why would they mind that someone checks in on them? I found this to be a bit of a red flag. Apparently, the two girls threatened to quit if they were made to come again. So, instead of letting me know they weren't planning on coming, they just let me wait all morning for the them. What happened was the last time they came to clean, they had arrived before I got home. I was surprised that they were already finished with the first bathroom so I took a peak at the bathroom. The shower was not cleaned. It looked as though they just moved things around and ran the water. I was very nice about it and told the gal that the bathroom didn't look as though it had been cleaned and I didn't even ask her to clean it right then even though I had paid for it to be cleaned. I said NEXT TIME, could they make sure to scrub the entire shower. I even took a sponge and scrubbed the large area that I was talking about to show her and some soap scum came off. I think this is the thing that upset that gal and she interpreted this as me "being too hard to please." Unfortunately, when I spoke to Maria, she didn't seem to care about my explanation and was more concerned about the gals not quitting than making sure they provided quality cleaning and customer service. The other thing that I found appalling was that the gals were dishonest and told Maria that they were at my house for over an hour...an hour and 15 minutes is what they told her. I watched that clock and they were here no more than 45 minutes. In my last phone call with Maria, she said she had another crew in Camas that may be able to come and that she would text me. Well, that was on November 18 and it is now December. I'm still waiting to hear from her. The problem with this company starts with the owner, Maria. Her attitude is reflected in the attitude of her employees. This company hasn't demonstrated to me that they are honest or shown they they care about their customers. Frankly, the fact that I asked the gals to do a job they didn't do correctly should not have been a problem. The fact that I decided to check their work, should not have been a problem either. I was made to feel as though I was in the wrong and they communicated through their actions and the way this whole thing was handled that they do not care about the quality of their work, they are dishonest, and the fact that I'm still waiting on Maria's text shows the lack of follow through. I would not recommend Good Arm Cleaning.
