house cleaning

Description of Work: Danna has a sweet personality, but she doesn't know how to clean. She missed many areas, which she did not touch at all. For example, laundry room, inside the main guest closet, all the mirrors, did not vacuum many places in the living room and bedrooms. I just wasted my money, I need to hire somebody else again this week!

house cleaning
 + -1 moreWe own a 2100 sq ft home that is 2 stories with a daylight basement. We have 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. We also have 3 very snobby cats that do not like strangers. They took to Danna like a duck takes to water. I was getting ready for surgery and wanted to whip the house in shape so I knew my husband could keep it up while I was in the hospital and after I got home. I have a lot of glass tables, knick-knacks and kitty hair around the house. I told her I did not need her to clean our master bedroom suite or the den. She dusted, vacuumed, swept, mopped, waxed the floor, cleaned the hardwood entry with a wood oil, removed all the pet hair off of the family room furniture and got a nasty wine stain out of white carpet. We gave her a key to our home and while we were on vacation she came in and cleaned the kitchen and 3 main bathrooms as a surprise for me when I got home. She didn't charge us anything. It was a "get well" gift. We have become friends and I enjoy the time we spend together.
Description of Work: Danna was referred by a friend. I called her and said I was having surgery and wanted to whip my house in shape before the surgery. She came to my home, gave me a bid, I asked her when she could do it and I was shocked that she had time that same day. She vacuumed, swept, mopped, dusted, cleaned 3 of the 4 bathrooms, did not complain about the cat hair from our babies, cleaned the spare bedroom. While she did this I did our den and master bedroom and bathrooms. I have a lot of glass tables and knick-knacks. She was there about 3 hours. I have set a contract for cleaning every 6-8 weeks, for the general areas. She noticed all the Partylite items I had and she told me she is a Partylite consultant. It is great I made a new friend, have someone that is helping me deep clean and I can get any of my Partylite items through her. In fact I am doing a party tomorrow.
