I had used Compass Electric before. That is why I called back this time. Matt Bay called me back and scheduled a visit to scope the job. He provided an estimate and we agreed a time and date. Matt and his crew arrived on time and completed the job the same day. It went beautifully, with Matt and his team each doing his part to get the job done. It went flawlessly.

It went perfectly. He showed up when he should have. They people did a great a job and he checked in with me after the service was complete.

I did not get anything for my $175.00 and no response from Angie's list regarding the problem. What about your automatic complaint procedure that is supposed to kick in on a C rating or lower? I cannot get anything but an automated response from Angie's list. Just another fraud and ripoff!. Certainly not the place to go for reliable contractors. Such a disappointmen.

I used Compass Electric. They did come out. It went really well. It was about $800 I guess but they did a good job.

I lost power to all the power outlets in my living room, outside outlets and outside lighting late on New Years Eve. They fit me in on a day that they had a previous job earlier than expected. Austin worked tirelessly until he found the problem with my power outage. He never gave up on trying to find an elusive problem and was willing to explain what he was doing to troubleshoot the problem. The warranty that they offer on their work can't be beat.

Was prompt and gave detail information regarding our request for additional outlets in the garage for shop use. He did a great job adding to our electrical panel and adding the outlets. Had all the supplies needed so it went smoothly. Because we asked for more than what the Angie's deal was for (we knew that ahead of time) he explained what the Angie's List purchase would cover and what the additional cost would be.

Matt was the most thorough of those we contacted in educating us about the project. His pricing was also comparable to the other low bidder. He has a crew but does small jobs like this himself. When the job was done even though he checked some other circuits his time ran under the estimate, so he didn't charge us extra. Matt shows up on time or if running late he contacts you. Any contractor will run into snags, and I don't have a problem with that. He always kept me in the loop.Such integrity is much appreciated. We moved up here a couple years ago and are happy we've found our electrician.

Compass Electric was terrific from making the appointment to the final good-bye after the work was completed. Austin arrived on time, was professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. I live in a house built in 1920, and things aren't always the way they seem. The wall behind the kitchen closet is a smaller closet in the bathroom with an outlet already existing. Had everything aligned perfectly.... well, that didn't work so it was necessary to go up into the attic and work some magic. I now have a very neat outlet that looks like it could have always been there, and gets constant use, charging all sorts of things out of sight but in an easily accessed location. Austin did a great job maneuvering in a tight space, and when he was finished he put the unwieldy piece of plywood back perfectly, and cleaned everything up. Then he went to work under the sink to install an outlet for my new disposal. Once again, tight space, and this time down to the basement to access the electrical panel. When it was finished he cleaned up and then happily answered my questions about the switch (button) that turns the disposal on. I met a very nice person who did a very professional job and now I know exactly who to call the next time I need electrical work done. I highly recommend Compass Electric for any electrical work you need done.

I'd give them an A on everything. We would definitely use them in the future. The guy was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He shared a lot of knowledge which had enabled me to completely replace all the outlets and switches in my house myself. He was very good. He was not in a big hurry. He explained everything. He was just great. He gave us a break on the price.

They contacted us very shortly after we bought the deal and we arranged a time for the job. They arrived punctually and went to work after I described what we wanted done. I had used them before on a project and have been very satisfied with their work on both occasions. I would highly recommend Compass Electric and would not hesitate to use them again.

These guys are awesome. The previous owner of my house ran a bunch of wires for satellite dish on the outside the house. They removed the old wires and ran new wire under the house. I cannot see the wires at all. They were very professional.

It took two visits to complete the work. The first was needed to diagnose the problem. The second to install the switch and light. On both visits Matt showed up on time and was very professional and pleasant. He took the time to explain the overheating problem and my two options for fixing it. I chose both, a new switch and replacing the incadescent bulbs with LEDs. He also replaced the broken over the counter light. On his second visit, both tasks were completed in about an hour. I was very happy with him as a person and his work as a professional. I would highly recommend him and his company.

Matt and Austin arrived on time and Austin did the actual work. He removed the old fan, climbed a 20' ladder to cut out the new exhaust port, installed the cover. We had some issues with a loose outlet in the bathroom and Austin replaced that. In the process we discovered some problems with the GFCI circuit and Austin corrected that with a new GFCI outlet and we were charged for the part only. Afterwards Austin cleaned up and gave us some advice for maintaining the new fan. Overall, great service!! Highly recommended.for their responsiveness.

Arrived as promissed, very professional and took the time to answer all my questions.

We have power in all outlets but the hallway. The two fixtures in the hallway were not reinstalled. We purchased new fixtures at the recommendation of the electrician, installed them, but those lights are not working. I would like to request that electrician come take a look at this issue.

The guys were very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions. They did a great job on all the misc stuff they came out for. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Workman arrived on time. Given the added work I wanted, we had to prioritize which job to do first. The recessed lighting went better than expected. I expected a whole lot of dust and pretty much a half day to complete the job. He was moving at a steady pace and kept the dust down to a bare minimum. Great! As for the other work, he was also quick. Over all, very pleased with Compass Electric.

Matt was very punctual and professional. He understood my problems right away and was able to make all the repairs I needed. He also gave me recommendations for future work needed and an estimate of cost. I will definitely call him for the future work. The cost was very reasonable and he takes credit cards, so I didn't have to use my cash for the work.

Electrician had to go get a new wall switch which turned out to be the wrong one. He returned the next day with the right one. He put the fan together, dismantled the old one and took it away. The electrician could have been a bit more professional in appearence. He wore distressed and dirty blue jeans on both days.

Matt Bay is great. He is always responsive. He did a few electrical things I needed done. Will always call him for all of my electrical work.
