Description of Work: I live in a new house with all arc fault circuits and was experiencing an ongoing nuisance arc fault trip. Mason was able to figure out the problem. Was my fluorescent fixtures in the garage. He replaced my old fluorescents and replaced them with low wattage LED fixtures. It seems like the problem is solved. Mason and his crew are top notch, and I highly recommend Compass Electric!

Description of Work: Bought a coupon for $175/2 hours. They replaced some light fixtures with new ones I purchased. I rated C for punctuality because they were 2 hrs late.I needed more light fixtures hung than 2 hrs would allow so I was told they would give me a price for those to do another day. The price was too high so I decided not to use them for that,but the work done for the $175 was done well.

 + -1 moreMatt Bay, of Compass Electric, is a 5-star electrician. He responded immediately to my call, quickly provided an estimate, and scheduled an appointment for within a week of my inquiry. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely capable. He took the time to explain the existing malfunctioning system in detail, and the process by which he was repairing the defects. Additionally, he patiently explained the differences between the options for light bulbs, and actually drove to the store to purchase my choice, as I was unable to disengage from a project to purchase them, myself. When I preferred a different sample bulb than the ones I had originally selected, he returned to the store to pick up the other bulbs. Then he offered to instal all the bulbs, including into a light fixture hanging from an extremely high, vaulted, 2-story ceiling. I would definitely engage his services again, and highly recommend him to the community for all your electrical needs. Steve and Nancy
Description of Work: Repaired three non-functioning outside lights; installed a new dimmer for the dining room light; removed the old bedroom light fixture and installed a new one; removed an old bathroom light fixture and installed a new one; drove (twice) to a lighting supply establishment to purchase new LED lights for two of my rooms, as I did not have the time to drive there myself (he returned the first batch, as I decided I wanted a different warmth to the bulbs); installed the new light bulbs in two rooms, including in a vaulted, 2-story room fixture. The price included 5 LED light bulbs.

Description of Work: I fully to intend to use Matt again for any future electrical needs, as well as recommending him to my friends. He was punctual, professional, and friendly. His esthetic input improved the outcome of my project. The job went a little quicker than he'd anticipated so and he charged me less than quoted. He even looked at a dimmer switch in another room that was flickering just because I had mentioned that it was bothering me and he was concerned.

 + -1 moreIt went well. I would recommend Matt and Compass. I emailed Matt to see if he would install a fixture for me. He wrote me back immediately with a couple questions. I called the next day per his questions and he was very helpful at leading me to better solution (me going to get the fixture first and having him just install it. He also referred me to a T8 halogen instead of the old T12 I had). He showed up on time, and even confirmed the appt.
