Description of Work: I wish all contractors were this responsive and attentive to detail. Matt is a great communicator and does excellent work. We'll certainly use him again and recommend him to others in the neighborhood!

Description of Work: I used the Compass Electric LLC for electrical panel repair.

Description of Work: Replaced a receptacle and hardwired two flourescent lights that were just plugged in inside the garage. They mounted them to the ceiling instead of the chains they hung on. Eric arrived on time and went straight to work. Even though I purchased this deal for half price, I have hired them in the past at their regular rate. I recommend them highly. They are honest, professional, and reliable.

Description of Work: We had Compass Electric add additional plug-ins to a garage. Matt was very helpful in helping us understand what the options were and what the work would entail. Compass Electric arrived on time and Matt and his employee worked efficiently to get the job done. Matt was good about answering questions even as he worked. We are pleased with the finished project.

Description of Work: He put up new lights (which I had already purchased) in our walk-in closet and put up a new fan in our bedroom. I asked him some questions regarding all the light sockets in our family room -some of them didn't work. He not only answered all of the questions, but showed me the reason for my problems. There was light switch in the hallway that had been off.

Description of Work: Fix some switches, and everything went very well, great company to work with.

Description of Work: We called Matt to help us figure out why we had three outlets in our family room that weren't working. He used a tracing device that locates live wires inside the wall, but it looked like he would have to run a new line around the outside to re-connect the outlets. Before giving up, however, he checked "one more thing" and found a wire with a hidden break inside the insulation behind the outlet. There was just enough wire to re-connect it and the problem was solved. He also noticed that one of our circuit breakers was a 20 amp unit that was connected to wiring that is only rated for 15 amps, and corrected that problem.

Description of Work: I needed a switch at the top of my stairs to turn on a light at the bottom of the stairs. He came up with a remote switch that works and was much cheaper than pulling wires to do the same thing. He also switched out some outlets, changed my thermostat, and tested a lamp that was shorting out.
