Columbia flooring

We hired Elvio to refinish our entryway to kitchen area oak flooring. We had to ask and remind his workers to cover door entry to living room areas to be clear from dust i asked before they started and 2 hours into them starting i checked in and had to ask them to cover the entryways it was all dusty at that point they did not do it...., once job floors finished we noticed allot of details that where wrong and when i did walk through with Elvio he did not want to fix, several more than 15 spots we taped for him to see that no wood filler was placed in holes, he said that wasnt part of the job and wood was old.. our home was built in 2009 and oak floor was in great condition just needed to be refinished to replace color. He told me its to late to do anything he would have to refinish the entire floor and it would take to long and cost him money out of his pocket, there is a good size piece if wood that is sticking out and i told him if i mop it will get wet underneath and it will peal what can you do about it he said nothing maybe with time it will go down (it has not )...i was in shock by his reponses and lack of accountability and willing to back up his work 100% ,also workers and him left oil stains on door ways literal hand prints and in my front entryway outside a huge oil stain, i told him i haf oainy and i guess i can paint iy since he The lack of willingness of him taking care of anything was incredibly disappointing. He had 2 guys working for him and one of the guys needed supervision clearly if noy he just stood around and took time away from the other worker trying to work and we mentioned this to Elvio since he was off and on coming in to help or supervis job. Just disappointed overall with quality.

Carpet was wet for four days. Specific spots on carpet were discussed in advance and they were still just as visible. Technician damaged corners of wall around stairs. We received a call one week later requesting that we stop payment on our check and send a new check. No offer to cover the $31 stop payment charge. We had to have carpet and stairs re-cleaned.
