Description of Work: The cleaning project was a bachelor dad's 7 room house. I had only purchased four hours of time, so this meant that we had to prioritize which areas should be addressed. The house has all tile or wood floors, so one of the tasks was to mop all the floors, a big task in itself. The kitchen and bath were also cleaned (very well). The work was done efficiently and very satisfactorily.

Description of Work: Clean and green had been referred to us by a friend, so when I saw an angies list big deal for them, I bought it. They did an amazing job cleaning our home. So I set them up for cleaning every two weeks. Getting them scheduled was a bit difficult / frustrating as the office manager seems rather disorganized; twice I was expecting them to have cleaned my home and they didn't show, as I wasn't on their schedule that day (and I had not changed the day/time) Each time they made it right with me, and the last few times have been uneventful. They do a wonderful job and I love how clean my home is when I get home from work.

+ -1 moreThis company is owned by Steve and Norma. Any positive comments I have are about Norma who usually does the cleaning. Steve was always difficult to work with and he does all the scheduling. Also, I often leave notes for my cleaners and it took them forever to tell me that she didn't read English very well. The first two years went fairly well. However, I was really not happy with their services the final six months but I kept them as I was getting ready to move and and sell my house. Before that I put up with the other stuff as they had done a good job cleaning. That had also gone downhill lately and I realized they had started to scratch all the white baseboards on the floor (vacuum possibly). I have used a few cleaners for the past 20 years and never had the problems I had with Steve. We want to be on a regular schedule and we stick to it. The few times a year I had to reschedule due to a holiday or company coming into town it was exceedingly difficult to get back on my same week. Norma did not like my dogs to be around when she cleaned. So I had the dogs set up to be elsewhere on the same day. Even though I explained that many many times to Steve it never registered with him that was why we needed to stay on the same week. It wasn't like they would be paid less as it still would average out to twice that month even if it meant I paid them to come two weeks in a row. My final interaction with him was very unpleasant as he did not recall a conversation that he and I had only two days prior!
Description of Work: We used their service for about 3 years. Cleaned 3000 sq. ft. home every other week. When the owner, Norma came out with the crew the house was cleaned very well. Not as good when she wasn't there. Did not like it that they insisted on using their own vacuum cleaner. Also, the time they showed up fluctuated a lot and that was difficult as my husband worked from home and was on business calls.

+ -1 moreI purchased an Angie's List "Big Deal" promo that stated 4 hours of cleaning for $79.99. I bought the deal because I was having a party, working very long hours, and didn't want to worry about cleaning my house. When I called to schedule the service, he stated there was some confusion with the promo and that the fine print said I was supposed to buy two. He said he would honor it anyway but made statements about how he was going to have to schedule another service in my area in order to make money on the deal. One hour before the scheduled service, he called to cancel for "business reasons". By this time it was too late for me to get someone else in time for my party and I ended up having to do it myself. He did offer to reschedule but I didn't need the service any more and really didn't want to deal with him any longer.
Description of Work: No services actually performed - company canceled scheduled service.

Description of Work: I hired them to do the $45 Angie's special. That was a mistake. They had 2 hours and didn't get to any rooms besides the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. Even then, they didn't these 3 rooms clean. At the end, I had to ASK to get them to mop the kitchen floor. But even worse, their "trainee" spilled some of my cleaning products on the the hall carpeting. I saw her spill it and so did the co-owner Norma....They left, and about 2 hours later, they came back (without letting me know that they were returning) and demanded to look at the stains. I let them look, and as Norma kept repeating "it wasn't there before", ( apparently not realizing that she was only verifying the fact that their company was responsible for the stains!") the man took photos of the stains. I live alone with no pets so there was no questioning the source of the stains. A day or 2 later, a representative from another company showed up and looked at the stains, then left without commenting . I had an e-mail from the owner around this time, asking me to give him some time to see if the carpet could be dyed. After that, I have heard NOTHING from them, although this "cleaning" took place on July 30th, and it is now September 12th.

Description of Work: I dealt with the owner, Stephen Duquette, directly. He gave me a quote over the phone and we scheduled a cleaning. After I spoke with him, I looked at his website and found a coupon for "2 hours - $44.99". When he called to confirm the cleaning date (already set), I asked to use the coupon that had an expiration date of 10/31/12. He said that he already gave me a quote, but he'd have to "think about it and call me back". What's to think about? The answer is YES or NO. He did call back later, but did not leave a message. I assumed we were still on for the next day. Needless to say, they were a No-Show. When I called to find out what happened, Stephen made excuses: 1) "I left a message" (no); 2) "we're discontinuing that coupon"; 3) "I did not hear back from you". I received poor customer service with a side of bad business practices. Leaves me wondering if 2 hours of coupon-cleaning is sub-par to "full-price" cleaning...? Will never use a business that will not honor their own coupons.

Description of Work: We purchased 2 Angie's List specials ($45 for 2 hours of house cleaning) for a total of 4 hours of work by two people. We have a 20 year old, single story, 2,000 sq ft house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, and wall to wall carpeting throughout. Jessica and Jessica came with their own equipment and cleaning products. After I showed them around the house, they asked if there were any particular areas that I wanted them to concentrate on. Our particular challenge was in the kitchen, where the previous owners had used an open grill on the Jenn-Air stove, and I had been unable to remove the built-up grease on the walls and woodwork in the area around the stove and the bay window. Jessica went to work on the grease with her own cleaner and was able to remove it without damaging the paint or the woodwork. She also cleaned the multiple panes of glass in the chandelier above our kitchen table. Other work included dusting, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, wiping down window sills and tracks, and cleaning both bathrooms, including the tile counters and the tub surround, and the wall-length mirror. Both Jessicas worked very hard and did a superb job. Our house sparkled when they were finished. The ladies also were very professional and courteous. I would definitely hire them again, and would consider using them on a regular basis.

+ -1 moreThey were AWESOME! I was able to get my requested day and time. I was also called with a reminder, which was appreciated. The situation wasn't ideal as we were only partially moved into the house, and were not on site. Additionally our kitchen contractor was there working unexpectedly. We left a key in a combi box and instructions in the mailbox. They far exceeded my expectations given the circumstances. Floors were sparkling clean, all the bathrooms were scrubbed out, they even cleaned all the light switches! Can't say enough about how excited I was when I saw the results. It has made transition into our new home so much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and would use them again in a heartbeat
Description of Work: I bought the Angie's List deal to have 2 hours of cleaning done for $45 (I bought two), so I was able to get $180 of service for $90. I requested that general house cleaning be completed for a house that my family was in the process of moving into. .

If I do call them, I would sit down and tell them what I was dissatisfied with and be more thorough in telling them what I expected from them and then go through the house when they finished to see if everything was done to my satisfaction. Description of Work: Three ladies came to do the work. Two of the ladies took direction from the third. They dusted, and vacuumed the whole inside of the house except for our sunroom, clean the two and a half bathrooms and kitchen. I asked them to use my vacuum because it was new and did a better job than the one they had that they carried on their back. They went over the draperies in the living room and dining room. They wiped down the cupboards in the kitchen, cleaned the microwave and wiped out the inside of the regular oven. I did not ask them to clean windows, but they did dust the blinds. They put something on the vinyl floors that left a coating that attracted dirt and was a problem after they left. It also left the floors looking dull. They did work hard and did what I asked. We have a 2400 square foot home and for the first time deep cleaning it was a fare price. I'm not sure what they would charge for weekly or every other week cleaning. I planned on having them back until I started having problems with the product they put on the vinyl floors. I cannot remember how long they were here, probably three to four hours.

The first time cleaning was more expensive as it included very thorough details including the window tracks. I will have them back to start a monthly cleaning. I like that they bring their own, eco-friendly products.
