If you have any plumbing related needs just call Brad. He's busy because he's the best around. Prompt, courteous, fair, and best of all very very thorough. I've had him out before to do some minor work. This time a little more involved. After a while some even more involved stuff. He shows up when he says. Does what he says. And charges a fair price for it.

This company is amazing. I called Brad and told him the problem and he said it sounded like the disposal was no longer any good. He did not say over the phone that he knew for sure what was wrong. Asked me if I would like for him to bring out a new disposal and I said yes. Said he would be there in 15 minutes of the call. Five minutes later he was knocking on my door while I was still looking at the Angie's List web site. I answered the door and told him kiddingly, I could not let him start because he said 15 minutes. He and his son came in and looked everything over, tested the disposal, did everything needed to be done to determine that it was the disposal. Replaced the disposal and while he was there I showed him a leaky faucet on the kitchen sink. He worked on it probably about half an hour and only charged me for the part - an O-ring washer that was way down inside of the faucet. Very congenial and a pleasure to converse with. Talk about out standing service. This was an example of just that. If you have any plumbing needs, please give Brad a call.

Brad Christensen is FANTASTIC! Brad and his helper Luke came to our home and were extremely courteous, polite & professional. They donned shoe covers at the door and I showed them the three areas where work was needed. They quickly and efficiently went to work - removing and replacing a non-functioning & leaking kitchen garbage disposal with a new unit; repairing a toilet valve/flush mechanism and clearing two clogged drains in our bathroom. They worked quickly and efficiently while cutting NO CORNERS on workmanship! Brad tested everything he worked on to ensure it worked properly with no leaks or problems. Christensen Plumbing is who you want if you want TRUSTWORTHY GREAT QUALITY, EFFICIENT WORK at REASONABLE PRICING! They are the BEST & they're the ONLY plumbers I'll call if I need plumbing experts!

They showed up on time. Checked out the faucet and all underlying issues. Turned off the water supply and checked the water heater to make sure it didn't need to be turned off. Disconnected the faucet from the plastic lines it was hooked into. Put in need plastic line connection made from superior material that won't become brittle like the old material did. Replaced the faucet and its mechanism with a superior faucet. Checked all fittings and then turned the water supply back on to make sure all was in good working order. Finally cleaned up the work area and made sure all was ok. Brad Christensen is from a 3 generation family of plumbers and started plumbing with his Dad on new construction builds. Today his son was with him and has begun his apprenticeship program to become a journeyman plumber like his Dad. I was very happy with all aspects of the work as they were speedy, neat, cordial and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

As far as I can tell (job was complete just a couple hours ago), the shower no longer is leaking and it has a new part. Shower head & faucet was installed 11 years ago. Overall, I would definitely recommend Christensen Plumbing to anyone needing plumming services. Thanks Brad and Luke!

Had a leak appear on the ceiling of our family room from an upstairs shower. They knew exactly what it was and promptly fixed it.

There are no words that can express our appreciation and confidence in Brad. Brad was always right on-time when we expected him. He did the work in a very professional manner and at a fair price. He always went above and beyond the call of duty in the work that he performed. Brad originally came out to cap off the natural gas line and water lines as we began demolition on our old kitchen. Once everything we was torn out, Brad came back and installed new water supply values in the kitchen and bathroom and moved some piping in the walls. During the course of the project, we found out that we had a cracked gray water line in the crawl space. When we called Brad, he made a special trip to come out and replace the damaged pipe. Brad came again to put the plumbing back together again in the kitchen including installing the faucet, the soap dispenser, the garbage disposal and dishwasher drain. He had to make some extra trips to pick up supplies (not his fault), but again he was always very fair with his pricing. There is no one we would ever call again for plumbing work other that Brad Christensen, we highly recommend him.

He was reasonable, right on target, did a good job and we would use them again. He came in and fixed it and didn't waste any time. I would recommend him.

Brad gave an honest estimate about the work that was needed. He also offered me the option to fix it myself if I wanted to - and then gave me pointers on what to do if I wanted to go that route. He was very knowledgeable and didn't charge me for his time since I opted to do the work myself. He even offered to help out later on if my diy project ran into a snag. It was really great to meet someone who was honest about the work needed, what it might cost and how I could save money doing it myself. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.

Found Christensen Plumbing on Angie's list. When i first called them I had to leave a message. To their credit i did receive a call back with in a hour. Was able to schedule an appointment to replace my water heater, two outside water spickets, and check on a pipe that was banging due to a new washing machine. Before the appointment, it was nice to be able to communicate via text messaging and photo sharing. They arrived on time, replaced the water heater, was informed that i didn't need to replace the spickets, and we were able to resolve the banging pipes. They were clean, efficient, and very professional. Nice to know that their are still excellent independent tradesmen out there.

It went very well. Everything was done to spec. There are no leaks now. We have a new, rerouted and much cleaner plumbing (all pipes replaced). All work tested. No leaks detected after 4 weeks usage. Excellent job.

Over the weekend, the shower head pipe in our master bath broke while adjusting its direction. First thing Monday morning, we called Brad. He'd fixed another problem for us a couple of years ago. We didn't expect that he'd be able to get to us right away, so we figured we'd have to wait a few days. But he said he could actually be here in two hours or less! And then he arrived even SOONER than expected! We were fearing that our plastic shower stall (or fiberglass, whatever it is) would need to be torn apart and replaced, but it turns out that Brad could fix the problem right through the existing hole. A thread on the pipe had sheared off, and he had a replacement in the truck. He got the job done before 10:00 am! In and out, just like that, our worst fears allayed. No muss, no fuss! And the charge was totally acceptable. To tell you the truth, we've got a crummy old shower that doesn't look clean no matter how thoroughly you try to clean it, and I would dearly love to have the whole thing torn out and replaced, but right now we just can't afford to do that. Brad was totally professional and polite, and he concentrated ONLY on the problem at hand. He didn't try to suggest anything beyond meeting the immediate need. For that reason, when the time comes for us to actually DO the remodel that I'd love to do, I will not hesitate at all in calling Christensen Plumbing!

I had questions for Brad prior to the appointment and he was very prompt in responding each time. Brad came right on time. He has many years of experience and it was apparent. He removed the old garbage disposal and installed the new one. Very neat and professional. I had also purchased a faucet at Lowes - for our garage sink that I also wanted installed. Brad knew right away that it wouldn't look right given the configuration of the sink. Our original faucet had a "chatter" with the hot water. He knew immediately what it was and corrected it. I'm keeping our original faucet on the garage sink, thanks to Brad. We will definitely call Brad first next time we need a plumber.

I called the contact number and after many rings it was sent to voice mail with instructions to leave a name and number for a call back. Brad did call back four (4) hours later which I must give him some credit for. I have experienced so many contractors in the Portland/Vancouver area who never return calls that I am often surprised when they do call back. Brad indicated that he is the only one in the business and he is booked with appointments and his first available appointment was on the 31st of July. Since this was the 16th of July that day would not work for either our plants or me. In short, if you are in need of a plumber right away, Christensen Plumbing should not be your first call.
