June 2020 Cherry roofing replaced the roof of a house I would later purchase in October 2020. Pre purchase inspections found a bunch of black mold due to poor ventilation. Cherry Roofing came out and added some venting and replaced some (not all) of the plywood with mold growth. I had a reinspection and again a large amount of mold was found. Seller claimed Cherry roofing would fix the issue and it was covered under warranty. A short time after closing I had cherry roofing out and they claimed they could find no mold, despite an inspection report with time stamped photos of the mold. Long story short due to having a newborn child and the pandemic following up again fell off my radar. January 2024 my roof had a major leak that caused 70K in damages. Cherry Roofing came out again and of course claimed the roof looked fine and it was a freak thing that was not preventable called an ice dam. August 2024, I contacted multiple other roofers to mitigate risks of future leaks. The roofers both told me there was inadequate ventilation in the addict, mold and that future leaks could be prevented with preventative measures. Both roofers recommended that I make Cherry roofing fix the mold in the addict and add proper ventilation. I had an inspector come and reinspect the roof and of course again find mold. Both the inspector and the roofers reported that the mold was not difficult to find and were not sure why Cherry roofing would have any trouble locating it. I had Cherry roofing return and low and behold this time they located the mold. They immediately began blaming anything and everything for the mold expect for their roofing job of course. They claimed the roofers were trying to get me to pay them for unnecessary repairs (both roofers said I should make cherry roofing repair it and never gave me quotes). They tried to blame my air ducts leaking into the addict (I had a new furnace installed in 2023 and a pressure test completed, no leaks found). They then blamed my insulation and continued to try to convince me it was caused by anything but their shotty work. Long story short they did a horrible job. 3-month-old roofs done properly would not have mold growth, especillay during the summer months!!!. They are refusing to replace the moldy plywood they obviously did not replace when replacing the roof. They refuse to add more ventilation. I now have to pay out of my pocket to hire another roofing company to fix my roof and a mold remediation company to remove the mold. This will likely cost me more than 10k….. Terrible company, terrible experience, stay away for your own good.

Chad did the estimate and repair along with one other associate. On time did a great job and cleaned up very nicely.

It went well! This was the second time I had used Cherry Roofing for any roofing issues that I had. Chad, the roofing technician that came, was friendly, professional, and straight forward with me on what needed to be done. The pricing was reasonable. He changed all boot flanges quickly.

We were only expecting to get an estimate on that day. Chad said he had all he needed to fix it right then! From phone call to completed job, these folks are who you want! We will use them for all of our roofing needs from now on! Thank you for your kindness, professionalism and wonderful job on our roof!

Cherry Roofing (then RoofToppers) did our roof about 4-5 years ago (after about 20 years of original shingle life). The new shingles, made by CertainTeed, had problems and were in the process of failing. Cherry dealt with CertainTeed, got most of the cost covered under the guarantee, and did the re-roof. If anything, the quality of the roofing this time was better than they did 5 years ago. It took 3 1/2 days, start to finish. They cleaned up at the end of each day, leaving our property as if they had not been there. The cost was very reasonable. After the repayment from CertainTeed, we paid about $2,500.

On the first visit Cherry measured the skylight, got the model number and sealed the glass to prevent more leaking. On the second visit they brought the skylight that the manufacturer thought was the correct replacement. Since the manufacturer did not have records of its model numbers going back over 20 years (???), the replacement model was a guess. It was not the right size, too big. Cherry Roofing did detailed measurements this time. On the third trip the new skylight was the correct one. The replacement proceeded without pause. In a short time the new skylight was installed. It works perfectly and looks good with our other skylights - not a perfect match, since it looks more modern, but it's very close. Cherry also reviewed the roof materials that they had used when they put on a replacement roof in 2009. They knew that the shingle manufacturer had had some troubles with that particular roofing. They took samples of the degraded roofing and ultimately, after negotiations with the manufacturer and the insurance company, the roof will probably be replaced. We'll let you know how that goes. We give Cherry the best possible recommendation.

I was very happy with the communication done with Cheery roofing. I scheduled the appointment with delightful representative by phone and Chad was on time and very quick to diagnose the problem. The previous homeowners had done quick repair job on the leaky roof that resulted in mold and rot in the roof and attic. The visit was on a Thursday and the work was performed on the following Monday. The finished product looks great and the service was excellent. Everything was cleaned up and looks like new again. I would very much recommend Cherry for your roofing needs.

15 minutes before Chad was supposed to show up another periosn called and said he got tied up and couldn't come that day. My husband took 2 hours off of work to be there for him. Very unprofessional in my opinion. He should of still came even if it was later. Now we are a week later and no repair. Very disapointed.

When Chad arrived, he asked questions about our suspicions of a leak, went to look at the location outside, then asked about attic access. He spent time looking for leak evidence in the attic, and took pictures of what he found, which was not a leak, but mold on the older insulation and around the vent outlets. He then went onto the roof to check for missing seals or other damage. He came to show us what he had found, and told us that the vents had been installed incorrectly originally and that warm moist air was being discharged into the attic. We asked about the cost to replace the ducts and how soon the work could be done. The cost was low and the work could be done right away. We never felt pressured to replace the vents, and really appreciated the honest information he gave us, which allowed us to make the choice to do a repair or not. We were really happy about the process, how thorough Chad was, and how he explained his findings. The repair went quickly, and now we feel safe again, not worried about roof problems. They responded promptly to my questions about fall protection,k and materials to b e used. They arrived on time, completed the work , and cleaned up all material.

Played phone-tag to set up estimate that did not happen. Had three other contractors come out and provide estimates before this company called and left a message with a cell-phone number to call in order to set up an appointment; a number I called, left message and got no reply.

I met with Brian for an estimate. (Estimate was extremely high, so did not chose to use their services.) I had called Roof Toppers, and apparently they have more than one name, as Cherry Roofing is the company that came out for the estimate.

They have a really good rating on Angie's list. We've had nothing but an honest and pleasant experience with them. We spent $295 on their services. They're very honest. We were afraid that they were going to say that we would need a new roof but they said that we have ten more years for that. They've been here before and so we've had two problems with our roof. They're very honest and they try to do the job in a least expensive way for us which is really good. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

It was a positive experience, and I was very impressed with them. They were recommended by a contractor. I built my home in 2000 and found that the roof material was not right. The company made good on the warranty, and I had to replace the entire roof. They were very professional. They came out and gave me estimates. They helped with all of the paperwork that goes into claiming the warranty, which I greatly appreciated. They came out and took photos and all that stuff. They provided first class service all the way around. The workmanship was really good. There is a lot of mess when a roof is taken off, and I was really impressed that they went around and swept the entire perimeter of the house when they were done every day so that there was nothing on the ground. The total bill was about $15,000, and the warranty paid a little more than half of that. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent communication, no problem describing the material to be used in detail. On time, did the job quickly including the end of the gutters as requested and left with no mess.

They were prompt and reasonably thorough. They also got back to us fairly quickly with the bid. My husband actually favored them but I favored a different company. However, the bid was really close to the other bids received from other companies. They were so close that I wouldn’t feel bad, other than I had verbally committed to another company. Hence, we would be using their services to get the work done.

Willing to detail out the products being used before start of work, showed up on time and wore the appropriate fall protection, cleaned up after the job. followed up with customer service survey. Work has held up to the heavy rain with no more sagging gutters.

They did a very good job in giving us an estimate and they also went up to the attic and took some pictures of the insulation and gave us some recommendations of adding insulation. That was kind of nice and they showed me exactly what was wrong. We were having roofing, insulation and gutters done and we went with a company that took care of all that, so I did not have to get 2 or 3 different contractors.

Everything went well. They did a good job and I have not had any problems since.

Awesome company to deal with. Very professional, complete, honest! Worked quickly and efficiently to make repairs in the rainy season. Quote seemed fair for the amount of work that was being done. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

The drain pipe was of different size, so he managed to crimp it and put it in. He said that I could have got the work done cheaper with other companies that may have the right size of the drain pipe but I wanted the work to be done right away, so I went ahead with him. The quality of his work was good and I was satisfied with his service.

They let us know a day in advance precisely when they were going to be here. One thing that I really liked was when we were figuring out the placement, they explained how it was going to be installed and gave us some good feedback about what it would look like inside the house, which allowed us to make a good decision. The work was great!

They were always on time, and they cleaned up after themselves before they left. The person that came out to bid the on the job did a very thorough explanation of everything that they were going to do. It was clear they were going to do an experienced and quality job. They also really paid attention to the details, and made sure that any little problem was taken care of, even if it wasn't in the contract.
