Description of Work: George answered my inquiry email the same day, telling me that based on the symptoms I described, my washing machine would need major parts replaced, which would cost the same as or more than buying a new machine. I really appreciated his help, and the fact that I didn't have to pay someone to come out and tell me the same thing. If and when I need repairs I'll be contacting Banceu's again.

Description of Work: The repairman showed up right on time and very quickly identified the problem with my dishwasher. It wasn't draining properly because of soap buildup in the drain area. He cleaned out all of the buildup soap residue and recommended a different brand of soap to avoid the problem in the future, which does seem to be making a difference now.

Description of Work: Very professional and efficient. We had an issue with tile blocking the microwave bracket and George was able to contact a handyman to cut the tile and we got all the work done on the same day. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: My washer wasn't spinning, so I contacted George. He responded the next business day, and he was able to provide me an estimate and fit me into his schedule. He arrived right when he said he would. He was very quick to complete the job, but thorough. He knew exactly what was wrong and had all the parts to fix it. He was in and out in 20 minutes.

Description of Work: He arrived on time, confirmed the problem and set to work. He found a defective part which required going to the parts house and returning to finish the job a couple of hours later. We would use Banceu's again. Price was reasonable.

 + -1 moreIn addition he went beyond the dryer and answered my questions about some little problems with our washer, giving me good advice on what needed to be addressed and more importantly what didn't. On top of that he leveled it. There was no charge for all the little extras he did. His labor charges are by the job, not the hour. I found the price very reasonable.. I would call him back without hesitation. George is a good man and does a good job at fair price.
Description of Work: Our dryer, over time, had been turning off before the cycle was over with panel lights flashing and finally stopped heating. I called Banceu's and talked to George. He made an appointment for the next day. Snow storm moved in overnight and covered the area with snow, but George still came, showing up promptly and on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and thankfully had the part on hand, repairing it on the spot. While he had the panels off, he did some routine checks and preventive maintenance, greasing bearings and oiling other parts, checking to make sure everything was in good shape.

 + -1 moreExcellent service and very fair price considering the work that had to be done, plus his travel distance. We definitely will use Banceau's Appliance on any of our large appliances.
Description of Work: I called Banceu's appliance on 3/18/2013. George called back within the hour. I gave him the make/model # of our Whirlpool Cabrio washer plus error codes as it would not complete wash cycle. We set up the appmnt day/time. discussed approximate cost. George arrived on time as scheduled and installed the sensor unit ($136.00), reassembled and ran the wash/rinse/spin cycle, then ran diagnostics again.. No error codes Yayy So costs ran:travel time/diagnostics $69.00, sensor unit $136.00 and labor $80.00. Your travel time may be less if you live much closer to Vancouver.

 + -1 moreI spoke to George Jr. at Banceu's Appliance by phone for a quote. He came out that week and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the defective thermostat. The cost was within the range I was quoted by phone. He was very professional, friendly and pleasant to talk with. I am completely satisfied with the service performed and the price, and will use Banceu's Appliance again when needed.
Description of Work: The freezer coils on our Maytag refrigerator kept icing up, causing the refrigerator to get warm.

 + -1 moreOur dryer started to make a lot of noise while working which became louder and louder, at the same time we noticed oil on the floor under the washer. It was time to call the experts. We've used Banceu's Appliance service before and were very pleased with their work in the past. So we called them again. George Jr. came next morning, fixed quickly dryer then he checked washer and explained that the problem was transmission and it will be very costly to repair it, so he advised to use the machine until it will stop work and then replace it. Overall experience is great. George is very professional, polite and left place clean after work. We will hire him again if needed.
