Description of Work: This is an addition to my previous review of 2012, and a warning to those who use Area Heating and Cooling, IF you've had problems with destructive raccoons or pest, who have ripped off you duct insulation, broken into ducts, etc. I wrote in the previous review that Michael assured me the crawl space was secure, after job was completed! NOT SO! Four plus years later, when having our ducts cleaned, J & M services found our crawl space in the same condition as before Michael and crew started their work! They left a gaping space in back of the Heat Pump, where cables go from the pump into crawl space! The flimsy foam they tried to stuff into it, was undoubtedly an easy chew for another or same raccoon! The result, we just received an estimate of $4,000 to clean up and restore the ducts and crawl space. I have emailed and left voice mail messages for Michael about this. No admission of wrong! After first reply, no replies to my further emails! BEWARE of hiring this company, and double check all your crawl space vents, because raccoons will get back in if they find a vulnerable vent left unsecured as Michael and crew did!

Description of Work: Cleaned & tuned up central air system

Description of Work: They do a yearly maintenance on our heating and cooling system. They do a very thorough job at cleaning.

Description of Work: Came out to service our furnace. Even replaced the filters for us.

Description of Work: Inspected a/c, found the door was open keeping it from working. Closed the door and a/c now works

Description of Work: cleaned the furnace and checked it out so that it was in good shape for rest of winter. also serviced the air conditioner for the hot weather and all was good to go. I think the servicing of air conditioner was an extra $ 35.00 They were great guys checked every thing out before leaving.

Description of Work: yearly maintenance of A/C and heating unit. They are prompt and quick. It was easy to make an appointment. I even needed an additional invoice emailed and they easily accommodated us.

Description of Work: They came to place a bid for a replacement furnace while they did not get the bid, they were a very close second as it was financing that was the difference maker. I will have no problem calling them for future work.

Description of Work: I believe that his company is a good one, however, our needed service turned into long comedy of errors. After each visit, our gas water heater would work, and then stop. We would call and they would come out again to tighten something or replace a part they missed. Again, same scenario, heater would stop and out they would come and then we would wait for a part. Agreeable, our heater is old, and a couple of the employees fairly young. In any case, the third time, the boss came out and fixed everything perfectly and we have not had any problems. I tend to think of thie whole thing as a fluke as their ratings were high. I feel they are a bit spendy, but in the long run, very professional and admitted to any mistakes and fixed accordingly. They were friendly and always on time and would call ahead to let us know when they would arrive. And, yes, I believe that I would call them again should any issues arise with our heater in the future. | |contented custosmer, |N. Dezsofi

Description of Work: called to schedule a "check up" for my furnace/heat pump. when i told jody the installation date she took the serial # and model # to contact her carrier provider to see what the warranty was. unfortunately for me it was 5 yr and i am at 6. i was grateful for her honesty and quick call back with the information. i will call my other provider since it has been a possible issue for some time and see what we can do about a resolution but i would def call and schedule maintenance/problems with my unit in the future. A+++
