I’d highly recommend their services. I worked directly with their owner, Robert, and he went above and beyond to make sure that we met the requirements for any refunds or rebates. He worked with us very well and did a great job.

Although my air conditioner was not serviced, the person who scheduled the appointment and the technician who responded were professional and responded in a timely manner to my request. I was not charged for the visit, and the technician called to find out who would be able to service my air conditioner. The only reason I would not use the company again is because they are not able to service the unit I have.

The fan on our 23 year old air conditioner condenser failed. Area Heating performed a service call and determined that the fan's motor had failed. An Area Heating sales representative visited the site on a follow up call and prepared an estimate to replace the motor with a generic brand motor as Trane no longer supported the old motor. The Area representative provided a cost analysis of a new air conditioner versus a new heat pump. A new heat pump was selected based on the annual cost savings of the analysis. Area Heating arrived on the scheduled day and replaced the components. During the installation the technician noticed that a section of ductwork in the crawl space had split and another section had become crushed. The sections were repaired. We were very pleased with the care taken by the technicians during the installation and will be using Area Heating again in the future.

I used Angie's List, the BBB and any other source I could lay my hands on to come up with a short list of six reputable companies in our area that I wanted to have bid on my whole home retrofit and decommissioning of the prior heating system. They represented the best of all the major brands, and one wild card. I knew it was going to be a big job, and many companies laughed when they found out my home had baseboard, radiant ceiling, wall electric, and wood stove. I found Area Heating and Cooling to have the most attractive package as a whole (product line, price, plan for implementation, and guarantee). I worked with their salesman Tom directly, until the plan required input from their top technician. Between the technician and myself, we were able to find a way of installing all the duct work so that it can be sheeted over and will look as if it was original. The crew that performed the work was friendly, professional and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day, which was especially important given that I have small children. I am completely satisfied with the system and with their work. It has been trouble-free since it was installed nine months ago. My home feels fantastic, and my electric bill went down noticeably.

They were very punctual and nice. They explained everything to me so that I could understand the issues I was having and how they were going to fix those issues. Very pleasant experience overall.

I scheduled this and several other technicians and contractors as part of a team to evaluate a home I'm thinking of buying. The tech from Area Heating & Cooling arrived on time and got right to work. When I had a break from everyone else there that day I went out to the garage to check how the inspection was going. The tech was very informative & thorough. After completing his work we discussed the general condition of the unit and it's possible additional life expectancy. I was very satisfied with the service provided and would definitely use this service provider again.

The tech who came out was very professional, fast, and very experienced in this field. Pleasant to deal with, courteous, and answered all of our questions about our system that we asked. Would definitely use them again.

They are really nice and punctual. They were in and out of here in a flash. They made arrangements with us to meet them at our rental, they were fine to work with.

Overall, they were absolutely fantastic! I was very impressed. They sent someone out for an estimate and showed up on time. They gave a fair estimate and did the work when they said they would do it.

They do excellent work. I recommend them highly. They will be installing a new air conditioner for me, shortly. Their last service cost me $280; it was for the removal of the old air conditioner. They will give us credit on the purchase of the new unit. They are prompt and professional. Their price is good. They give me good advice and recommendations when it comes to things that are not directly related to the air conditioning or the furnace unit. I have been using them for about 23 years now. They have done a good job over the years and that is the reason why I continue to use them. They service my furnace and air conditioning units every year. I will continue to use them in the future as well.

The heat pump and furnace were expensive, but they work amazingly well. Their work was excellent. Every technician that came out was very pleasant and easy to deal with.

They added A/C to the house. Did a great job. The install is clean and looks original to the house. They had also come out when my furnace quit working and got all of the guts replaced under warranty just a few days before it was set to be out of coverage.

Tom Dollemore, at Area Heating and Cooling, installed our heat pump system with only four days notice. We are very pleased with the system.

It was a pleasure to have the crew on hand. They were very smart, hard working and efficient. The arrived on time and completed the job in one day. The only glitch was that I didn't notice that the coolant line blocked the water heater. It doesn't effect the heat pump but could make future removal of the water heater more awkward.

They were prompt, exactly on time. They were completely neat and clean in their work, very courteous, and just did an excellent job all the way around. The price was better than other estimates as well and they were recommended by the public utilities department.

Dan did a very nice job by coming out to our home, and doing an in-depth analysis of our home and needs for cooling. He spent extra time going thru the different units, how A/C works, and showing us the details of how inexpensive it is to run AC. Very professional work. The installer Randall was very professional. He showed up right on time, and worked hard throughout the day to get the unit installed. His attention to detail was appreciated. He put on the booties before coming into the house each time, and thoroughly cleaned up the mess of dust and scrap after the job. He spent extra time showing us how the thermostat would be programmed.

Home has consistently not been warm enough with heat pump and is dusty. Had service man come out on two occasions, both times I was told system was working properly. Heat pump breakers has blown more often, than logical. Volume of dust in house is high, wire mesh filters, collect dust often. Had independent firm, check dust level, confirmed that air filters not working properly. Also, had fan unit blow in furnace, replacement cost about $500, found out later this was very overpriced. Had to replace immediately, as it was the middle of winter.

Dan bid the job by coming to my house, measuring the exterior walls and windows, and putting this information into his laptop computer program. The program calculated the tonnage required for my house and printed an ''Estimated Annual Cost Comparison'' with data and graphs showing eatimated annual heating/cooling costs for three heat pump models. It indicated that I'd save $300 to $400 a year in heating/cooling costs by using the heat pump for heating instead of gas (now the back-up system)except when outside temperatures are below 40 degrees. Randall did the installation and set-up work and I was able to observe a lot of it. I have mechanical training and experience and can say that his craftmanship, knowledge, and attention to detail were outstanding.

Representative was prompt and very pleasant. Very thorough explanation of the different systems and their functions. Answered questions adequately. Overall a pleasant experience.

Steve was on time, clean, neat, polite and friendly. Accomplished the work in a very timely manner. He took the time to answer all of my questions.

INSTALLATION WAS FIRST CLASS. VERY PLEASED WITH THE ATTENTION TO DOING THE JOB RIGHT. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY THE COUNTY AND STATE INSPECTORS WHO LOOKED THE JOB OVER.

YEARLY MAINTENANCE IS DONE ON OUR HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM. THUS WE ARE KEPT UNDER A WARRANTY ON OUR SYSTEM. FILTERS FOR THE HEATER ARE CHANGED EVERY 6 MONTHS.
