Description of Work: My electrolux induction cooktop doesn't work after 4 years. The control panel just dead when I was cooking. I check the internet for the contract agent. I choose Appliance care since they are the nearest. The owner come right away. Then he made a call to the electrolux to verify the issue and get the induction controller needs to be replaced. (The diagnosed fee is $85+tax ). He recommended me to contact the company for the better parts price. That saved me almost $300 (50% discount). That's really nice. After my parts arrived, he come promptly. He took parts apart very fast. However, I noticed he didn't follow the procedure very well. The nails are not put in order, so as the controllers. So after he put them back, the controller got fuzzy. It's not what I knew before. So he took them apart to exchange the connections, and then it works. However, there are some nails left. Since it worked, I didn't argue too much. However, when I started to cook dinner that night, the back vent just lifted my cooktop. That scared me. I called them right away, but they are off-duty. The cooktop seems to be distorted. I wait for my husband home. Then we nailed down the cooktop and tried to nail them correctly by our self to fit our cooktop opening correctly. There might be only half cm tolerance between the back vent and cooktop. But if you didn't nail it right, it won't fit. They did call back next morning. But we already fix it by ourselves. The re-installed fee is $95+tax. They have passions, but not working professionally.

Description of Work: This is the 3rd time I have used Appliance Care. The first time it was to replace a compressor and coil on a Sub-Zero (a major job). Hubert, the owner, was perfect on his execution. Following the job I mentioned my ice maker had never worked properly (inconsistent). After researching he noticed there was a flexiable plastic water line that should have been used in a Sub-Zero. Braided stainless steel is standard. When he pulled the refrigerator out the line was so tight up agaist the back it was crimping off the water supply. This is becuase my builder had not left enough room for the refrigerator. Hubert then ordered the correct parts and returned. We noted I was also fortunate I had not had a water leak in 11 years (plus, there was no shut off valve for the water line in the front of the unit, whcih should have been std. proceedure).

Description of Work: The springs on the door of my KitchenAid dishwasher broke. I contacted the store where we purchased it and they referred me to Appliance Care.

Description of Work: Our bottom Fisher-Paykel dish drawer filled with water when the top drawer was run. Essentially, the top drawer was draining into the bottom one. The technician was able to fix the problem by lengthening the drain lines and running them so that it was no longer possible for the top drawer to drain into the bottom one.
