+ -1 moreI got the bids in January and the work was completed in March. There was some delay due to the need to have the buyer of the wood present but this was clearly communicated and acceptable to us.
Description of Work: Mike took down 4' diameter Black Walnut that was just too big and too close to other dwellings. He made the effort to find a buyer for the wood who assisted with removing the tree. This took a bit longer than anticipated but both saved us money and made good use of the wood. I subsequently had him take the tops out of two Alders and will very likely hire him again. He is a very pleasant man to do business with if a little slow in billing! I highly recommend Altree.

+ -1 more1 bid was $800.00 with chipping, cutting to 16'' and clean up, 2nd bid was $700.00 with chipping, cutting and clean up. 3rd bid from Altree was $2200.00 to take down the tree only. Told us the tree was diseased and would come down in about 4 years (which it wasn't). USE CAUTION - consider at least getting other bids.
Description of Work: Bid on cutting down a 80 ft Fir Tree for sight distance on driveway.

+ -1 moreExcellent work, punctual and free estimate. They cut out and ground some old tree trunks while they were working on my other trees. Then they spread the grindings. The one think I really liked is they took all the wood and they donate it to charity. I will have them come back to do more work.
Description of Work: I had 5 large trees removed, one was hanging over my house.

+ -1 moreI found them on the internet, I put in a request for them to call me and they called me right away and came out the same day (all within hours of my call). He is actually taking the wood and donating it.
Description of Work: I have 5 tree that they are going to be cutting down for me. Which includes all stump grinding, and hauling away of trees. ($1,250.00)
