This is the 4th year we have used Affordable Ponds, and we couldn't be happier with the service. Kyle is always on time, very polite and does a remarkable job. He gets right to work, cleans up after himself and our pond looks new every time. You can't go wrong using the services of Affordable Ponds and Kyle.

Jeff Reid was knowledgeable and helpful. My pond was really dirty and had tree roots growing into it. John and his assistant showed up right on time, went to work and completely cleaned all the leaves and muck out. John installed a valve near the top of my waterfall to reduce the volume of water a bit so I don't loose so much water with splashing and evaporation. These guys really know what they're doing. I highly recommend them.

They were on time and did a great job. Friendly and professional. I needed the flow on the pond's waterfall decreased and they came out and did that too. Wonderful folks to work with!

Excellent service at a reasonable price.

This is the second time we have used Affordable Ponds to deep clean our 2500 gallon koi pond in the backyard. Kyle came out and did another fantastic job. He was very professional and informative, answering any questions that I had. The pond was power washed and is now beautiful - the water is completely clear and you can see every rock in the pond - it makes our koi fish look that much more amazing. Kyle educated me further on the care of the pond and the feeding schedule of our fish to ensure we are not over feeding them and treating the pond with the correct amount of product to help maintain the beauty of the pond throughout the year. We will definitely be using Affordable Ponds every year for our Spring cleaning. Highly recommended!!

We have used Affordable Ponds for several years, I think 5. We have them come ech spring to clean our water fountain. It is always such a mess to clean each spring with leaves and pine needles. They have always been punctual. The work is done efficiently and professionally. They fountain is cleaned including the reservoir that is always very dirty and they always check the pump and plumbing and get everything in working order. I did this all myself the first year and it is a tough job.

Jeff was great. First I thought his price was a high, but his follow up has been terrific, and well worth the price. When the motor failed on my bubbler fountain he promptly sent his guys out right away and they replaced the motor at no charge. Also when I was struggling with a valve in the pond he promptly returned my call and gave me (simple) instructions on how to deal with it. My contacts with Jeff have always been great and his customer first approach was terrific.

Jeff and Joe were very friendly, punctual and professional. They did a wonderful job. I’ll definitely be calling them again when I need help.

We are very happy with the job done! The crew did all demo of the coping, liner and unusable framing, filled the hopper deep end up to a manageable depth with gravel. Then they placed and secured the liner, covered the entire bottom with river rock (using under-gravel filtration) and built a robust artisan basalt edge around the perimeter. A single 9000 gph pump runs super-quietly in the existing pool shed, all newly plumbed and the pipes cleverly concealed behind a small "zen" waterfall and under a "bridge". Our focal point is a cedar dock the crew constructed beautifully at the end where most observers will be. The design is built for low maintenance, goldfish and plants only, with some hand-skimming during the fall. On really hot days we can still take a dip to cool off due to Jeff planning no electrical components in the water! The whole job was done in four days. For us it seems little short of a miracle. Jeff and the crew were extremely dependable, easy to deal with and helpful in getting a workable plan we can take care of with a little help. The site was tricky to access so some landscaping will require tuning up, otherwise they did a judicious job cleaning up after this labor-intensive job. We are looking forward to adding patio space, some shade, and spending time watching dragonflies, swallows, and bats play around our water feature next season!

He even removed a dead fish from my pond so that I wouldn't arrive home to it and then need to remove it from the pond myself. Kyle was great! Very professional, made sure that everything was clean and taken care of, gave us great advice on future maintenance and ways to improve the aesthetics with planting around the pond. He re-adjusted the pond rocks and treated the pond to make it fish-ready.

Jeff & his crew exceeded my expectations

Kyle arrived early and was very friendly and professional. I let him into the backyard where the pond is located and went to work. I came home to a beautiful pond. I could see every rock in the pond. Before it was a hazy, green mess full of algae and other debris. Kyle made sure my pump was working properly and cleaned any blockage found. My pond is very large (it used to be an in ground pool,) so this job took approximately 5 hours to complete. Kyle and the owner Jeff were very helpful and knowledgable with all of my questions. I definitely recommend Affordable Ponds and will use their service again!

It went extremely well. Jeff was very professional, pleasant, and creative when he came out to look over our situation and give us his recommendations. He even provided options that would have not included them. The technician who came out to do the work was also very professional, courteous, and worked long and hard to get the work done. He even discovered a switch problem that led us to not have to replace one of the pumps. The ponds looked beautiful, the pumps worked great, and the cost came in less than they had bid. There isn't any company any better than these guys!

On time and well beyond our expectations. The original pond was expanded and deepened and a waterfall was placed. It is beautiful! Added a filtration system to help with keeping the pond clean and our fish have a place to hide so they don't become a sushi meal for the raccoons. Completed in one day which included emptying the existing pond of water, using existing rocks and bubbler, deepening the pond to about 3 or 4 feet, new pond liner, adding boulders and the three tiered waterfall along. Moss and plants and bark dust were brought in, too.

Needed my backyard pond cleaned thoroughly and looked on Angie's List for a business that performed such work. Found Affordable Ponds LLC and read their reviews. Was very satisfied with the reviews so called them up for an appointment to come to the house and give a free estimate. Jeff showed up at the house on time and remembered to call first so I could put our dogs in the house. Jeff was very pleasant, helpful, and professional. He provided an estimate and I set up a date/time to have the pond cleaned. A few days before the appointment our pond pump quit working. I called Jeff up and explained the situation and asked if they could replace the pump when they came to do the pond cleaning. Jeff was very helpful and said since they would be doing the pond cleaning anyway they would not charge the installation fee for the new pump. Kyle came to the house on the day of the cleaning. He too was very pleasant, helpful and professional. He did an awesome job and answered all questions/concerns I had. He got the pond sparkling clean and the new pump installed and working within the time frame they had quoted me. I will definitely use this company again and encourage others to do the same.

When we contacted Jeff he assured us that not only would they clean it, it would look like new when finished. His technician Kyle arrived on time and spent the entire morning draining, washing and refurbishing the entire pond. It did indeed look like new.
