Aegis Cleaning Services

They came out and did a good job. They did it quickly and they left. We didn't do anything additional to the service that they provided. They were challenges to get there. They had to reschedule a couple of times and then their vehicle broke down on the freeway once. So, it was kind of a series of episodes but they finally made it and did the job and for all intention purposes it seems fine. They seem to have gotten a lot of dust and dirty out of there so that was good thing and we haven't had it done in quite a number of years.

It's the first time I used their service and I wasn't very happy with their professionalism. They cleaned our dryer vent and they left a mess in the carpet and I just didn't like the people, I didn't like the way they did things. They did a subversion job outside.

He was on time, very friendly and helpful and did a very thorough job

It went well. I couldn't say that there was anything wrong with them.

I was looking forward to buying one of the deals for Aegis air duct cleaning - am so glad now that I didn't. I called first to make sure they could schedule within our time line. My first call was Friday (writing on Wednesday) at the end of the business day. I left a message and expected a call back on Monday. No call all day Monday. I called again Tuesday morning and left another message. When I hadn't heard back by the afternoon, I called a couple more times. I never reached a live person and, as of Wednesday near 5pm, have not received a call back. I purchased a deal from another company and had my call answered quickly! Will not try to contact this provider again! UPDATE: Now Thursday afternoon - received a call from Aegis appologising for not getting back to me sooner. Apparently, "they" were out sick until today. Did make me feel much better that I heard something from them. Just changed rating from "F" to "C"

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We spent more because we had more ducts. I would never use them again. I would put them in the box. They came out and did the work fine. We paid and told them that we would need a receipt. They said they would send us one. We've called 20-25 times to get that. We need the receipt for our taxes. They don't always answer the phone or return their calls. We would never use them again because of their customer service. They have 4 phone numbers and I've called and left messages with different people. I've given them all the information about the check. The pricing was fine. When you add it all up, it didn't seem to be that much different than others. They missed a couple of ducts but we didn't notice that until a couple of weeks later. They were on time for the appointment.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was disappointed. It didn't work out at all. They hired a subcontractor. A window was broken but I didn't find it until 3 months later so I can't prove it. My gutters weren't clean. I tried to address it with them and they said they would come out and re-clean my gutters for free. They came out and said their ladders wouldn't reach because I had a 3-story house. They said their ladders only go to 26 feet. I measured my gutters and they were 18 feet. I was very disappointed and I learned my lesson. The original problem was that after they cleaned my gutters, it didn't rain for 3 or 4 weeks and I traveled. It was probably six weeks before I noticed that they were not draining right and they were still the same. I told them I wasn't going to hold them responsible for the window. I called and left a message after they said their ladders only went 26 feet and I never heard back from them. I did have one good conversation with the company and I thought they were going to remedy the situation. She was very apologetic and explained what happened with the contract employee but the work didn't get done. It was a great price if the work had been done right. They did come out and schedule and got back with me the first time.

The service provider called to set up an appointment after I purchased one of the Angie's List specials. It was very easy to schedule the appointment and they were willing to work around my baby's nap schedule. The two young men that came were very professional and worked diligently. They were finished within a couple of hours so that I could put my baby down for a nap. They seemed to do a great job and were careful to not disturb my home or make a mess. It was a pleasant experience and I would likely hire them again when I need my vents cleaned.

It was fine. They were not outstanding but not terrible. The pricing was very good. There were some problem getting a hold of them at first.

I was a little disappointed that they just ran a brush down my furnace but they did not clean down to the base. The guy said they were not authorized for clean the furnace area. I thought it would be like a vacuum. They were careful and did a nice job of what they did. I feel like they should have gotten dirt and dust out. I do not think it was worth the $199 to move the dust around and not vacuum it out. I did not really research either so it could be my fault.

The young man that did the work was courteous and professional.

I purchased a "Big Deal" for dryer vent cleaning on 5/4/13. I sent them an email right away with my contact information. On 5/7/13, I received a voice mail with a contact name and number. I returned the phone call and left a voice mail. A week went by and I didn't hear anything. I called the number listed on Angies List and left another message. Another week went by and I called the two numbers I had and left messages. Still no response. I contacted Angie's List and they contacted the vendor for me. On 5/29/13, I was told that Aegis would contact me to schedule the service. As of 6/4/13, I still have not heard from them.

I wasn’t thrilled with the results. I have had better experiences with our cleaning services.

They were on time and professional. They answered all of my questions including showing me the dirt they retrieved from the vents. They were careful to keep my home clean by using shoe covers. When returning to clean the roof they were on time and did a nice job cleaning the roof. They were to spray a moss retardant on the roof. I was not home so time will tell if this was done and the effectiveness of the retardant. Overall I was happy with the services provided by Aegis.

I was not that impressed with them. They were fine, showed up on time and cleaned. They pretty much did my main floor, they did not get my shower or anything. What they did, they did fine. Based on all the other cleaners I have had, they cleaned the least amount of area for the time spent. For what I paid, I would expect them to clean more of my house. They were right on time.

Patrick of Aegis Cleaning Services arrived on time and worked diligently cleaning all of my exterior windows, the exterior and interior of my four sliding doors and the tall windows above one of the sliding doors, and the interior windows of my choice (a few of my interior windows are blocked by desks and glass shelves full of knickknacks and I prefer to clean those.) Patrick cleaned the glass perfectly, removing spider cocoons and leaving no smears; he wiped the window sills clean; and removed and scrubbed window screens, then told me the best way for me to clean my screens in the future. He was extremely neat, and considerate of my tile floor when he had to use a ladder on them. My home is now full of light and I love it! This is the first time I have used a window washing service instead of cleaning them myself, and I'm sold on using Aegis and Patrick again from now on.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and the deal was for $219, but I ended up spending a $100 more than that. My experience with them was excellent. They were friendly and very efficient. They did clean up well and I didn’t have to worry about that. They didn’t leave any debris behind. They seemed to know what they were doing. The gentleman on his own initiative actually put a screw into my fence. So he fixed my fence and that was good of him.

Purchased a Big deal for Aegis Cleaning Services to clean the air ducts. We had extra work done and everything went fine.

The two workers from Aegis did a great job and were quick in their work. They were also very polite and professional, as well as kind to our dog, which is a nice added bonus. We will definitely use them again in the future!

They seemed very professional and went right to work. They were supposed to work for a total of four hours (two hours, two people). So when my dog became agiitated, I told them I would be back soon, as I was taking him for a walk. The dog and I were returning and on our street when I saw them leaving! They stopped and told me they were done, the house looked nice and they were only leaving 20 minutes early. But, 20 minutes times 2 is 40 minutes, a substantial share of the time they were supposed to work... When I came home,, the house did look nice and clean. But later I noticed that the kitchen cupboards and the backsplash hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Oh, well. I didn't pay that much, as it was an Angie's deal and I should have been more observant. So maybe I should get the B instead of the cleaning service!

They came, they washed all windows, even those high clerestory windows that I couldn't ever get. The team was quick and hard-working.. So, the experience was great for me.

Service person arrived on time, actually at the beginning of the time window the company representative told us. Vent was cleaned of lint. No complaints. We appreciate this opportunity to have the service done at a reduced rate.

The two individuals showed up on time, protected the dryer and walls while cleaning the duct, and put the dryer back in the correct place. They did not gripe when they had to go through a crawl space under the deck to clean up around the exterior of the vent. Overall very pleased.
