I can't say enough amazing things about the phenomenal job that Shad & Deborah did or give this company any higher of a recommendation. I met with LOTS of painters & was impressed from my first communication with Patty (with all the remodeling we have done, it is very rare to find somebody who is SO on top of things & whose communication far exceeds anything I could have expected, I still am not sure how she does it all) & once I first met with Shad I knew right away that they were the company I would be using. His knowledge, experience, & expertise was evident from the beginning & his explanations/details made me confident I had found somebody who was going to do things right the first time & whose quality of work would stand out.. I am a really meticulous, detail oriented person who can often be disappointed with the end result of something, but with 5 Star I was beyond pleased with the work that they did. The attention to detail is superb! My banister that they painted (goodbye orange oak) was something I was really nervous about because we have brand new high pile carpet & they were using black paint & I was so happy that there wasn't one oops in any of their painting. They were very friendly, a lot of fun to have around while they painted, & they always cleaned up after themselves. Finding a company like this is a invaluable asset to a homeowner. The pricing is competitive & in most cases their steps/process exceeded other bids I received. They went above & beyond for me & will get all of my future business & referrals. I can't wait to use them for future projects.

Everything went as planned. Everyone was personable and easy to work with. They performed the work as committed, even painting a couple of walls more than the quoted twice to ensure the work was done well. They were always on time, stayed all day and even moved a last minute morning start time to accommodate our schedule. I would hire them again.

Pleasant to work with, punctual and responsive. Main reason to choose them is the traditional “mom and pop” owner operator business so their work is more conscientious because their reputation and livelihood are on the line. We saw Shad onsite putting his 26 years of painting experience work on our project rather than some franchise or corporate owner supervising from a remote distance. Excellent job. We are very happy with their work and would definitely recommend their service to others.

Patty and Shad are very conscientious, responsive, and professional. While we did not accept their bid, we would certainly have them out to bid again and definitely hire them in the future.

Shad and Patty were both great to work with. They were the first company to call me back and were able to come out and bid my project right away. They scheduled the project timely and completed the work ahead of schedule. Since I couldn’t be there when the work was performed, they both met me on a Sunday to do a walk threw. Five stars for 5 Star Painting!!!

Everything came out perfect. They helped by taking down the wooden blinds and moving the couches. They were both very pleasant to work with, giving their expert opinions when asked. I am very happy with the experience of working with them and the final result. I will have them back to paint the exterior next summer.

Shad and Patty were amazing to work with. They were quick with their responses and availability. I wanted my entryway painted a lighter color. Once I contacted them, they were out to give me an estimate within a few days. The estimate was very very reasonable. I was hosting a party in a week and he kindly squeezed me in so that I could have it done in time. It turned out amazing! They were in and out in a day. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to pass their name on to others in my neighborhood.

The team is exceptionally professional and perfectionists. They did exactly what they said they'd do from the time of providing a quote, updates as to schedule and completed the job as agreed upon. I could not be more pleased with them and expect to hire them again in the near future.

Shad and Patty are wonderful people who took care of everything for me during a very stressful time. From pleasant phone call to fast consult, estimate and a completion that I can only describe as PERFECTION! I have a lot of crown molding, wainscoting and carved stairway detailing and all edges are perfectly clean. I chose Patty's sugestion for color, Sherwin William's Kilm Beige, and just love it! The whole experience and result was first class.

Shad and Deborah did a totally outstanding job. They were on time, more than responsive to any questions or additional work we needed to be done, totally prepped everything and put it all back into place perfectly when they were done. For the amount of work and degree of professionalism, I believe the price was more than fair and the result outstanding.

Shad and Deborah did a fantastic job. We thought we would have to totally replace all of our old, laquered doors/baseboards/trim. Shad and Deborah totally concentrated on our job start to finish, took extensive time to tape off, mask and plastic protect our belongings. It was worth every penny. Our home went from an 80's look to brand new.

He got us scheduled quickly, showed up on time, and completed the job the same day. He was easy to work with and did a great job. Would definitely use him for any painting we have in the future.

Shad and Debra from Five Star Painting did an excellent job! We used them for the exterior of our home. They pressure washed, filled cracks, and made other small repairs to the siding and trim before taping and two complete coats of paint on the house. Trim detail was perfect! Flawless attention to detail. Last month we had Shad and Debra from Five Star Painting return to paint the interior. Again, they meticulously patched holes, cracks, and repaired Sheetrock. They asked that we not move any furniture or take anything off the walls. They did it all! This made it so easy for us. They did a perfect job! Crisp, straight lines, two coats over everything. Looks amazing! Five Star did a great job, timely, affordable, easy to work with. Highly recommend!

This company out-bid two others I requested bids from. The workers cared about the work and did extra when what I thought was enough didn't look right. I was only charged extra for jobs I added on, not for their doing what they believed would make the job look right. They worked steadily and the work left our house looking great.

They never showed up to do the work. I had them do an interior paint job which went well, and he agreed at the same time he agreed to that job to do my garage door "as soon as we got a good weather day". Lots of good weather days went by, I called twice to remind him to do the work, he said he would do it "this week" each time, but never showed.

THE WHOLE TEAM WAS PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, CAREFUL, AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. IT TRANSFORMED THE HOUSE AND HELPED US REALIZE THE VISION WE HAD FOR A NEW LOOK.
