5 Star Painting/Shad & Patty Holmes

5 Star was fantastic to work with. We remodeled our kitchen in the summer and could not secure a painter. Shad came out for a bid and was honest that it would be a couple months until they could get to our job. I had received bids from other painters and I also had two painters bail last minute. I told Shad I was willing to wait, and it was definitely worth the wait. Communication with Shad and Patty was always on point. When they showed up to start the job they told me how long it would take and they finished on time. Everyday at the end of the day the house was put back together. I didn't have to move a single thing. I also appreciate more than anyone will ever know, that they always removed their shoes before entering our house. The precision in painting was great and they were fun to be around. I would definitely recommend and hire again. Thank you!

The painters were efficient and clean, always tidying up at the end of each day. The results are perfectly painted rooms. I’m very happy with the results. Shad and his crew are great to work with and were very careful to minimize their impact on our daily routine. This is our third time using their services, two interior paint jobs and one painting the exterior. So we obviously we are very satisfied with their work.

Excellent job all around by 5 Star Painting. Our exterior wall looks great and the work was done on time and completely finished same day. Zero problems and everything was exactly as we expected. Would not hesitate to use this great team of professionals again - they did great work!

Patty and Shad were both so friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job. I am thrilled with the how my entry way turned out!

Patty was amazing -- fast and precise. She painted a bedroom with 2 colors, 2 coats in about 6 hours. The lines where the 2nd color abutted the first were absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for a better job.

Shad, Debra and Frank were awesome. Quality workmanship, moved my furniture around for me, and didn't beat anything up. Fun people to be around. 10/10 would recommend.

Working with Patty was a delight. She is very responsive and friendly. We needed the work done at a specific time to coincide with the installation of new wood floors and the arrival of our moving truck from Montana. I did my best to give them as much lead time as possible but with house closings you never know if all will go according to plan. They understood and worked with me exceptionally well. I had to coordinate everything from a distance which proved to be no problem because Patty is just that awesome! They were able to accommodate our schedule and the work was done beautifully and right on time. I did not get the chance to meet Shad but my husband, who traveled to Washington to oversee things, was impressed by his painting skill as well as that of his crew. I am very anxious to see it in person when I finally get out there! If you value a quality paint job done right and on time, with great communication thrown in, you will not go wrong hiring 5 Star Painting.

Shad, Deborah and Frank did a fantastic job. I expect a lot and they exceeded everything I had experienced with another painter. They moved everything before painting, put it all back after they painted an area. I especially liked the care they gave to my flowers- only one rose stem was damaged and that was no big deal. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.

Shad and his crew are amazing! They are professional and fun, even the dogs love them. I can't speak high enough praise for them. They painted our kitchen, vaulted living walls, stair rail, and entire exterior. Everything looks amazing. 5 Star Painting has won a customer for life.

Shad was able to come and pick up the doors which had never been painted or stained, and prep and paint them. He delivered them when he said he would and they all look great.

We had most of our interior house painted. We are so happy with the quality and professionalism we received. Each day they would come and set up and by the end of the day they would clean up and put back as much as they possibly could so that we would be able to move around the house without any hindrance. Shad checked in every step of the way to make sure everything was going the way we wanted it to. Even when we added areas they were able to quote and still complete the job in the specified time, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anybody.

Excellent.I got 2 bids, and they were low bid. Work was on schedule, professional, fun well done!!! I will use them again..Now I have a good source for painting projects!

We are very, very happy with the job Five Star did for us. It was a big and detailed job and they accomplished it perfectly. This included clearing shelves, painting then putting things back, moving lots of furniture,etc. Job started and ended right on time, as promised. Not the cheapest but here you definitely get what you pay for! Highly recommended!

Patty was really responsive to helping prepare to get the painting done as soon as the seller moved out and before we moved in. They repainted the dining room ceiling and half walls, the living room walls, the family room half wall and wet bar, the bathroom and kitchen walls. Many rooms had extremely dark paint and needed multiple coats. I am so so happy we did it and it looks gorgeous. Pictures are before and after.

Shad and Patty were great. Everything was done as promised and they sent pictures of their progress.

Shad and his team completed the project on time and the quality of the work was excellent. The team moved and replaced all of our pictures and decor upon completion of the project. Shad was nice enough to replace batteries on our remote controlled shades. I would definitely recommend 5 Star Painting for all of your painting needs.

We are super happy with the work Shad and his crew did for us. They were prompt, friendly, courteous and professional. Patty kept in contact with us before, during and after the project to make sure we were well informed of progress. Our house looks fresh and amazing in it's new coat of paint.

The painting was done well and on time. Everything was cleaned up after. They had to return to repaint some areas because of another contractors work and did so expeditiously and left our house looking great. Will hire for future work inside.

We were extremely impressed with the performance of 5 Star Painting. It was a long wait to get onto the schedule, but Patty kept us informed along the way. Once we were scheduled, Shad, Deborah and Jim went to work. It was extremely hot during the period they were painting, so they started work early in the morning, and were real troopers working through the heat. We couldn't be be more pleased with their work ethic, and the quality of the job. We changed colors, and it looks awesome. It looks better than we expected. So happy we went with 5 Star. We will hire them again if the need arises.

The paint job looks terrific. Good even coats of paint. They cleaned and caulked and painted in the time frame they said they would. Shad, Deborah, and Jim were very punctual everyday. They were helpful with suggestions and took care of little things we had forgotten. Couldn't be happier with the overall job and working with the Shad and his crew. Already several neighbors have come by and complimented us on the new look of the house.

They never returned my phone call to get a bid.
