Description of Work: He sat in front of my computer for over an hour but I have no idea what he did. I paid him to, "clean up" my computer. |He put on an anti virus security, which he told me nothing about. My computer is NO faster at all. |When he left I asked him if it would be faster and he told me yes and to buy more RAM if I wanted it to be even better. |The only thing of value he did that I know of is tell me to buy more Ram. |

Description of Work: computer tune up. He was additionally able to find a new battery at a reduced price over others quoted. He went out of his way to get this to me. Much appreciated. Initially discussed concerns with Sarah. Very helpful and never treated me like a senior that didn't have a clue. Refreshing.

Description of Work: I called about 3 times last fall to have him call back, he never did. So I called once more the first of 2014 and he did not call back again. I would still like to have him answer my call and come out, I needed some help at the time, other wise I would never have bought his services. Is there anything you can do to spur his movements toward calling me for an appointment? I would love to erase all of these F's.

Description of Work: I contacted this repair person regarding multiple problems with the ongoing need for frequent scan disk sessions, task manager not displaying properly, Outlook Express incapable of displaying draft documents, and concerns about possible malware and/or virus issues, despite working anti-viral and anti-malware software consistently in place (my computer had been running exceptionally slow). To my dismay, the technician stayed focused on the fact that the theme "skin" of my computer's appearance isn't one he's familiar with. Multiple times he complained about these superficial matters, ignoring the technical issues at hand. At several points, he displayed limited knowledge regarding Firefox and had no solution for determining what the problems were or how to fix them, apart from completely erasing the computer and reinstalling everything. He had no available software, nor skills in virus/malware detection or removal. Throughout the visit, he made no effort to check any of the administrative tools, application error logs, nor any of the technical components of my machine. Several times, he openly stated that it's never necessary to defragment a PC disk, nor conduct any other types of routine PC maintenance. The dialogue was so bizarre, at times, I felt like I was talking with a computer novice, rather than a supposed "computer expert". Fortunately, for me, I was independently able to eventually locate the viruses and malware that were on my computer (and remove them), along with locating high quality computer technical support professionals who have addressed the range of execution errors that have been jamming up my computer's functions.

Description of Work: Hard drive on an old computer crashed. Computer Guy came out to our house next day and transferred all the old files to our other PC.
