Budget Blinds Serving Gig Harbor

I ordered an expensive shade from them. It took a while and they didn't have a great number of choices, but overall things seemed okay -- UNTIL about a year later when all of the sudden out of the blue they claimed I owed them an additional $1000+ even though I'd paid them in full at the time it was purchased and installed. At this point, they've sent it to collections and I'm supposed to find a very old receipt to prove that I paid them just because they make this baseless allegation over a year later. It's nuts! Even if it were true that I owed them (though it's not) it's awfully poor business practice to wait a year to ask for a payment a business claims is due. There are other choices out there with better business practices for sure.

Tyler and Beverly were friendly, They come to your house to do the measuring. They are responsive, they replaced things that are defective. They also bring sample books with them so you can check on the fabrics and they are nice people.

The folks at this locally owned small business, Budget Blinds were wonderful. They made the process of selecting shades for living room windows very comfortable and easy. A much better experience than at a big box store. Being able to view samples at home made me much more confident in choosing a color/texture. At install, they gifted us a box of Girl Scout cookies! You can't go wrong with this team.

They are affordable and I like their quality. They had to come out three times, but were very polite each time.

Was excellent. From the office help, the measuring of the blinds, to the installation and the subsequent fix on a blind the employees there were complete professionals and responded in a timely manner. I would recommend this particular office for anyone needing blinds, curtains or shutters.

Window treatments are not something you purchase often. Years pass, and you do not know what is out there. This may sound simply like a personality conflict, but that is not the case. We actually liked the woman who "helped" us. The representative was punctual. She listened to what we had in mind, and presented us with one choice. It seemed expensive. When I asked if there were other brands or options in style, she offered a black roll up shade that was just the opposite of what we had described and wanted. In fairness, we were tired from our move and just went back quickly to the one viable option offered. After she left, we realized that we felt a bit shepherded by someone who was just not real interested in our job - she walked through it as minimally and quickly as possible. After installation, we received a request from Budget Blinds to review our experience. I responded honestly. For that I received a blistering phone call from the representative reaming me out for being the first person in 18 years to say "anything" negative about her service. The review I submitted was not all that bad...but it would be now. We purchased six blinds, three of which were remote control. The order came in within the estimated timeframe. Installation was absolutely great. The blinds worked out fine for us, although I still feel like we may have overpaid for them. My concern now, is that if we should ever need service on the remote controlled blinds (nice long guarantee on the mechanism), it will be a very uncomfortable encounter. Not looking forward to doing business with these people again.

We special ordered shutters that had to be shipped from overseas. This was during the west coast port strike strike. I knew it would take a while to get the product. The owner, Bill Peach called us once a week to give us a progress report. Once it arrived in port, Bill called to let me know. Within a couple of days the shutters were installed. We were very happy with the results. They look beautiful.

How'd it go? Really well. We scheduled an appointment, and Ailsa arrived promptly. She is very professional and knowledgeable. She also has very good taste and is a great adviser. She helped me select the appropriate type and color of window coverings for my entire home. Yes, I would definitely recommend Budget Blinds.

Linda was on time for the appointment,measured the windows and gave us an itemized price for each blind. I called her back to come again to measure the upstairs because the price was so good, we ended up doing the whole house.

The owner came to our house, showed us the products that met our requirements, told us our options, and answered all our questions. The ordered shades came when we were told they would and the installer had them installed in less than an hour. All appointments were kept on time, all interactions were courteous and professional.

Ailsa helped me to select window coverings for three rooms in my house. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful in assisting me with several decisions and selections for type of window covering, design, colors, fabrics, etc. The installations took place on two dates. The first was the day after Thanksgiving and the owner did the installation himself so they could be hung prior to an event at my home. The second installation was for the custom ordered shutters, and the installer was very professional and polite. Unfortunately part of one of the shutters was damaged during shipping, but he installed them so it wasn't visible, and reorderd an entirely new shutter to replace it. Even though we encountered an issue, I was very pleased with the level of customer service and the solution provided. I plan to purchase additional window coverings from Budget Blinds as they have been great to work with.

I called Budget Blinds GH and they were very helpful on the phone. They arranged for their designer, Ailsa, to come over and help me select window treatments. She came promptly and was wonderful. She was patient, helpful, and had outstanding taste. She was kind to my rude dog, too. The blinds arrived on time, and the installation team was slightly late to my house, but they called to alert me. The franchise owner actually came here himself, with the installation guy so they could work twice as fast and get the job done on time. They were courteous, neat, and careful. They finished promptly despite their coming slightly late. I then decided to get blinds for another window, and Ailsa the designer graciously came back, without complaints. Once again, she as very pleasant and knowledgeable. The owner came to install the blinds himself, and was again prompt and courteous. I was completely delighted with their service. I'd recommend them to a friend. Ailsa was the best!

They came right out. We talked about several types of blinds. She was very helpful, her name was Linda. I think I ordered the wrong blinds and was disappointed when they came in. She said she would change out the blinds if I paid the difference. She didn't place blame. They were very professional.
