Description of Work: We returned from vacation and noticed the floor area underneath our kitchen sink was damp. We suspected a problem with the disposal as we noticed a small drip, but given we'd had a new dishwasher professionally installed recently, and that my husband had also "repaired" a dripping kitchen faucet, we were uncertain what the issue might be, other than it needed attention. I just heard that Angie's List no longer required a paid subscription to access the reviews of different service providers. I researched the plumbers available in my area and selected Springer Plumbing. Initially, I spoke with Mrs. Springer. She couldn't have been more helpful. It would be a week before someone could get to me, but she offered to inform me of any cancellations, or opportunities to squeeze me into the schedule should another appointment finish earlier than expected. When I jokingly lamented, my dishwasher was fully loaded with dirty dishes that I'd now need to wash in the mudroom sink and also kidded that my husband would need to take me out to dinner until the plumbing appointment, she made a very interesting suggestion. She asked that I photograph the plumbing setup under the sink and send to her. She'd ask her husband to inspect the photo to assess if my dishwasher plumbing ran through the disposal set-up or if it was plumbed differently which in turn would at least let me run the dishwasher. Within an hour, she not only called me back to advise not to run the dishwasher, but that her husband was in the area and could drop by to assess the situation later that afternoon. Turned out the matter was a cracked disposal. He was able to install the brand and model we wanted as a replacement that day. He inspected the dishwasher, sink, and the faucet setup to insure the matter was resolved. Everything works, the sink cabinet floor is dry and clean, the cost was reasonable, and the experience was exceptional. Thank you Springer Plumbing and Angie's List!

Description of Work: I had a leak in a pipe above the water heater. I called them this morning because it was leaking quickly and needed someone here right away. I called about 5-6 different companies and they were the only one who could come out on such short notice. They arrived on time and did a great job and we were very happy with them.

Description of Work: They did a few small jobs for me. After successfully making those repairs, they offered to check my faucets/drains to ensure they were ok. They were polite, professional and efficient. They are now my choice for plumbing matters.

Description of Work: They serviced our plugged tub and sold us some enzyme to use to slow down the recurrence of the problem. A few months later, we were having the same issue so I had them back. They gave me a break on the cost and suggestions for fixing the problem myself. The only reason I gave a 4 for price is because plumbing services (overall) seem so expensive given the time involved to fix the problem.

Description of Work: Replaced shower cartridge that I had pre-purchased. Learned as he went along,which increased time it took to do the job. Uses 'the manual' for charges per job which in my experience results in extremely high charges per job.Same experience I had w/ John's Plumbing(I'll not use them again).

Description of Work: Replaced a faulty seal in a toilet that wouldn't stop running. They were kind enough to check my other toilet to be sure it wasn't failing also - and it was fine.

Description of Work: I noticed a wet spot forming along the wall in my front room adjoining to my bathroom. I called them out to inspect it. The plumber asked if I had a shampoo caddy hanging on my shower head. I did and showed it to him. He was able to acurately deduce that the caddy pulled on the shower rod causing a leak of water between my walls. The water was finding its way along the pipe and showing up in my front room. While inspecting my piping he also noticed that the shower drain hadnt been properly installed and was dripping. I had him fix both issues and was quite happy with the quality of work.
